Portable Industrial Standard Mixed-Signal Transmitter for Laboratory 实验室用便携式工业标准混合信号发射机

This paper presents the design of industrial standard mixed-signal transmitter based on economical design aspect. The proposed signal transmitter is used to transmit the standard signals for testing and verifying the functionality of factory automation and process control systems in an industrial environment. The standard 4–20 mA current signal is provided in the designed signal transmitter. Additionally, some standard voltage signals are available to enable the flexibility in practical utilization. The voltage outputs can be transmitted within three ranges including 0–5 V, 0–10 V and 1–5 V. The proposed signal transmitter is designed utilizing an open-source electronics prototyping platform Arduino Nano ATMEGA328P microcontroller. Analog to Digital converter (ADC) ADS1115 is used in the transmitter with 16-bit resolution. Digital to Analog converter (DAC) MCP4922, which is dual channel with 12-bit resolution, is used for providing high accuracy output signal levels together with low noises performance. Furthermore, the current gain is used via the operational amplifier TLC 2272 exhibited rail-to-rail output performance. The main portion of signal transmitter is integrated within a small container that offers a portability of the device for field testing. The proposed industrial standard mixed-signal transmitter is tested to investigate the functionality and performance of the device in various experiments. The experimental results evidently demonstrate the complete designated functionality and satisfactory performance based on the existing conventional signal transmitter with low-cost solution.

Two-Step Prediction Technique for Dengue Outbreak in Thailand 泰国登革热疫情两步预测技术

Dengue fever is a tropical disease caused by dengue virus. This virus is transmitted by mosquitoes. Dengue can also be transmitted via infected blood products and through organ donation. There are many infected people in each year. Thus, if the number of patients can be predicted, vaccines for dengue fever will be able to prepare for serving all patients in that area. This research proposed a two-step prediction method that combines time series forecasting analysis and supervised learning techniques to predict the number of dengue fever patient cases. In generally, the result of prediction from only the number of patient cases is not good enough for application; accuracy and confidence are low. In this research, the environmental factors are considered and predicted. Then, these factors are used for predicting the number patient cases. The experimental results show that the proposed two-step prediction technique is a good choice for dengue fever prediction. The accuracy is better than the simple prediction technique.

Performance Evaluation of Submicron SiC MESFET 亚微米SiC MESFET的性能评价

The quality of a finished MESFET is assessed by evaluating its DC and AC characteristics, whilst the target characteristics can be achieved by optimizing the device parameters prior to its fabrication. In this research the I - V and R.F characteristics of submicron SiC MESFET are simulated. In order to achieve optimum values of simulated intrinsic parameters, an objective function based on experimental data for both phase and magnitude is defined. The device intrinsic small signal parameters are then evaluated by using the simulated data. By using particle swarm optimization, different gains of the device and insertion loss are also taken into account which helped in formulating a good agreement between simulated and experimental data.

Bayesian Approach with Different Heterogeneity Variance Priors in Disease Mapping of HIV/AIDS in Thailand 不同异质性方差先验贝叶斯方法在泰国HIV/AIDS疾病制图中的应用

The objective of this study is to compare Bayesian models and Bayesian maps under several different heterogeneity variance priors after controlling with the same data and the same mean prior in the application of standardized morbidity ratio (SMR) of HIV/AIDS infection in Thailand 2013. Three noniterative estimators of heterogeneity variance priors for SMRs as dispersion measures among areas are compared to produce the best fitting model and map. The data source of the number of newly diagnosed HIV/ AIDS cases infected out of the persons who come to receive medical treatments including blood test is provided by the National AIDS Program (NAP), collected by the National Health Security Office (NHSO). The results showed that the first heterogeneity variance prior estimate derived from the marginal variance estimator of observed number of HIV/AIDS cases performs best with the smallest deviance information criterion (DIC), the largest log-marginal-likelihood, and the highest posterior probability, leading to a suitable map with five high risk classes of SMR classification under Bayesian mapping. Practically, the prior information on the mean is the most popular use to improve Bayes estimates; however, a recommendation based upon an acceptable prior on the heterogeneity variance after controlling the same mean prior from this study result is also adopted as an alternative choice.

Compensation of Mutual Coupling for Two Dipoles Transmitting Antenna Array 双偶极子发射天线阵的互耦补偿

A technique has been proposed for a more accurate estimation and compensation of mutual coupling in transmitting antenna array system. The compensation consists of the modification in feed voltage based upon the value of the mutual impedance found using FEKO. Pattern multiplication technique has been used to obtain the coupling-free azimuthal gain pattern with specific feed voltage. With the same feed voltage the pattern has been obtained in FEKO to observe the effect of mutual coupling. Finally, the coupled gain pattern has been obtained with the compensated feed voltage. All the three radiation patterns have been compared to see the effect of the coupling as well as the effectiveness of the compensation technique.

The Series Connected Bidirectional Resonant Converter for Energy Storage Applications 用于储能应用的串联双向谐振变换器

This paper proposes the series connected bidirectional soft switching resonant converter (BSRC). The BSRC is composed of 4 switches to increase the DC bus voltage for transferring the energy of PV and energy storage. The modes of operation divide in two modes for operating bidirectional voltages. The first part is the boost mode which is controlled for the constant 48 volts from batteries $(mathbf{V}_{mathbf{B}mathbf{a}mathbf{t}mathbf{t}pmb{1,2}})$ to the DC voltage buses $(mathbf{V}_{mathbf{H}mathbf{i}mathbf{g}mathbf{h}})$ and second is buck mode at 24 volts for charging the batteries. The asymmetrical duty cycle control techniques (ADC) is proposed to control the constant input voltage for charging battery and DC voltage buses. The simulation and experimental results were given to verify the operation principles of the proposed BSRC and to evaluate its power regulation.

Short-Term Demand Forecasting by Using ANN Algorithms 基于人工神经网络的短期需求预测

Electric power demand prediction is an important task for the efficient, economic, reliable and accurate power system operations which can be unit commitment, maintenance scheduling, etc. Considering importance of load forecasting different models are proposed for power demand forecasting. ANN is the most widely used method for power demand forecast from years. Simulation results obtained show that ANN is capable of forecasting electricity loads effectively. In this paper different ANN has been applied in short-term demand forecasting that is, the one hour-ahead hourly forecast of the electricity power demand using MATLAB R14a. The simulation results have shown highly accurate one hour ahead load forecast.

A Novel Disconnector Device for Unlocking MC-4 Connector Typex 解锁MC-4接头类型的新型断开装置

This research presents the invention of a connector unlocking device. The purpose of this invention is to create a connector unlocking device which allows the user to unlock the connector faster and reduce the chance of injury. The composition of the device according to this invention are following. The unlocking part which has one end attached to the arm for unlocking the connector. The arm which has one end for mounting the unlocking part, and the other end which is connected to the pivot point for connecting between the unlocking part and the pivot point. The pivot point is the connector between the two arms. The unlocking part has a geometric shape with one side touching the locking lever and the other side touching the guide. The fore that handle to the device can push the locking lever for unlocking the connecter faster and reduce the chance of injury.

A Study on Control Scheme of Low Frequency AC Transmission in Wind Generation System 风力发电系统低频交流输电控制方案研究

This paper presents the configuration and control on characteristics of low frequency ac transmission system (LFAC) that suitable for apply to wind generation system. Merits of LFAC over high voltage direct current (HVDC) are mentioned. The current rating on thyristor devices during operation and number of devices that used in each type of LFAC are calculated and compared to determine the most suitable configuration to operate on the LFAC transmission system. The details of the power control scheme for the application of multi-terminal LFAC transmission system with the virtual synchronous generator control (VSG) are explained. Simulation results are provided to verify the LFAC transmission system's performance.

Battery Monitoring System for DC Distribution in a Substation Using Travelling Wave Theory 基于行波理论的变电站直流配电电池监测系统

Battery monitoring system for dc distribution applying in a substation is presented in this paper. Both MEA and PEA substation uses lead acid type batteries for a de distribution using as a backup source. Therefore, a battery monitoring is a key function in a charger to check battery condition; however, a traditional charger used in a substation does not have this function. A lead acid battery first order equivalent circuit is utilized to analyze the battery condition by probing an internal resistance of a battery. A first order equivalent circuit is used to determined battery parameters using transient response analysis. PSIM is also used to simulate the proposed equivalent circuit properties comparing to experimental result. The experimental results are conducted by using three lead acid batteries which are used in a PEA substation. The travelling wave theory is also applied to determine the health of under tested batteries. Both simulation and experimental results show that the proposed technique is promising technique to implement in a charger function for detecting a battery condition as a proactive maintenance.
