Simply put, money laundering is the criminal act of transforming the proceeds of crimes, or what is known as "dirty money," such as money obtained through smuggling, gambling, tax evasion, drug sales, or corruption, into a form that seems safe and legal for use. Both a conceptual and legislative approach are used in this normative research. Legal approach by examining Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes and Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Eradication of Money Laundering Crimes. The practice of seizing property used in illicit conduct with the goal of returning it is known as asset confiscation. The meaning of the term confiscation is connected to confiscation which is commonly used in the asset confiscation system for the purpose of returning asset recovery as used in UNCAC 2003

Rice serves as the primary commodity in the staple food supply in Asia, with Indonesia being the number one consumer of rice in Southeast Asia. Despite having the largest land area in Southeast Asia and being located on the equator, which provides favorable conditions for agriculture, Indonesia, particularly, imports rice from Thailand. The national agricultural sector in Indonesia has proven to be significant, but the country is considered lagging behind Thailand in terms of rice commodities. From an economic perspective, rice remains a strategic commodity, both for food security and the agricultural sector, especially for farmers. This article employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on the land area, the existence of agricultural banks, fair pricing, farming orientation, modernization of agricultural tools, and government policies. The research findings emphasize the need for the development of new rice varieties to address climate change and increase resistance to pests. It also stresses the importance of accurate fertilizer subsidies, vigilance regarding global food crises due to conflicts in Russia-Ukraine and the Middle East, and anticipated climate change impacts. Indonesia must play a role in future rice exports, considering the high agricultural potential in the country

This study aims to understand: (1) forms of speech delay (2) internal and external factors that affect speech delay, (3) indicators that affect child development (4) procedures for handling speech delay. In order to be able to reveal the phenomena that occur in the community, researchers used the Multisite Study research design where data collection in this study used descriptive qualitative methods with interview, observation and documentation techniques. The researchers conducted interviews with subject parents/teachers in class. Observations researchers do by observing the subject while in the school environment and also at home. Meanwhile, in order for the findings that the researchers carried out to be declared valid, the validity of the data used (1) observation persistence, (2) triangulation, and (3) reference adequacy. The results of the study show that children who experience speech delay or are late in speaking are more dominant due to wrong parenting and a lack of educational/parenting knowledge for parents starting from pregnancy until the child is born. Excessive giving of gadgets makes children less able to carry out 2-way interactions so that it affects children's language development which causes children's communication and behavior to deviate

This research focuses on the implementation of the 5C principle of Islamic banking in the perspective of the Qur'an as one of the strengthening of the Islamic banking financial sector. The main problems raised are how the implementation of the 5C principle of financing in Islamic banking and how the implementation of the 5C principle in the perspective of the Qur'an. The method used in this research uses a mix method, namely library research and field research, namely research conducted through literature studies and sourced from various literature, tafsir, al- Qur'an, journals, as well as data taken from the field directly through interviews and data regarding the implementation of the 5C principle of financing at Bank Syariah Indonesia. By using a normative approach, namely analysing the implementation of the 5C principle in Islamic banking in accordance with the rules or norms in the Qur'an. The results of this study found that the implementation of the 5C principle in Islamic banking is no longer conceptualised as 5C namely character, capacity, capital, condition, and collateral but has been conceptualised into 5B namely mandate, knowledge, work, pious deeds, and borg / guarantee). The application of the 5B principle will be very good if implemented in accordance with the instructions in the Qur'an, especially in sharia-based banking. So that banking is not only labelled sharia, but also in terms and implementation has fulfilled the requirements of sharia, which has implications for the welfare of the world and the hereafter

Micro finance institutions play a significant role in economic development of India. Such institutions provide financial access to lower income people. These institutions are very helpful for poor people who lack access of banking services. Micro finance institutions provide a large variety of financial and non-financial services to people including credit, counseling, and training. Such institutions are necessary to achieve rural development, financial inclusion and women empowerment. Today micro finance institutions are faced many problems. Problems of non-performing assets are considered as a big challenge for micro finance institutions. Financial illiteracy, lack of speedy generation of funds, lack of proper infrastructure, political interference and competition are the other challenges faced by micro finance institutions. This chapter made an attempt to analyze the problems faced by micro finance institutions and understand the role of micro finance in rural development

There is limited information regarding serodiscordancy. HIV-serodiscordant couples face challenges in their relationships, this is likely to threaten their relationship’s and they need psychosocial support from various sources to strengthen their quality of life and well-being. The study seeks to explore the voices and choices from HIV-serodiscordant heterosexual couples. This was a qualitative study, and thirteen (13) participants were purposively sampled. Data was collected using semi-structure interview guide and all interviews were held face-to-face at the hospital with participants and data was thematically analysed. The main overarching themes emerged from the qualitative included the following: perceptions regarding the limited knowledge on discordant couples, the importance of providing psychosocial to discordant couples, challenges facing discordant couples in relationships, and couple’s sexual and reproductive needs. The results suggests that there is limited knowledge and education on discordancy. There is need for discordant couple’s services and programmes that should be streamed lined to provide comprehensive and sufficient psychosocial support, mitigate challenges faced by discordant couples and promote couples sexual and reproductive health via the safer conception services ensuring reduction of HIV risk practices behaviours among the couples

Currently, the development of science and technology continues to develop in all fields, such as vehicle construction, building construction, industry, and also the field of materials engineering, especially composites. Composite materials generally consist of two elements, namely fibers as a filler and a binding material for these fibers which is called a matrix. In composites, the main element is fiber, while the binding material uses polymer material which is easy to form and has high binding power. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of straw fiber length oriented at 0° and 90° angles in polyester matrix composites on tensile and bending strength. The influence of straw fiber length provides a value for maximum tensile strength with a value of 28.604 Mpa with a fiber length of 15 mm and an angle of 0°. Meanwhile, the angle direction of 900 has a greater value at a fiber length of 10 mm, amounting to 19.619 MPa. The influence of straw fiber length provides a value for maximum bending strength with a value of 86.29 MPa with a fiber length of 10 mm and an angle of 0°. Meanwhile, the maximum tensile strength value at an angle of 900 with a fiber length of 15 mm is 40.02 MPa

Dividend policy is a company's decision regarding whether profits earned will be distributed to investors as dividends or kept as retained earnings to fund future company investments. Factors that influence dividend policy can be internal and external factors of the company.
