Holonic Theory and Holistic Education 整体理论与全人教育

This paper presents the holonic theory, which is an attempt to develop in a single model the explanation of the evolution in the physic, biologic and cultural dimensions. The purpose of this development is to understand the traits of nowadays common holism, which is considered a necessary thinking practice in different domains, among them education. A phenomenological study has been developed connecting diverse noospheric holons. The results allow for a characterization of the holonic structure of a holistic consciousness act. This characterization is used to define holistic education: An education with the dimensions of preservation, profundity, projective action and span.  The article can be read as a contribution to provide ontological and epistemological bases for going beyond the modern worldview and the widespread postmodern syncretism. These findings help in providing a framework for today’s holistic pedagogical debates and developments.

Using Hierarchical Generalized Linear Modeling to Examine Contextual Differential Item Functioning: A Validity Study of Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale 运用层次广义线性模型检验情境差异项目功能:教师效能感量表的效度研究

The purpose of the study was to further investigate the validity of the instrument used for collecting preservice teachers’ perceptions of self-efficacy adapting the three-level hierarchical generalized linear modeling (HGLM) model. To serve the purpose, the study used data collected by the research team which elicited preservices teachers’ self-efficacy beliefs using Teachers’ Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES). Hierarchical generalized linear modeling (HGLM) were used to analyze the data. Results of the HGLM analyses (at level-two) showed that one item in the scale displayed gender DIF. Another item became DIF item when the context variable was added to the level-two model. However, the effect of the context on the DIF item was not big.

Educational Innovation Research in the Age of Big Data 大数据时代的教育创新研究

The era of big data has brought shocks to education, and it has also put forward new requirements and expectations for education innovation. Based on the development requirements of comprehensive education reform, innovative talent training, and optimization of education and teaching methods in the era of big data, it is extremely necessary to carry out educational innovation. In the era of big data, education innovation has also shown a certain development trend. We should fully understand the necessity of education innovation in the era of big data, grasp the development trend of education innovation in the era of big data, make full use of big data thinking, methods and techniques, and start from the aspects of education decision-making, education and teaching reform, and the construction of big data education service platform to find a new path for educational innovation in the new era.

Higher Education Research from the Perspective of Pedagogy 教育学视野下的高等教育研究

Since higher education research has emerged from pedagogy, many studies have long failed to place higher education within the education system. In a multidisciplinary perspective, higher education issues are more often seen as social issues shared by disciplines than purely educational issues. Due to the lack of pedagogical perspectives, higher education studies are not well-known, and higher education research has become a broad multidisciplinary field with no roots. Although at the organizational level, the current higher education research has made progress in the institutionalization of disciplines, higher education has also obtained disciplines in universities in China, However, at the level of disciplines, research on higher education must reflect or not. Re-examine the great value of education in higher education research, it is clear that the “higher education” pedagogy is an indispensable foundation for the maturity of higher education research or the realization of higher education.

Innovation of College Education Management from the Perspective of New Public Service Theory 新公共服务理论视域下的高校教育管理创新

The new public service theory provides a rich theoretical perspective and scientific methodology for the education management innovation of colleges and universities in China. The meaning of “humanity”, “responsibility” and “service” can help to change many problems in the education management of colleges and universities in China. To build a service-oriented education management model for colleges and universities, we need to:(1) Establish a public service concept and change the administrative management style of higher education;(2) Build a common value base and promote the participation of multiple entities in higher education management;(3) Deepen the responsibility of social services and realize the “legal management” of higher education.
新公共服务理论为我国高校教育管理创新提供了丰富的理论视角和科学的方法论。“人性”、“责任”和“服务”的内涵有助于改变我国高校教育管理中的诸多问题。构建高校服务型教育管理模式,需要:(1)树立公共服务理念,转变高等教育行政管理方式;(2) 建立共同的价值基础,促进多主体参与高等教育管理;(3) 深化社会服务责任,实现高等教育“依法管理”。

Based on innovative national construction background, aiming at the present stage of China’s independent innovation ability is insufficient constraints, embarks from the national innovation strategy and innovation of education guiding ideology, through analyzing the path of innovation education in the developed countries, the experience for reference and 30 years of innovation education practice in China, seeking to build the development of higher vocational teachers’ ability of innovation education promotion mechanism, to improve the quality of creative skills training and service transformation and upgrading of local industry has the vital significance.
