The teaching process is a communication process between teachers and students, as well as a student with other students. Thus, materials or information delivered by the teachers should be well-accepted by the students and received the right feedbacks. But, when digital simulation and communication teaching process was conducted, there were some problems. The problems were time, space/distance, media, limited learning resources which were not able to fulfill the needs of the teaching processes, and also the psychological barriers within the students’ selves. From those problems, an e-learning teaching media was developed based on the needs, characteristics, and styles of the students as Z generation nowadays. The development of this e-learning media applied steps from Lee Owens model, which are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of the event then was validated by the material experts, media experts, and the students. The overall result showed the media was valid and suitable to use as an alternative for getting the learning resources. The result of the competency test toward students on average achieved 81.7%, which showed that there was an increase in learning outcome using e-learning, and it reached the minimum criteria of completeness

The purpose of the research is to know the effectiveness of learning outcomes of light vehicle engine maintenance subjects between students who are following a project based learning models compared with students who are following learning with conventional models. The type of this research is Quasi-experimental with a population consist of 54 students and divided into two classes, namely XI TKR 1 and XI TKR 2. The samples were taken on a clustered basis and found XI TKR 2 class as an experimental class with 27 students and XI TKR 1 class as an control class consist of 27 students. The instrument of data collection is used multiple choice tests. The technique of data analysis using descriptive, the prerequisite test analysis using a normality test and homogeneity test, while the hypothesis is using t-test. The results of the study were the results of learning by implementing a project based learning models in the experimental class higher than applying conventional models in control class. This can be proved by testing the t-test in the post-test between the experiment and control class which shows the t-hitung > t-tabel value, (2,189 > 1,674) and its significance value is less than 0.05 (P = 0.02 < 0.05).

This study aims to: (1) develop a learning media for practicing Distributorless Ignition (DLI) system for automotive engineering students and (2) identify the feasibility of the learning media for practical purpose in the classroom activities. The procedures of this research and development (RnD) study refers to the steps of product development by Borg and Gall (2007). A questionnaire was utilized to measure the learning media feasibility. Furthermore, there were media experts, content experts, and students as the user participated to evaluate and give feedback for the learning media improvement during the product development. The results reveal that (1) the distributorless ignition system learning media displays a systematic arrangement of the DLI components on acrylic boards accompanied by symbols of electrical components and (2) the product developed was suitable to facilitate students’ learning activity. The content and media experts scored the learning media as very feasible (7.59 & 7.06), the average score of the response of small class users was 6.14 (feasible), and the scores of large class respondents were 6.80 (very decent). It can be concluded that the DLI learning media can be used to support the instructional activity for ignition system.

EPIP is a new engineering education mode, and it is different from the traditional engineering education modes, which is based on vocational education engineering practice. EPIP stands for engineering, practice, innovation, and project. EPIP method proved effective in vocational education engineering practice. After analyzing the steps of EPIP, an application example of EPIP is presented to show what is EPIP, how it works, how to solve the problem of the traditional engineering education and how to transform a traditional electrician skill course to EPIP electrician skill course. EPIP electrician skill course has been tested in the experimental class. The experiment shows that EPIP has improved the innovation capability of students in the electrician skill. EPIP has a certain application value in vocational education. Finally, the paper discusses how to promote EPIP and to improve vocational education.

The concept of ecotourism is one of the alternatives for the development of Wonosadi Forest. Ecotourism focuses on three main things: natural or ecological sustainability, economic benefits, and psychologically acceptable in social life. This study aims to determine the extent to which the concept of community-based ecotourism can be used as an alternative development of Wonosadi forest. Through the development of ecotourism, the forest wonosadi is expected to be able to: 1) build environmental and cultural awareness around the forest area wonosadi 2) reduce the negative impact of damage or environmental pollution , in this case, wonosadi forest and local culture due to ecotourism activities, 3) directly to conservation through contributions from tourist visits, 4) develop a community economy and empower local communities by creating alternative tourism products that prioritize local values and uniqueness. This study used a qualitative approach using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) method and in - depth interview, secondary data study, and literature study. The results of the analysis show that: 1) ecotourism can create business opportunities, 2) ecotourism can increase employment and 3) ecotourism can increase income while increasing equality of local income.

The purpose of this research and development is to describe the implementation of industry-based work character development in practical learning that can equip students as Z-generation and to define the feasibility level of industry-based work character-based practice learning methods that can improve student learning achievement as Z-generation. Used in this study is the method of research and development (R & D). The development procedure uses the Borg and Gall models. The data subjects were class XI ATPH students in 2 classes as a control and experimental group — data collection techniques with learning observation, validation questionnaire, and documentation. While data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, the results of the study produced a guidebook, learning tools, and assessment tools. Evaluation of products and learning devices is feasible and can be used for trials. While the effectiveness of the product developed can improve student learning achievement.

This research aimed to know the pattern of entrepreneurship education in the vocational high school of agribusiness and agrotechnology fields. This research used the qualitative method with a case study approach. The technique of participants determination used snowball sampling. Research participants are teachers of entrepreneurship subjects and vocational subjects (productive) of Agribusiness and Agrotechnology expertise in SMK Negeri 1 Temanggung and SMK Negeri 1 Bawen. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and other relevant sources. The data analysis technique referred to the Interactive Model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana which includes data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion. This research found a pattern of entrepreneurial education consists of four stages: input, process, output, outcome. The primary strategy of entrepreneurship education is (1) learning strategies of collaboration and integration of entrepreneurial subjects with vocational subjects, (2) entrepreneurial growth strategies in schools. Entrepreneurial education outcomes are: (1) graduates choose careers as entrepreneur directly after graduating from the school, or indirectly after working first, (2) graduates can develop and expand the market.

Strategic collaboration between Vocational High Schools (SMK) and stakeholders can improve the quality of Vocational Schools. The quality improvement of SMK will undoubtedly be able to produce skilled human resources and be able to meet the needs of the workforce. One form of cooperation carried out by the Vocational School with the business world / industrial world is the Honda class program which is the cooperation of Vocational Schools with PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM). This evaluation concept aims to help research related to the effectiveness of Honda Class programs in Vocational Schools using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, and Product) developed by Stufflebeam. Through this evaluation model, researchers try to measure the effectiveness of Honda Class programs by analyzing the problems faced so that they can determine the strategic steps in resolving these problems.
