Comparison of Voltage Distortion Impacts from High-Speed Railway Systems Connected to Electrical Grid Under Different Special Transformers 不同专用变压器对高速铁路并网电压畸变影响的比较

High-speed trains in Thailand use AC traction system with 2×25 kV and 50 Hz power system. In traction system, it consists of power electronic devices; therefore, trains can be considered as moveable sources of harmonics in power system. For supplying electrical power to trains, three-phase high voltage (HV) to two-phase medium voltage (MV) by special transformers has been used. This paper focuses on developing 2×25 kV highspeed railway (HSR) system consisting of catenary system, highspeed rail loads and various kinds of specially connected transformer models. Three types of specially connected transformers, i.e. V-V transformer, Scott transformer and Modified Woodbridge transformer, are modeled and verified by DIgSILENT PowerFactory software. The impacts on voltage distortion from HSR system connected to utility grid at point-of-common coupling (PCC) with different types of special transformers are analyzed and compared. It is found that harmonics currents can have different impacts on utility grid by different specially connected transformers. Selecting an appropriate range of short-circuit power from an early stage of construction of high-speed railway until future expansion of high-speed rail loads is crucial to evaluate the total life cycle cost of the developed HSR project.

Pulse Width Modulated Cascaded Multi Level Inverter Topology 脉宽调制级联多电平逆变器拓扑

In this paper a new cascaded multi level inverter is proposed. It consists of a basic module which can generate fifteen level output considering zero level. PWM switching scheme is used here for generating the pulses for the switches in the proposed topology. This topology shows the advantages over some of existing topology reported in the literature in respect of number of switches, drivers, sources etc. It can also be applied for symmetric as well as asymmetric configuration. Validation of the proposed topology has been ascertained by simulation in Matlab environment and hardware set up has been developed for fifteen level multi level inverter. Hardware and simulation results are in close agreement with each other.

The Stability Analysis of DC Micro-Grid System with PV Array 光伏阵列直流微电网系统稳定性分析

The paper deals with the stability analysis of DC micro-grid system (DC MGs). The eigenvalue theorem is applied with the proposed model derived from the DQ method and the generalize state-space averaging (GSSA) method. It can be found from the stability study that the irradiance of PV arrays can significantly affect to the stability margin of DC MGs. The simulation results via the exact topological model of MATLAB are used to confirm the theoretical results. A good agreement between the simulation and theory can be achieved. Moreover, the effect of irradiance changing on stability issue is very important. This effect has to be considered for DC MGs to avoid the unstable operation.

Side-Lobe Level Reduction of Concentric Array Antennas Using Craziness Based Particle Swarm Optimization Technique 基于疯狂度的粒子群优化技术降低同心圆阵列天线旁瓣电平

In the following paper the Craziness based Particle Swarm Optimization (CRPSO) scheme has been used that entitles a recent technique in electromagnetic for optimizing the problems that are caused for the array pattern synthesis of 90-element Concentric Circular Array (CCA) and Concentric Elliptical Array (CEA) of isotropic antennas that produces directive beams with utmost reduction of the Side-Lobe-Level (SLL). The paper demonstrates a newly used algorithm which is CRPSO which is used for pattern synthesis of the arranged planar array, CEA, by optimizing the amplitude with required SLL value. Simultaneously, compare with conventional PSO method and its improved version (IPSO), CRPSO is used with the intention of producing utmost SLL reduction.

Comparing a Conceptual Model of the Electronic Record System Applying in Home Health Care Unit 比较电子病历系统在家庭保健单位应用的概念模型

The electronic based system and health information technology were used and integrated in healthcare service because the electronic systems provide better quality, efficiency, and outcome of healthcare service. By improving the quality of care, the electronic system was to adapt and adopt into the healthcare service including the nursing service of long term care. In Home Health Care unit, Ramathibodi hospital, it was 2 systems in this service, the paper based and electronic based systems. Surveying the existing system found that the electronic based was supported only one process, which is the consulting process, but other processes mostly had to record in paper based. This paper developed the electronic record system applied into their services. Also, before implementing the new system into the working process, the comparing effectiveness and efficiency between existing as paper based and the new system as electronic based were defined. There were aspects of the number of incidents of data error, incompleteness, inconsistency and different time between using both systems to record.

Identification of Plant Nutrient Deficiencies Using Convolutional Neural Networks 利用卷积神经网络识别植物营养缺乏

A novel image analysis method for identifying nutrient deficiencies in plant based on its leaf is proposed. First, the proposed method divides an input leaf image into small blocks. Second, each block of leaf pixels is fed to a set of convolutional neural networks (CNNs). Each CNN is specifically trained for a nutrient deficiency and is utilized to decide if a block is presenting any symptom of the corresponding nutrient deficiency. Next, the responses from all CNNs are integrated to produce a single response for the block using a winner-take-all strategy. Finally, the responses from all blocks are integrated into one using a multi-layer perceptron to produce a final response for the whole leaf. Validation of the proposed method was performed on a set of black gram (Vigna mungo) plants grown under nutrient-controlled environments. Five types of deficiencies, i.e., Ca, Fe, K, Mg, and N deficiencies, and a group of plants with complete nutrients were studied. A dataset consisting of 3,000 leaf images was collected and used for experimentation. Experimental results indicate the superiority of the proposed method over trained humans in nutrient deficiency identification.

Changes in Pulse Transit Time During Psychological Stress Test 心理应激试验中脉冲传递时间的变化

Preliminary study of psychological stress on physiological parameters has been reported. Six healthy college students (male=3, female=3) participated in the modified Trier Social Stress Test (TSST). Their Electrocardiogram (ECG), Photoplethysmogram (PPG) were monitored in 5-stage experiment. Two Pulse Transit Time (PTT) were generated within each cardiac cycle from the period of R-wave presented in ECG to (1) the peak (systolic pressure) in PPG; “PTT+” and (2) the valley (diastolic pressure) in PPG; “PTT-”. The mean and standard deviation of these two PTTs were reported across the stages. More data will be recruited for statistical comparison in the future.

Currently, wireless sensor network has important in the role of the short-range wireless communication, especially in, an indoor localization. However, there are more factors of the indoor environment caused to reduce the precise localization and also increase the error of distance. This paper presents a new method to evaluate the wireless sensor network (WSN) technology for the indoor localization. The proposed methods are using received signal strength indicator (RSSI) to compute the error of distance based on weighting algorithms. Whereby the weight range localizer (WRL) and relative span exponential weight range localizer (RS-WRL) is proposed in this paper. As the results, the cumulative distribution function (CDF) probability indicates the error of distance as properly, and this method can help to increase the precision of range based localization method in an application of indoor environment.
目前,无线传感器网络在近距离无线通信中,特别是在室内定位中具有重要的作用。然而,室内环境因素较多,导致定位精度降低,距离误差增大。本文提出了一种评价无线传感器网络(WSN)室内定位技术的新方法。提出的方法是利用接收信号强度指标(RSSI)来计算基于加权算法的距离误差。在此基础上提出了权重范围定位器(WRL)和相对跨度指数权重范围定位器(RS-WRL)。结果表明,累积分布函数(CDF)概率较好地反映了距离误差,有助于提高基于距离的定位方法在室内环境中的应用精度。

Simulation of a Miniature SEPIC Converter with PI Controller for Thermoelectric Generator Module 基于PI控制器的小型SEPIC变换器热电发电模块仿真

This paper proposes a study and simulation of a miniature SEPIC Converter with PI controller for thermoelectric generator module (TEG). Objective of the study is to determine possibility of whether it could be an alternative power source for mobile or portable energy storage devices. A system model of this study comprises of TEG, SEPIC converter, PI controller and various loading resistance. Experimental results, by simulation on MATLAB-Simulink, illustrated that TEG module can be used as power source with proper design controller and loading range.
本文对热电发电模块(TEG)用带PI控制器的微型SEPIC变换器进行了研究和仿真。这项研究的目的是确定它是否可能成为移动或便携式储能设备的替代电源。本研究的系统模型由TEG、SEPIC转换器、PI控制器和各种负载电阻组成。在MATLAB-Simulink上进行仿真,实验结果表明,只要设计合适的控制器和负载范围,TEG模块可以作为电源使用。

This paper presents an optimal zero-sequence selection based on two-phase space vector pulse width modulation for five-leg inverter fed dual two-phase induction motors. The proposed zero-sequence selection of common b is determined which can reduce the peaks of resultant duty cycle before overmodulation resulting in an extension of a linear range of modulation index. As a result, the proposed strategy offers better DC-bus utilization when compared to a conventional strategy for a five-leg voltage source inverter.
