The paper is devoted to an examintaion of a possibilty for usage of LiDAR integrated into modern smartphones (on the example of iPhone 12 Pro) to indoor measurements. Most often this type of measurements is carried out for inventory or state cadastral registration. For this the mentioned device was used to collect data of two complex shaped rooms. Afterwards the data were compared with two point clouds created by ground-based LiDAR providing the accuracy of the claimed works and accepted as standard measurement data. The comparison was provided both for point clouds (using CloudCompare) and for room plans made using these clouds. For the first room the average square error of measurement deviation was 5–6 cm, for the second is 2–3 cm. The deviation less than 5 cm between point clouds created by smartphone and those of LiDAR refers to 78% in the first room and 32% in the second room. The results illustrate that the current technology is not appropriate for an indoor measurement accuracy which is defined as 1 cm in Russia.

The article discusses various sources of cartographic information for creating three-dimensional maps with full assignment of metric and semantic characteristics to each object, complete filing, application, storage of attribute data in the form of a database, an algorithm for creating maps is presented in the form of block diagrams. A smart storage and management system through a system of language queries is carried out in SQL. As the main software environment, in which the processing of cartographic materials was carried out, was the geoinformation system GIS "Panorama". The resulting design solutions are presented in the form of vector graphics and visualized in 3D space. It is concluded that against the background of the growing volume of spatial information about terrain objects, structuring and storing information, including cartographic materials, is an important aspect in the effective use of data for making decisions of different levels.

The article considers the work of Physical Culture Department from its foundation till nowadays. It shows sports achievements mainly in box, acrobatics, ski race, ping pong. The role of physical culture and mass work is noted, the high level of organization of which, including with the participation of foreign students from universities - partners of NIIGAiK–SSGA–SSUGT, was associated with the pas-sage of summer practices for students of 1–3 courses at the university training ground near the village of Izdrevaya.

The technique of geospatial modeling of pipeline systems, which is discussed in the article, is designed to use satellite survey data for calibration of a linear referencing system (LRS). It is proposed to use satellite images to determine the planned position of pipeline objects, which can act as calibration points. The article considers the features of using space images to determine the planned position of pipeline objects that can act as calibration points are considered. The technique of geospatial modeling of pipeline systems based on the use of LRS is based on the data of in-line inspections (ILI) in the formation and updating of geospatial models of pipeline systems. The use of such a technique makes it possible to independently detect pipeline defects by means of ILI and perform their localization in the geoinformation space with the help of LRS. The use of space-based images to increase the calibration points of the LRS makes it possible to significantly increase the accuracy of the position of defects in space. The novelty of the work lies in the refinement of the geopositioning of pipeline infrastructure objects by using linear coordinate systems in conjunction with space images, which was not proposed in previously published papers on this topic.

The presented material is a continuation of the article on the concept of Unified Geoinformation Center (UGS) infrastructure, revealing the architecture of the information system model implementing the network-centric approach as the main aspect – the principle of interoperability. The network-centric approach in building the information system of UGS is embodied in the union of all objects of the sys-tem, both within and outside the perimeter in a single information space (network-centric environment), and interoperability is ensured by the proposed interaction technology based on the advanced message queuing protocol – AMQP, which provides for all objects of the network-centric environment the possibility of free mutual exchange of information, regardless of the functions they perform and their internal structure. On this basis, the scheme of the architecture of the information system of the unified geoinformation center of the forestry, with components both in its perimeter and outside it, is proposed.

The article considers the problems of some methodological support of judicial land management ex-pertise, including the study and the complexity of its interpretation as a real estate object and as a territory question; it discusses the lack of the unified methods both for main types of research and unique ones. This gives rise to a decrease in the quality of land management expertise. The issue of the need to create a methodology for the development of author's research methods for unique studies and the develop-ment of methods for typical situations is highlighted. The question is raised about the verification of the study results and the possibility of checking the results both by a wide range of people and by persons with special knowledge. The need to approve verification methods is indicated. The article describes one of the options for solving data verification issues in the area of information support for judicial land management expertise, that is, generalization in the information of the Unified State Register of Real Estate data, information about which is necessary in most expertise.

Efficient land use is a key condition for sustainable development of the society. Its implementation involves the coordination of various resources in the economy, ecology, social sphere, technology, and law. The development of efficient land use methodology is based on the use of a multi-factor ap-proach covering tight interdisciplinary collaboration, which results in the search for an integral indicator that generally reflects the efficiency of land use; calculation of private indicators, whose values give a picture of the current state of land use in the relevant institutional environment. The article highlights the main unsolved land use issues in Russia. The authors emphasize the role of the state and the legal framework in the land regulation, a differentiated approach to the subjects, the specific features of the economic model ensuring the efficient land use.

The article is devoted to the study of the features of diversion strip formation for the placement of objects of road transport. It formulates the procedure of land allocation for the construction of linear objects, and also identifies the main problems which the designers encounter in the preparation of a land-surveying project and cadastral engineers in the preparation of delimitation plans for the formation of land plots under the road for their submission to the State cadastral registration. The article identifies possibilities of application of artificial intelligence methods for simplification of work of specialists, reduction of time for one object design (in particular, it is proposed to use computer vision for design of road diversion lane), and also establishes the most correct methods of intellectual analysis of the territory when allocating land for the construction of linear objects. The proposed methods allow to reduce the time of specialists, decrease the number of repetitive operations and minimize the number of random errors in the construction and formation of land sections for road transport objects.

The review of the current state of the Afghanistan state coordinate framework, created by both ground and satellite methods, is carried out. It is outlined that when developing the geodetic network of Afghanistan, it is useful to use the experience existing in other countries, but taking into account the territorial characteristics of the state. The basic development directions of the state coordinate framework are formulated: the choice of the state coordinate system and its implementation, the creation of geodynamic polygons, the installation of continuously operating reference stations (CORS) of GNSS. It is recommended to use high-precision differential correction services in inaccessible areas to determine coordinates using GNSS methods. Based on the proposals formulated, it will be possible to create a highly accurate sustainable and developing state geodetic network on the territory of Afghanistan to perform topographic and geodetic works for various purposes, geospatial monitoring, mapping, geodynamic research.

In the process of cadastre maintenance there appear errors of different kinds. Besides, there occur errors in data of previously registered land plots, which causes suspension of cadastral registration, thus, prolongs the cadastre and right registration terms. So, a submitter does not get on time the required document, which affirms their right for an object. In this case the tax collection is not carried out properly, which reduces the efficiency of the cadastral system. The article describes the problems occurring when register errors appear, gives recommendations for their correction in both judicial and non-judicial order. The article substantiates the negative impact of register errors on the rights of individuals and legal entities, who previously registered real estate. The article offers the recommendations for mitigating the impact of these errors on the rights of individuals and legal entities who own real estate.
