This paper describes the participation of women researchers in higher education in Ecuador at the Catholic University of Cuenca. A three-step process was applied; the first a desk research of research processes and products; the second, design, validation and application of a qualitative instrument; and the third, design and application of a contrasting interview with senior management.

In the contemporary era, digital literacy has become an unavoidable imperative, with university students as part of the generation that has grown up immersed in the digital world. The objective was to analyze the culture of digital literacy in students. A descriptive, observational and transversal study was followed, the sample was 320 students, resulting in the attitude in relation to w technologies being good due to the familiarity of their use. The use of ICT represents invaluable support for students by facilitating their research in the scientific and medical field.

Overweight and obesity, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), are defined as an abnormal or excessive accumulation of fat that can harm health. The body mass index (BMI) is a simple index that Commonly used to classify overweight and obesity in adults. Overweight is a BMI greater than or equal to 25 and obesity is a BMI greater than or equal to 30; Mexicans face a high risk of cardiovascular diseases due to a high prevalence of risk factors such as obesity, due to their unhealthy lifestyles.

The aim of this study was to adapt and validate the results of the Battery of Instruments for the Evaluation of Psychosocial Risk Factors developed by the Ministry of Social Protection of Colombia in 2010 for workers in Ecuador. An instrumental study was conducted with 3172 workers, and the psychometric properties were analyzed using expert criteria, construct validity analysis using exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis using internal consistency with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient.

The present study was born due to the problem arising from the absence of digitalization of the processes for administrative attention to the user with respect to the poor service received by the servers of the state institutions, especially the local governments of Lambayeque, thinking about that need. The objective was to analyze the investigations that are related to virtual attention that is adequate for users of local governments, to achieve the objective, the methodology of the quantitative approach was followed, transactional and descriptive non-experimental design, various research, in relation to research variables.

Food biotechnology, a revolutionary discipline, has transformed the way we produce, process and consume our food. It has enabled the development of new methods of crop genetic improvement, the creation of functional foods with health benefits, and the optimization of fermentation and food production processes. It has also provided innovative solutions to address the global challenges of food security and sustainability, while opening up new possibilities for nutrition and human health.

The work included a cross-sectional quantitative study aimed at evaluating the incidence of competencies, skills and digital literacy in complex thinking in a sample of 238 students of various cycles of the engineering specialty at a university in Lima. Four instruments were applied and submitted to the judgment of five experts. The digital literacy questionnaire was made and validated by exploratory factor analysis (Aiken's V: 1.0, KMO test: 0.552, Cronbach's alpha: 0.946). The instruments on digital competencies and skills and complex thinking were adapted and validated by Cronbach's alpha (values 0.965, 0.814 and 0.941 respectively).

This article performs the review and bibliometric analysis of the scientific production of Scopus on photothermal and photovoltaic energies in biodiversity conservation for three search categories: renewable energies, photothermal and photovoltaic solar energy, and biodiversity conservation with renewable energies. Vosviewer bibliometric analysis software was used, for the period from 2019 to 2023.It was established that the co-authored countries with the most publications on renewable energy topics are: China, United States, Spain and France.
