Avaliação acústica de um cânion urbano 城市峡谷的声学评估

O planejamento acústico de áreas urbanas, apesar de impactar significativamente a saúde da população, ainda não recebe atenção suficiente. As ruas-cânion trazem preocupações pois se trata de uma configuração morfológica em que a verticalização dos edifícios enfileirados ao longo de ambos os lados pode inibir o espraiamento dos raios sonoros. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar as condições acústicas de um cânion urbano. Medições in loco durante a semana e finais de semana, nos períodos da tarde e noite, foram realizadas e comparadas em duas ruas na cidade de Petrópolis - RJ: a rua-cânion 16 de Março e a larga rua do Imperador. Os resultados indicaram que nenhum dos pontos de medição apresentaram níveis de pressão sonora dentro dos limites indicados por normativa nacional, demonstrando que o nível de ruído no meio urbano em Petrópolis é excessivo. Na rua-cânion, embora prioritariamente para pedestre, a alta verticalização possivelmente resultou em múltiplas reflexões sonoras entre fachadas, limitando o espraiamento dos raios e contribuindo para o aumento dos níveis sonoros. Assim, apesar das distintas relações de altura e largura das ruas e das diferenças em relação à geometria das edificações, os usos e fluxos foram determinantes nas diferenças de ruído entre as ruas.

Some sulphur - containing double combination reagents 某些含硫双联试剂

Research and development of new reagents are very important for organic synthesis. In recent years, some new reagents with universal applicability have been reported, but new reagents of sulphur-containing are rarely reported. Wang’s group has developed several new sulphur-containing reagents which are called as Wang reagents: Sodium dithionite - tert-Butyl hydroperoxide (Na2S2O4-TBHP). The paper presents the reactions involved in the reagents obtaining and the associated mechanisms. Na2S2O4-TBHP is a new reagent for selective oxidation of aromatic alcohols to aldehydes. Wang reagents have universal applicability in organic synthesis.

Stress state in perforated discs 穿孔圆盘的应力状态

The paper investigates the stress state in perforated discs by circular holes. Circular discs are subjected to two types of loadings: diametrical compression by concentrated forces and radial compression produced by an equivalent uniformly distributed load on the contour of the discs. The discs of radius 150 mm are perforated with two, four or 96 holes, of different radii between 1 mm and 50 mm or maximum possible. The stress distribution in the discs is studied according to the value of the radii of the holes and the distance between them. The stress concentration factors and their variation for the geometrical parameters of the concentrators are determined. The finite element method was used, which allows the modeling of the structure so that it is as close as possible to the real situation of the geometry and the way of application of the load.

Performance improvement in computing the L-infinity norm of descriptor systems 提高计算描述符系统 L-无限规范的性能

"Efficient and realible algorithms for finding the L-infinity norm for both continuous- and discrete-time descriptor systems have been recently developed. These algorithms exploit the underlying Hamiltonian or symplectic structure of the computational problem. The solver incorporating these advances has been extensively tested on large sets of control applications. Numerical results and comparisons illustrated the good performance and effectiveness of this solver. However, further investigations have shown that the performance can still be improved. The refinements performed include a better selection of the test frequencies used to find a lower bound for the L-infinity norm and of the tolerances for detecting the poles lying on the boundary of the stability domain, a better use of the computer memory hierarchy, an optimal workspace for computations, etc. Such refinements allowed not only to reduce the computing time, but also to improve the accuracy and reliability of the results. "

Passing the systems among levels of quantum reality 在量子现实的各个层面之间传递系统

The visible reality at a given moment is a result of the modification of the quantum states of the observables of some systems from another level of quantum reality. The projection towards the new reality is done by collapsing some states described by simple wave functions or resulting from quantum superpositions. Collapses are also achieved through measurements of observables, influencing quantum phenomena, bringing some phenomena to another level of reality. These can pass from a higher level of quantum reality to another level, effectively measuring certain observables, but also through discoveries, studies, identifying the dynamics of the supply-demand balance from the "cloud" of the market's equilibrium points, the realization of new products or services, etc. That is, the still invisible objects will become visible by extracting them from the original quantum reality with the help of projectors, through collapses. The quantum state of the systems also changes through decoherence, through the interaction with the surrounding environment. In the following, some directions are suggested for the development of models for unitary treatment of objects from different levels of reality.

Research on the study of frontal collision between a vehicle and a fixed rigid barrier 关于车辆与固定刚性壁障之间正面碰撞的研究

The paper presents a part of the research conducted in order to establish a methodology for studying the frontal collision for a particular case. Thus, an experimental test methodology was developed considering a frontal collision between a vehicle and a fixed, rigid barrier. Two anthropometric testing devices (ATDs) were placed in the vehicle (one in the driver seat and the other one in the back seat), in order to evaluate the kinematic and dynamic parameters that characterize the occupants’ behaviour in such collision. Based on the vehicle's final position after the collision, a computational simulation was performed using the PC-Crash software program. The obtained results were then compared with the data provided by the video recording of the experimental testing, in order to validate the computational simulation as a method for reconstructing road vehicle accidents

"The paper presents the calculation of the carrier cable of the gravity transport installations taking into account not only the gravity loads, but also the loads produced by the action of the wind. It is considered that the action of the wind acts according to some direction, in any case that it has a lateral component that removes the cable from the equilibrium position located in the vertical plane and places it in a plane inclined to it. Scientific studies do not deal with this case of static calculation, although the normative prescriptions provide for the consideration of wind action. The obtained theoretical results are detailed so that they can be used directly by the design engineer.."

Amorphous metal alloys can already be considered advanced structural materials. This structure induces specific properties such as: high mechanical resistance and hardness, high bending ductility, high elastic modulus, superior resistance to corrosion and wear or, depending on the chemical composition, exceptional magnetic properties. The family of self-fluxing alloys based on nickel has multiple applications: NiCrBSi powders are used with remarkable results in obtaining protective layers against corrosion and wear, strips and wires are successfully used as brazing alloys, etc. In this paper it is presented the research carried out for obtaining and characterizing the amorphous NiCrSiB ribbons, through the melt spinning technique and the massive products (bulks) from the same family through mold casting and additive manufacturing using the Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technique

In modern times, young people strive to become diplomats, economists, artists, lawyers, noble professions but irrelevant to the development of industry, technology and technology. The innovative development of the industry requires saturation with highly qualified technicians, continuously guided, educated and improved. The paper addresses the issues related to their personality, factors determining personal development, criteria for assessing personal development, technological culture, philosophy, basic qualities, attitude and skills necessary for the mining engineer, starting from the principle "Deep in the bowels of the Earth you find the root of knowledge!". The paper indicates, without being limiting, the authors' vision on how to approach the training of specialists for the exploitation of useful mineral substances (solids, liquids and gases).
