Self-organized energy efficient channel assignment for cognitive D2D communication in 5G networks 5G网络认知D2D通信自组织节能信道分配

With the rapid increase in the number of smartphones and bandwidth hungry applications, it is required to use the bandwidth and power in an efficient way. The 5G networks can fulfill these ramping demands of bandwidth and high data rates by leveraging the device to device (D2D) communication. The D2D communication makes efficient use of the available resources, i.e., bandwidth and power with the help of direct communication of the devices with each other without/partial contribution of the base station (BS). In this paper, we first define an energy efficient channel assignment problem for a D2D network taking into account both the intra and inter link interference for D2D communication. Then, we propose a fully distributed game theory based solution to solve this problem, keeping in view the scalability and self-organization concerns of D2D communication. Finally, an exhaustive simulation is done to evaluate the proposed solution and results are presented in terms of energy efficiency in comparison with the random and greedy approaches.

Maneuverability is one of the key factors associated with fighter aircrafts. Effect of side slip in the form of lateral acceleration can significantly affect the stability of aircraft during maneuvers like coordination and therefore, must be addressed hydro-mechanically or electrically on aircrafts. Aircraft lateral acceleration models have been developed and control is implemented using Proportional integral Derivative­PID, Linear Quadratic Regulator-LQR and Linear Quadratic Integral-LQI. The responses of three are shown and compared. Results appreciate effectiveness of modern control techniques in contrast to classical control.

Increase the efficiency of smart antennas by using fractals 利用分形提高智能天线的效率

In this research, the use of smart antennas was developed through the application of the Sierpinski-type fractal antenna, which is characterized by the precise characteristics of transmission and reception and the high frequency range of up to 6 kHz. The three matrices were compared with 324 points simulation in MATLAB . Work as fractals have been tested with a larger set of points. Which is made up of corrosive antennas. This study is characterized by the study of the characteristics of the various fractal antennas and multifractal antennas, where they were generated and analyzed. The results indicate the importance of using multiple precision antennas for accuracy. Sierpinski fractal antenna is suitable for WLAN applications.

Based GPU approach to accelerate spectroscopy Raman spectrum processing 基于GPU的加速光谱拉曼光谱处理方法

Raman spectrometry is a technique that allows detecting chemical products through a number of representative peaks found in an image spectrum or numeric series of data. The Raman spectrum machine generates a CSV file or an image as a curve which is the result of the diagnosis product. The analysis of the spectrum peaks permits to detect the chemical origin of the concerned product. Scientists do this operation manually, which makes it hard and long in terms of time. Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) allow us to make the processing faster and more efficient, thanks to its multicore architecture. The aim of the present paper is to propose a new GPU based approach to automate the molecule detection operation using image-processing techniques with OpenCL parallel implementation. We propose two parallel solutions, which will be compared to each other. We apply the exploited approach to analyze ionic liquids and biomaterials samples.

Voltage regulation of a PV farm in a wide range using reserve panels 利用备用面板对光伏电站进行大范围的电压调节

Nowadays, due to increasing energy demands and concerns about environmental issues and global warming, there has been a rapid growth in renewable power generation. One of the most accessible renewable energies is solar energy, which can be easily converted to electricity using photovoltaic (PV) systems. PV panels, power electronic interfaces, and sometimes loads have non-linear and time-variant characteristics. Hence, the DC-link regulator is not capable of compensating the DC-link voltage in case of considerable variations. In this paper, a new technique based on reserve panels is proposed to improve the performance of DC-link controller in case of panel outage and partial shading. To verify the proposed method, some simulations are carried out in MATLAB/Simulink software.

Intelligent electrical load shedding in heavily loaded industrial establishments with a case study 重载工业场所的智能电力减载与案例研究

The purpose of a Load Shedding Control System (LSS) is to prevent a dangerous overloading of the generators and/or a general collapse (blackout) of an electric power system due to a generator failure or any contingency which may diminish the capacity of the operational generators below the active power required by the loads. Such a state may create an imbalance in the power supply and thus lead to a frequency decay, voltage collapse and overload on all the power generation units connected to the system. In case the electrical supply is inadequate to meet the demand of the process loads, partial supply to certain areas can be interrupted in order to prevent the failure of the whole electrical system. This process is called load shedding. This is an entirely different concept from a power failure that may occur due to various reasons. Load shedding is an effective method to prevent a total collapse of the electrical supply, which may have a disastrous impact on the continuity of the processes and operations. Unless power imbalances are properly managed, they may cause the entire workflow to collapse until the power to the industrial establishment is restored. The aim of this paper is to discuss the electrical load shedding process of a refinery, which is a heavily loaded industrial establishment, in detail.

Uncalibrated stereo image reconstruction based on RANSAC algorithm 基于RANSAC算法的无标定立体图像重建

Nowadays, Computer vision is a very coveted discipline by many engineers. It plays an important role in the current applications in the fields of medicine, education, robotics, weapons, even in the smallest home appliances etc. The main and essential element of these applications is the camera which by dint of its affordable price, its ease to be embedded and its lower consumption of energy makes it possible to work wonderfully in computer vision systems. However, setting up a camera requires an engineer who must know most of the parameters that highlight a camera. Former is not easy especially when one don't have any information about of the internal parameters of camera used to take images. In this paper, the use of a camera which an internal parameters are unknown has been investigated to reconstruct an uncalibrated stereo image.

A cluster based energy efficient trust management mechanism for medical wireless sensor networks (MWSNs) 基于集群的医疗无线传感器网络节能信任管理机制

This paper presents an energy efficient trust management model for securing life-saving information with optimal power/energy consumption by sensor nodes. The proposed model is a cluster based three tier-architecture where first tier records the first-run configuration of the nodes. The second tier secures the data between the nodes, and the third tier ensures energy efficiency by calculating energy consumption at every level and rotates cluster head among the nodes. The difficult task of energy efficiency is achieved through a robust algorithm, which configures the nodes and train the network using a machine learning technique. The simulation results show smooth functioning of the network with less energy consumption. The proposed scheme performs better than Anonymous Authentication for Wireless Body Area Networks with Provable Security (AAWBAN) in terms of computational overhead, energy consumption, throughput and data drop rate.

The proposed model is a cluster based three tier-architecture where first tier records the first-run configuration of the nodes. The second tier secures the data between the nodes, and the third tier ensures energy efficiency by calculating energy consumption at every level and rotates cluster head among the nodes. The difficult task of energy efficiency is achieved through a robust algorithm, which configures the nodes and train the network using a machine learning technique. The simulation results show smooth functioning of the network with less energy consumption. Fuzzy logic based passive fault tolerant control strategy for a single-tank system with system fault and process disturbances 基于模糊逻辑的系统故障和过程干扰单罐系统被动容错控制策略

Aiming at the decreasing performance of single-tank level control system under the constraints of system fault and process disturbances. In this paper, the mechanism of fault- tolerant control (FTC) is set up for a class of single-input - single-output (SISO) single-tank level control system with system (leak) fault, and based on the established passive fault tolerant control (PFTC) strategy, a fuzzy logic plus PI controller based passive fault-tolerant control (PFTC) strategy is proposed and compared this PFTC strategy using fuzzy logic plus PI control and PFTC strategy using conventional PI feedback control. The considered system fault is leak fault. The fault warning is constructed according to the identification error came from the controlled system and system model. When the system fault occurs, fuzzy logic systems are used to identify and detected the faults, and the passive fault tolerant control (PFTC) method is employed to compensate the leak fault. The control performance and stability of the closed-loop system are rigorously investigated. Finally, simulation and real-time results performance comparison of a single-tank level control system for two control strategies are presented and demonstrate the efficiency of the PFTC using two different controller modes in terms of mean square error (MSE) and root mean square error (RMSE). And hence the proposed PFTCS scheme using fuzzyplus PI controller gives superior performance in terms of error indices.

Probability estimation for the fault detection and isolation of pmu-based transmission line system of smart grid 基于pmu的智能电网输电线路系统故障检测与隔离的概率估计

Phasor measurement sensor plays an important role in finding the fault location in smart transmission line grid by sensing the voltage and current phasors of the sum of zero- and/or positive sequence entering the phasor measurement unit and communicate with the other PMU sensor installed at other buses in order to isolate the faulty transmission line. This work studies the accuracy and reliability of the information flow of the backup protection system in transmission line network. A method is proposed to find the fault detection and isolation probabilities of the transmission line of smart grid. We propose the development of Markovian model of the Western System Coordinating Council (WSCC-9) bus system with backup protection zone and formally verify the model via probabilistic model checker tool in order to analyse the system accuracy, efficiency and reliability by developing the logical properties. Furthermore, prediction of the success/failure isolation probabilities of transmission line is done. The probabilistic model checker (PRISM) is utilized for the estimation of all the success /failure probabilities and the verification of the WSCC-9 bus model via logical properties.
