In this paper, the diagnosis of faults in squirrel cage asynchronous motor and experimental analysis process are presented. Currently there are several simulation tools, that lets users analyze and interpret the behavior of their devices. Based on this, there is a lot of researches that is working on developing models, to detect and classify 3-phase asynchronous motor faults, significantly in the early stages. This work proposed design and experimental analysis established in Comsol Multiphysics 6.0 , which implements finite element analysis software (FEM) for detecting and diagnosing broken bar rotors of this types motors and its practical application. In this case, the post processor of the COMSOL-Multiphysics makes it possible to visualize in 2D the various magnetic and mechanical quantities. Through the curves of the magnetic flux density and analysis distribution of the field with magnetic induction lines, we can draw some conclusions, where we proposed an strategy, for detecting and diagnosing faults consistent with the structure of the software.

The vibration signal is one of the most essential diagnostic signals, the analysis of which allows for determining the dynamic state of the monitored machine set. In the era of cyber-physical industrial systems, making diagnostic decisions involves the study of large databases from previous registers and data downloaded from machines in real-time. However, the recorded signals mainly concern the operational status of the monitored object. Insufficient training data regarding failure states hinders the operation of classification algorithms. Progress in machine learning has created a new avenue for the advancement of diagnostic methods based on models. These methods now have the capability to produce signals through random sampling from a hidden space or generate fresh instances of input data from noise. The article suggests the use of a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) model as a tool to create synthetic measurement observations for vibration monitoring. The effectiveness of the synthetic data generation algorithm was verified on the example of the vibration signal recorded during tests of the drive system of a motor vehicle.

The article deals with ball-type safety-overrunning clutches' elastic characteristics in overload mode. Main semi-couplings geometric parameters, particularly ball stroke and semi-couplings twisted angles, affecting operation speed and clutch elastic torque considered and obtained expressions for this parameters determination. Main clutch parts force interaction features in the final overload operation period analyzed and ratios for the clutch final period load are obtained. Based on current and previous studies, the expressions for elastic torque in the overload operation period are estimated. Obtained results could become the tool for the dynamics analysis of studied clutch-equipped driving operation during the clutch reengagement in overload mode. It is shown the expedience of using in high-speed driving clutches with large values of grooves to clutch axis inclination angle to decrease dynamic loads in driving, because in little and middle angles values provide nosedive dropping of final stage torque which can become a source of intense oscillations in the driving equipped with clutch in overload mode.

Objectives was to determine the durability of pins and sleeves used in the construction of a cycloidal gear. The methods used were based on a comparative analysis of selected macro photos of their surfaces and representative surface profiles recorded before and after the bench tests and the Ra and Rz surface roughness values determined on their basis. Before and after the bench tests, the weight of each sleeve and pin was measured, their surface profiles were recorded and micro photos of these surfaces were taken. Based on each recorded surface profile, the roughness parameters Ra and Rz were determined. The advantages of using steel sleeves in the cycloidal drive structure, increasing its durability, have been demonstrated by the low mass wear of the sleeves and the low surface roughness parameters Ra and Rz. It was shown that the appropriate accuracy of the pins and sleeves is necessary.

The use of multicellular topology in power quality enhancement can reduce the power loss and also dv/dt of power switches, minimize the electromagnetic interference. However, the failure of flying capacitors can reduce the active filtering efficiency and affect the power quality by injecting currents with wave-form distortion (harmonics, notching, noises etc.) in power distribution grid. Therefore, this study presents a fault-tolerant control strategy (FTC) allowing to keep the normal operation conditions of a multicellular converter even under failure mode. The obtained results show that the proposed FTC strategy enhances the power quality of power distribution grid when a fault in flying capacitors occurs.

The integration of an electric vehicle (EV) charging station into the DC-microgrid requires management control of the energy supply and the voltage variation. The hybrid energy sources of the microgrid consist of battery storage, wind energy, and photovoltaic (PV) energy sources. To optimize power generation from renewable energy sources such as wind and PV, the source-side converters (SSCs) are regulated by the leading edge intelligent PID technique. This strategy enhances the quality of power delivered to the DC-microgrid. The microgrid comprises AC/DC loads, battery storage, EV charging stations, backup power from the main grid, and renewable energy supplies comprising wind and solar energy. The proposed control system relies on monitoring the state of charge of the battery and utilizing renewable energy sources to supply loads efficiently. The final results of the simulation obtained from the simulation software MATLAB and Simulink are used to validate the effectiveness of the suggested energy control technique, which performs well in terms of accurate control and maintaining a stable energy supply even under various load and weather conditions.

Location tracking stands for technologies that physically identify and electronically register and monitor the tracking of individuals or objects. This technology is widely implemented in the health field for tracking clinicians and patient locations. The history of visited location data is used for many purposes and is mainly applied to monitor and assess the patient’s movement to provide helpful knowledge. This data is obtained using the Global positioning system (GPS), Bluetooth, and Radio-frequency identification (RFID) built into the device such as smartphones, smart watches, or wearable devices. In some Research, other technologies like Google Location History (GLH) provide the history of visited locations made by the Google Account. Location tracking can be an alternative and potentially help monitor and track Covid-19 infectee to prevent wider diffusion. This paper reviews location tracking applications in healthcare based on how the location data is obtained and analyzed. The application of location tracking was differentiated and reviewed based on the applied methods in acquiring knowledgeable data. Furthermore, the data analysis used to track location was also discussed to know what knowledge that obtained from the location history data. Getting the location and assessing the data for specific purposes was also highlighted.
