Anxiety is one of the most common psychological problems experienced by everyone. The novel Kasrimpet Piweling and Puspita Rinengga by Tulus Setiyadi is one of the literary works that raises the issue of anxiety for its characters. Therefore, this research will discuss the anxiety of the main character in the novels Kasrimpet Piweling and Puspita Rinengga by Tulus Setiyadi using the psychoanalytic view proposed by Sigmund Freud. This research aims to explain the anxiety experienced by the main character in both novels. The theory used in this research is Sigmund Freud's psychoanalysis theory. Data collection with literature study method using library techniques, reading, recording and classification. Data analysis is done by looking at the personality structure, anxiety and ego defense mechanisms used by the characters. This type of research is literary research using descriptive method. The research data are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences, narration from the narrator, characters' speech, and characters' actions related to ego defense mechanisms in Kasrimpet Piweling and Puspita Rinengga novels. The data collection techniques in this research are as follows: (1) conducting a literature study, (2) reading and understanding the novel, (3) marking the parts of the novel that indicate id, ego, and super ego (4) identifying the main characters and additional characters in the novel, (5) recording the data in the novel.

This study aims to examine the importance of integrating the traditional Islamic texts known as kitab kuning into the Islamic education curriculum at Ma'had Aly Imam Bukhari. Kitab kuning, which covers fundamental Islamic sciences, is considered essential for providing students with a solid understanding of Islam. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis of the curriculum and teaching activities at Ma'had Aly Imam Bukhari. The findings indicate that kitab kuning forms the core of the educational curriculum at Ma'had Aly Imam Bukhari. Texts such as "Bidayatul Mujtahid" in the study of jurisprudence, "At-Tauhid" in the study of monotheism, "Qawa'idu Ushul wa Ma'aqidul Fushul" in the principles of Islamic jurisprudence, and "Al-Ilmam Bi Ba'dhi Ayatil Ahkam" in the exegesis of legal verses of the Quran are integral parts of the teaching. Additionally, "Bulughul Maram" in the study of hadith, "Qathrun Nada" in Arabic grammar, and "Tashilul Faraidh" in the study of Islamic inheritance law are also taught with comprehensive explanations from the instructors. In conclusion, the integration of kitab kuning into the Islamic education curriculum at Ma'had Aly Imam Bukhari has successfully strengthened the academic foundation and Islamic character of the students. The teaching of kitab kuning not only enhances the quality of Islamic education but also ensures that the authentic Islamic scholarly tradition remains preserved and relevant in the modern context. This study underscores the importance of kitab kuning as a primary source of Islamic knowledge and a crucial criterion for assessing the competence of an Islamic scholar or cleric.

The progress of the education sector in the modern 5.0 era presents significant challenges and opportunities. This article reviews the positive and negative impacts of technology on 21st-century education and efforts to optimize its usage. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, involving the exploration of learning and educational technology definitions and the analysis of technology's impact on 21st-century learning. Research findings indicate that technology facilitates information access, creates new learning methods, and enhances data processing efficiency. However, there are also negative impacts such as dependence on technology, cybercrime risks, and a decline in ethics and social interaction. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of collaboration among educational institutions, technology industries, and governments to strengthen technological literacy, develop competency-based curricula, ensure adequate infrastructure, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of technology-based learning. Recommendations for optimizing technology in 21st-century education include training for educators and learners, parental supervision reinforcement, promotion of interdisciplinary learning, and regular updates in teaching methods. With this approach, educational institutions are expected to be more effective in addressing challenges and leveraging opportunities offered by the 21st-century education era, thus preparing a generation ready to compete on the global stage.

This research aims to investigate the process of religious conversion and the factors that influence it. Religious conversion is a complex phenomenon involving fundamental changes in an individual's beliefs and identity. Through a qualitative approach, a literature review explores the causes, processes and factors that influence religious conversion. Data analysis was carried out using thematic methods. Research findings show that the religious conversion process involves stages such as search, consideration, religious experience, and decision making. Factors influencing religious conversion include social environmental influences, personal experiences, spiritual crises, search for meaning in life, and external factors such as mixed marriages or exposure to new cultures. The implications of this research can help our understanding of the dynamics of religious conversion and provide insight into intervention and guidance efforts in the context of religious diversity in society.

An analysis of the behavior of children in a twofa orphanage related to engagement in learning activities and talent expression. Through observation and interview methods, internal and external factors such as reinforcement and punishment influence children's level of engagement. Positive stimuli such as appreciation encourage active participation, while negative stimuli such as prohibition from playing games provide motivation for behavior change. The results showed the effectiveness of applying reinforcement and punishment in changing children's behavior to become more active and expressive. In conclusion, this approach has an important role in shaping the character of children in orphanages, encouraging engagement in learning, and talent development.

Gestalt counseling teaches that individuals are wholes greater than the sum of their parts. In the context of self-confidence, this means recognizing and embracing all aspects of oneself, both positive and negative, as integral parts of their being. This study aims to examine the application of the empty chair technique in Gestalt counseling to enhance students' self-confidence. Gestalt counseling is an approach that emphasizes present awareness and the individual's relationship with their environment. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, using relevant literature sources as primary data, such as research findings, research reports, and scientific journals. After gathering the data sources, a content analysis of the literature review was conducted. The results of this study indicate that the empty chair technique in Gestalt counseling is effective in improving students' self-confidence. The empty chair technique helps enhance interpersonal communication skills and reduce negative behaviors. Although Gestalt counseling has advantages in increasing self-awareness and self-confidence, it also has drawbacks such as a lack of structure in counseling sessions and unsuitability for all types of issues or client conditions.

The purpose of this research is to understand the teacher recruitment process at SMPN 47 Surabaya and its impact on improving the quality of education at SMPN 47 Surabaya. This type of research is using descriptive qualitative research, which is a research procedure carried out by producing descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from someone who is observed. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the implementation of the recruitment of teaching staff (teachers) in SMPN 47 Surabaya is carried out or submitted to the education office, where each level of education such as elementary, junior high, state high school will be submitted to the education office. Recruitment of teaching staff (Teachers) before being submitted to the education office, the first stage carried out by the school is to analyze the needs required. After analyzing the school will report the shortage of educators to the education office, and then the education office will conduct selections such as PNS tests, or PPPK tests. The test aims to get employees who have certain technical competencies and are professionally certified in order to improve the quality of education.

This study aims to explore and understand theoretically and philosophically about the role of guidance and counseling teachers in the 21st century through group guidance services that can increase independence in making career choices. We have used qualitative methods of literature study in conducting this research. Educational psychology is an important foundation in curriculum development and understanding student character. The Qur'an plays a central role in the perspective of Islamic education, emphasizing the concepts of extraordinary life. Islamic psychology enriches the view of psychology with religious values. Human beings in the Islamic view have unique potentials and special traits, such as learning abilities and good and bad tendencies. The Qur'an encourages people to make use of reason and go through the learning process, paying attention to the ethics of students towards teachers. The verses of the Qur'an reveal the motivation for learning through requests, commands, exhortations, and threats. It includes intrinsic drives such as curiosity and learning tendencies as well as extrinsic drives such as rewards and commands. The harmony between material and spiritual aspects is important in overcoming internal conflicts, while the positive human potential is often emphasized in the hope for change for the better. The Qur'an also describes man's psychological struggle between conflicting traits such as lust and spiritual instinct. By combining psychological views and religious teachings, this approach provides a rich foundation for human self-understanding and development in the context of education and life.

Education continues to experience dynamic development and is related to both philosophical and practical aspects, so that education will continue to experience development and re-deconstruction, in accordance with these fundamental needs and values required. This article aims to try to explore various possibilities that will occur in the future, with the philosophical value of futuristic pedagogy which contains aspects whose urgency does not contradict the needs that students must have in the future. In addition, the curriculum initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture is related to the independent curriculum, which has the feel of freedom for students and teachers, for teachers as providers of learning materials or for students as recipients of learning. The problem that occurs in education today, there are many students who fall into the snare of disorientation, so that many students do not have and optimize what are the advantages and talents they have, education that does not optimize and develop the fundamental aspects possessed by students will not able to make students survive in the future, with increasingly complicated problems. Therefore, the presence of futuristic pedagogy can be realized in an educational climate and not become an ivory tower concept.
