The Cr/Nd:GLSAG crystal were grown by Czochralski method, its structure and luminescence properties were studied, which show that the luminescence properties of Nd3+ ions were improved by co-doping Cr3+ ions and adjusted by mixed garnet.

We demonstrate a new saturable absorber mirror coated with thin-film single-wall carbon nanotubes. Using such a device, we build a T-type ring cavity fiber laser and obtained pulses of 586 fs.

We applied the direct CEP locking method to frequency metrology, and measured the optical frequency of an accetylene-stabilized laser. The CEP stability in the frequency domain was comaparable to that of a conventional PLL method.
