Effects of Neutral Point Grounding Methods on Single-Phase Short Circuit Fault Characteristics 中性点接地方式对单相短路故障特征的影响

Short circuit faults are one of the most common disturbances in power systems that occur because of insulation failure due to a sudden overvoltage condition caused by lightning, switching operations, insulation contamination, etc. Medium voltage power distribution networks use different methods for grounding the neutral point. Influences of these grounding methods on the characteristics of single-phase short circuit fault are discussed in this paper on the example of substation “Bugojno”. Modeling and simulation are implemented in EMTP-RV (Electromagnetic Transient Program-Restructured Version) software. Data recorded by protection system during normal operation and three-phase short circuit fault in the substation are analyzed and used for comparison with simulation results to validate developed model of the observed part of power system. This validated model was then used to analyze the effects of neutral point grounding methods on the characteristics of single-phase short circuit fault.

Combined peak shaving/time shifting strategy for microgrid controlled renewable energy efficiency optimization 微电网可控可再生能源效率优化的调峰/时移联合策略

This paper presents a hybrid microgrid architecture (DC, AC and mix) to increase the energy efficiency of the system to different types of consumers, which can reduce the size and cost of those installations. Different modes of operation of the microgrid are discussed, based on the chosen architecture. The control strategy for increasing efficiency proposes a combination of a peak shaving algorithm with a time shifting algorithm in order to reduce the peak production in the battery and to move it to maximum consumption.

Potential of Edge Computing PLCs in Industrial Automation 边缘计算plc在工业自动化中的潜力

Ongoing industrial revolution - Industry 4.0, driven by a mesh of disruptive new technologies, promises a more effective and productive industrial environment. The challenges that have arisen as a side effect, such as the vast quality of data that needs to be transmitted and processed safely in real-time, require a new computing approach. One of the paradigms being used to conquer this problem is Edge computing which, due to an increase in the performance and enhancement of storage capacities, moves data processing closer to the data origin. This new approach is being applied to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), the core of industrial automation since the 1960s. This paper offers a parallel comparison of state-of-the-art PLCs that are adopting Edge computing principles and their fit in an already complex industrial network.

Technical Translation and the Internet 技术翻译与互联网

In dealing with technical translation, the Internet has become an inseparable part of a translator's activities, serving both as a translation resource and a translation tool. In this paper, both of the mentioned aspects will be elaborated, from the perspective of technical translation from any of the three official languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina into English and vice versa, with a special emphasis on the second aspect, observed through machine translation engines, such as Google Translate, Microsoft Translator and Glosbe Translate, which will be discussed both in terms of their features and regarding the semantical and grammatical accuracy of translation. Prior to that, some of the key concepts regarding the present-time condition of translation, technical translation and computer-assisted translation will be presented in the introductory part. At the end, the conclusions based on the analysis will be made.

A Normalised Gradient Descent PI Controller For Speed Servomechanism 速度伺服机构的归一化梯度下降PI控制器

Performance of digitally controlled speed servomechanisms is very important for the overall performance of modern motion control systems. Proportional and integral controller is simple, yet with clear physical interpretation. This controller, even when optimally tuned, due to fixed values of parameters might lead to a poor performance of the overall system. One way to resolve this problem is to use gradient descent optimisation of controller parameters, with simple update rules for a real time operation, and with intuitive graphical interpretation. However, gradient descent algorithms have slow convergence and decreased performance when operate in nonstationary and/or nonlinear environment. Learning rate normalisation gives time varying learning rate and minimised a posterior output error. Due to these facts, normalised gradient descent proportional and integral controller for digitally controlled speed servomechanism is presented in this paper. The recommended values of the algorithm parameters, based on convergence analysis, are proposed. Results of the experiments support the analysis.

Study of Lightning Overvoltages Protection of 400 kV Gas Insulated Substation 400kv气体绝缘变电站雷电过电压保护研究

Overvoltages are unpredictable and extremely dangerous for the electric power system. The causes of overvoltages are different, but lightning is considered as one of the most serious causes of overvoltages. High voltage substations are one of the main parts of the power system whose faults caused by overvoltages can lead to outage of large part of power system. Therefore, overvoltage protection of a high voltage substation is very important. In order to protect the substation as much as possible from the effects of the overvoltages, it is necessary to implement elements that can help reduce these effects, for example surge arresters. This paper presents the effects of the use of surge arresters in high voltage, gas SF6 insulated substation, modeled in the EMTP-RV (Electromagnetic Transient Program-Restructured Version) software. An accurate representation of lightning surge incoming in the substation is very important because it strongly affects the design of overvoltage protection system. In this paper parameters of lightning strikes are determined using Sigma Slp software.

A Power Flow Method for Unbalanced Three-Phase Distribution Networks with Nonlinear Loads 含非线性负荷的三相不平衡配电网潮流分析方法

This paper presents the results of power flow calculations in unbalanced three-phase radial distribution networks with nonlinear loads obtained using the decoupled harmonic power flow (DHPF) method. The method is based on three-phase models of distribution network components and the current injection technique. Performances of the method are evaluated on the standard IEEE 13-bus test network. The DHPF method is verified by comparing its results with those generated by the software tool for the analysis of transmission, distribution, and industrial electrical power systems (i.e., DIgSILENT PowerFactory). It is shown that the DHPF method for solving the harmonic power flow (HPF) problem in unbalanced three-phase distribution networks provides effective and high-quality solutions.

This paper considers the possibilities of application of shape memory alloys SMA in the maritime industry. The primary characteristic of SMAs is their ability to change shape and transform when exposed to a certain temperature. Various studies have focused on finding the ideal, functional and optimal characteristics of these materials and their alloys. The SMA alloy that stands out in particular, which is widely used in various industries and which has great potential for application in the maritime industry is the NiTi alloy. The results obtained in this paper by determining the chemical composition Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) of NiTi alloy define its basic functional characteristics. The aim of the research is to point out the possibilities of applying shape memory alloys in the maritime industry in order to analyze the impact of the corrosion process on these alloys.

Software for modeling brazing process of spacecraft elements from widely used alloys 用广泛使用的合金对航天器元件进行钎焊过程建模的软件

The article develops a software system module for modeling the brazing of spacecraft elements from widely used alloys based on induction heating. The approach proposed by the authors is based on the use of two-dimensional non-stationary heat conduction equations. A permanent heat source is added to these equations, because heating occurs due to eddy currents. The mathematical model proposed by the authors considers: the geometric parameters of the waveguides, the physical parameters of materials, the initial and boundary conditions, as well as the uneven distribution of the eddy current density in the waveguide. This approach allows you to simulate the brazing process for almost any materials with different geometric parameters used in the aerospace industry. In this work, we simulate the process of induction brazing of pipelines from Alloy 321 stainless steel (UNS S32100). The need to develop a module of the software system is due to: (1) high temperature of the board and the need to withstand the regime; (2) use of duct boxes to create a protective environment; (3) high material costs when developing a new technological process (for example, when brazing a larger pipe). As a result of this work, a software system module was developed and modeling of induction brazing of pipelines in protective environments from Alloy 321 stainless steel was carried out, the results of which are presented in the article.
