Limitations of the electromagnetic isolation for multi-antenna systems on small terminals with capacitive coupling elements 带有电容耦合元件的小型终端上多天线系统的电磁隔离限制

Recently, there has been a growing interest for evaluating the performance potential of multiple antenna systems on small terminals. This work focuses on Capacitive Coupling Elements (CCEs), which are expected to perform differently with respect to self-resonating elements. Several CCEs with different volumes and lengths are simulated, studying the bandwidth potential (BP) and isolation potential. The limitations of the Electromagnetic Isolation metric are presented, showing that more metrics might be needed for this peculiar antenna type.

Diffraction by impedance structures and higher order boundary conditions: A review 阻抗结构和高阶边界条件衍射研究进展

The first diffraction coefficients for impedance half planes and wedges were presented by Senior and Maliuzhinets. Uniform versions of these were later developed by Volakis and Tiberio et.al. making them useful for computational toolsets. For the latter, an important development was the introduction of simplified analytical expressions for the associated split function and Maliuzhinets integrals, allowing for quick evaluation of the diffraction coefficients.

Effects of dielectric and magnetic materials on antenna performances of very small normal-mode helical antennas 介电材料和磁性材料对超小型正模螺旋天线天线性能的影响

Dielectric and magnetic materials are used frequently in very small normal-mode helical antennas for the purpose to minimize sizes and increase antenna performances. In this paper, effects to self-resonant structures are clarified. Modifications of self-resonant equations in using materials are studied. Effects to antenna efficiencies are also studied. It is shown that the magnetic materials are effective to increase antenna efficiencies. Moreover, the input impedance matching structure is shown for realization of an actual antenna.

Advantages of PSWF-based models for UWB systems 基于pswf的超宽带系统模型的优点

The frequency dependency of signals plays a very important role in Ultra Wideband (UWB) systems. Being able to accurately model this frequency dependency can provide a multitude of benefits, especially for UWB systems in medical applications. The model, based on prolate spheroidal wave functions (PSWFs), presented in this contribution improves greatly upon the model relying on discrete prolate spheroidal sequences that was previously presented by the authors: it offers a much more compact representation, while retaining the same robustness to noise. Furthermore, with the improved model, a cascade of signals can be evaluated directly using the model coefficients. All of these properties can be of use when analysing UWB systems.

High gain microstrip patch antenna array using multiple superstrate layers for DSRC applications 用于DSRC应用的高增益微带贴片天线阵列

In this paper, the proposed study is based on the development of an antenna reader RSE according to the European DSRC Standards. A microstrip antenna array was designed using multiple superstrate layers, to overcome the disadvantage of low gain of a simple microstrip antenna. The DSRC preconditions have a large impact on the antenna design; the RSE antenna gain pattern must be reasonably wide in order to get a long enough communication time while passing an OBU with high speed and to allow the system to be operational in rain, snow or frost.

A wideband unidirectional antenna array element with stable radiation pattern 具有稳定辐射方向图的宽带单向天线阵列元件

A modification of the famous Bow Tie antenna element for wideband Direction-Of-Arrival estimation antenna arrays is designed. A broadband impedance match from 5 GHz to 14.5 GHz corresponding to a 97% bandwidth, as well as a very stable radiation pattern over a 37% bandwidth from 5.5 GHz to 8 GHz is achieved. A method for pattern stabilization using parasitic edge currents is shown. In addition the proposed design uses a double layer substrate and hence aims at direct integration of the feed network and analog RF circuitry directly into the antenna array. The particular design is suited for low-cost integration and optimized for a wireless high-precision localization system.

A modified helical shaped deployable antenna for cubesats 一种改进的用于立方体卫星的螺旋形可展开天线

This paper presents a new antenna design for CubeSat application. The antenna is a modified helix designed on top of 10cm × 30 cm satellite. The antenna deploys with a 120 cm × 120 cm ground plane to achieve a UHF wideband operation with a reduced back lobe radiation. The antenna exhibits circular polarization with a gain of at least 7 dB for most operating frequencies.
