Objective: This study; It was carried out to determine the effect of increasing nitrogen doses on herbal, yield and quality characteristics of black cumin. Material and Methods: In this study; Kahramanmaras Sütcü Imam University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Field Crops Research and Application land was carried out in 2017-2018 winter growing season. The study was conducted with three replications according to randomized block design. The seven different nitrogen doses (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 kg/da) and Nigella sativa species were used. This study, some features related to plant, yield and quality were investigated during field trial and post harvest. Results: As a result of the measurements taken at different nitrogen doses; plant height 33.76-76.83 cm, height of the first branch 13.10-20.60 cm, height of the first capsule 19.76-29.40 cm, the number of branches 5.43-12.43 piece/plant, number of capsules 9.70-25.76 piece/plant, the number of seeds in the capsule 110.70-126.73 piece/capsule, thousand grain weight 2.40-2.47 g, seed yield 103.97-165.00 kg/da, fixed oil yield was 24.73-38.53%, fixed oil rate was 21.8322.83%, essential oil ratio was 0.60-0.84%, protein content was found to be 16.26-18.69%. Conclusion: According to the results of the research, the effect of nitrogen doses on plant height, number of branches, seed yield, fixed oil yield and essential oil ratio were found to be significant. Amac: Kentler, dogal (mavi ve yesil) ve insan yapimi (gri) unsurlardan meydana gelen dinamik bir yapiya sahiptir. Zamanla biriken bu unsurlar, kentsel formu sekillendirmekte ve bireylerin davranislarini etkilemektedir. Yogunlugun artmasi ve plansiz kentlesme ile mavi, yesil ve gri unsurlar arasinda etkilesim azalmaktadir. Bu baglamda makalenin amaci, kentsel su yonetimi surecinde su ayak izi ve mavi-yesil altyapi yaklasimlarinin makro ve mikro olcekte kentsel gelisim stratejilerinin onemli bir parcasi oldugunu vurgulamaktir. Materyal ve Yontem: Bu calisma literatur taramasi yontemine dayanmakta olup, calismada su ayak izi ve mavi-yesil altyapi yaklasimlari kuramsal bir cerceve kapsaminda sunulmakta ve kentsel su yonetiminde arac olarak bu yaklasimlarin rolleri ele alinmaktadir. Sonuc: Su ayak izi ve mavi-yesil altyapi yaklasimlarinin ortak amaci su kalitesini iyilestirmek ve yonetmektir. Tum bu surecte kentsel su yonetiminde su ayak izi ve mavi-yesil altyapi yaklasimlarinin makro ve mikro olcekte kentsel gelisim stratejilerinin onemli bir parcasi oldugu soylenebilir. Calismada bu yaklasimlarin kentsel su yonetiminde arac olarak kullaniminin onemi var olan ornek calismalar ve stratejiler uzerinden ortaya konulmaktadir.

Objective: In this study, it is aimed to determine the change in yield and head quality properties of canned artichoke plants obtained from seed-produced seedlings for 5 years. Material and Methods: Emerald F1 artichoke variety (heart artichoke) was used in the study. The study was conducted in the field of research in the E. U. Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture. The research was contucted as randomized complete desing with three replicates. Seedlings were transplanted 100*100 cm row in distance at the begining of August which this type of transplanting is proper for drip irrigation system. In the artichoke, which is a perennial vegetable type, the change in yield and quality characteristics has been examined during 5 production periods. Results: As a result of the study, the highest number of heads (216.660 units/ha) and head yield (11.040 kg/ha) were obtained from second production year. On the other hand, the lowest number of heads (36.000 units/ha) and head yield (1600 kg/ha) were obtained from first production season. The highest early yield (32 piece/heads) and early yield (26.68 kg/heads) were determined in the fourth production year. Similarly, the highest values in terms of average head weight (45.37 g), head diameter (4.62 cm), head height (5.29 cm) and peeled head weight (28.45 g) were obtained from the fourth production year. The lowest values in terms of these features were determined in the fifth production season. Conclusion: As a result, it was revealed that the maximum head yield was reached in the 2nd production season, and the head yield decreased proportionally after the second year. It was determined that the properties in the first 3 years of production are compatible with the main features suitable for canning processing.

Elde edilen verilerden yararlanilarak metabolik enerji (ME) icerikleri hesaplanmistir. Bulgular: Ham protein (HP) iceriklerinin kinoada %14.04-15.38, chiada %19.90-21.73, teffde %11.98, mas fasulyesinde %25.20 ve karabugdayda %13.72 oldugu bulunmustur. Ham yag (HY) icerikleri ise sirasiyla %7.13-7.97, %30.84-35.75, %2.46, % 3.48 ve %5.25 olarak belirlenmistir. En yuksek linolenik asit chiada (%60.71-66.17) belirlenmistir. ECOM icerigi beyaz kinoa, mas fasulyesi ve karabugdayda yuksek bulunmustur. Oysa in vitro ME icerikleri en yuksek chiada belirlenmistir. Sonuc: Kinoa, ruminantlarin enerji gereksiniminin yuksek oldugu erken laktasyon doneminde ya da beside enerji kaynagi olarak geleneksel tahillara alternatif olma potansiyeli vardir. Chianin ozellikle sut sigirlarinda sicaklik stresini onlemede etkili olabilme potansiyeli yuksektir. Chia yaginin linolenik asit iceriginin yuksek olmasi, sut yaginin coklu doymamis yag asitlerinden biri olan konjuge linolenik asitce zenginlesmesine olanak saglayabilir. Teff ve karabugday tahillara, mas fasulyesi ise mineralce zengin olmasinin yanisira HP iceriginin yuksek olmasindan dolayi, ozellikle son yillarda yeni protein kaynaklari arayisina giren ureticilere onemli bir alternatif olusturacagi ortaya konulmustur.

Amac: Bu calismada, kuluckadan cikan civcivlere ilk 24 veya 48 saatlik periyotta simbiyotik ilaveli civciv mamasi (SCM) (sulandirilmis besin takviyesi) uygulamasinin performans, kesim ozellikleri, besin madde sindirilebilirligi ve bagisiklik sistemi uzerine etkileri incelenmistir. Materyal ve Yontem: Toplam 64 adet gunluk erkek ve disi etlik civciv (Ross 308) kullanilmistir. Civcivler rastgele 4 deneme grubuna (8 erkek+8 disi/grup) ayrilmistir. Bunlar; Grup 1: ilk 24 saat civcivlere yem ve icme suyu verilmemistir, Grup 2: ilk 24 saat civcivler yalnizca SCM ile beslenmistir, Grup 3: ilk 48 saat civcivlere yem ve icme suyu verilmemistir ve Grup 4: ilk 48 saat civcivler yalnizca SCM ile beslenmistir. Bulgular: SCM uygulamasi kesim canli agirligi, yem tuketimi ve yemden yararlanma oranini etkilememistir. Aclik suresi uzadiginda karin ici yagi miktari ve nispi agirligi azalmistir, ancak SCM uygulamasi bu ozellikleri etkilememistir. Ilk 24 ve 48 saat SCM kullanilan gruplarda (2 ve 4) sirasiyla taslik ve bezel mide nispi agirliklari artmistir.
