3D Vehicle Pose Estimation from an Image Using Geometry 三维车辆姿态估计从图像使用几何

3D pose estimation is a quite fascinating problem in the computer vision field, which aims to get the 3D orientation of the object based on the 2D image and can be challenging to find the solution. These solutions are mostly used in the autonomous industry to properly detect cars’ orientation on street scenes. Most solutions and publicly available datasets refer to only one axis orientation (axis parallel to the road), while two others are set to zero. In this paper, we propose a new way of representing a 3D object orientation that is not limited only to the autonomous industry. Our proposal uses Euler angle representation and two coordinate systems (one from the camera and one from the detected object) to define angle orientation for each axis in 3D space. Because this approach is supposed to be used in creating datasets and solutions in the deep learning field, there are some restrictions to be considered to properly train your solution. To better represent the proposal of 3D orientation and its purpose, it is necessary to visualize the bounding box around the detected object, which will follow its orientation. The visualization part is being done using computer-generated images (CGI), while the algorithmic part uses quaternions instead of Euler angles for the rotation of the 3D bounding box.

Collaboration of Heterogeneous Medical Information Systems in the Republic of Serbia 塞尔维亚共和国异构医疗信息系统的协作

Preservation of health data and monitoring of patients' treatment history is the basis for adequate treatment and prediction of potential diseases or conditions. Medical information systems (MISes) make it easier for healthcare professionals to search for and review all existing medical patient data for adequate treatment and provide the ability to warn of potential illnesses depending on previous treatments. However, MIS is often organized locally, at the healthcare institution or city level, and it is not possible to directly access data located in other healthcare facilities. Therefore, the collaboration of healthcare institutions' MISes is inevitable. This paper discusses the problem realization of heterogeneous MIS collaboration on the example of MIS MEDIS.NET collaboration with other healthcare institutions' MISes in the Republic of Serbia, which is reflected in the exchange of medical data for a particular patient. The described concept can be applied to the collaboration of other types of information systems, i.e., creating a distributed centralized system.

Design and Verification of 22kW / 220Vdc Electromagnet for Separation of Steel Parts from Coal on Conveyor Belts for Delivery 输送带钢煤分离用22kW / 220Vdc电磁铁的设计与验证

The paper presents dimensioning and verification of the design of a powerful 22 kW electromagnet powered from a 220 V DC source. The application of the designed electromagnet refers to systems for electromagnetic separation of medium and large steel parts that may be found in the coal that is transported on the conveyor belts for the delivery of coal to thermal power plants. The application of the electromagnetic separator is directly related to the system for detecting the presence of metal steel parts (metal detector). In the case of inefficient operation of the system for separation of steel parts from coal, severe accidents can occur in the system for grinding and crushing coal at thermal power plants. The design of the electromagnet presented in this paper was verified in the software package FEMM 4.2. The model is defined as a 2D planar magnetostatic model. At the end of the paper, the final simulation results of this project are presented.

Emission of airborne wear particles from an intermetal $text{Fe}_{3}mathrm{A}1$ and stellite 6 sliding on steel 金属间元素{Fe}_{3} mathm {A}1$和钨铬钴合金6在钢上滑动时空气中磨损粒子的释放

The generation of airborne particles in the friction nodes is an important aspect of modern tribological research. The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the intensity of airborne particles precipitation during friction of dry stellite 6 and $boldsymbol{text{Fe}_{3}mathrm{A}1}$ intermetal after 1.0037 (S235JR) steel. These materials are used on valve seats of internal combustion engines. Abrasion tests were performed on a T-11 pin-on-disc tester. The test conditions were similar to those prevailing during the operation of the valves in the head of the internal combustion engine, disregarding the influence of temperature. The TSI OPS 3330 optical spectrometer was used to measure the intensity of generation of wear particles, which enables the measurement of particles in the range from 0.3 to 10 $boldsymbol{mu mathrm{m}.}$ The obtained results indicate that the $boldsymbol{text{Fe}_{3}text{A1}}$ intermetal in contact with the 1.0037 S235JR steel generates 15% less airborne wear particles in the tested range.

Potential of Edge Computing PLCs in Industrial Automation 边缘计算plc在工业自动化中的潜力

Ongoing industrial revolution - Industry 4.0, driven by a mesh of disruptive new technologies, promises a more effective and productive industrial environment. The challenges that have arisen as a side effect, such as the vast quality of data that needs to be transmitted and processed safely in real-time, require a new computing approach. One of the paradigms being used to conquer this problem is Edge computing which, due to an increase in the performance and enhancement of storage capacities, moves data processing closer to the data origin. This new approach is being applied to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), the core of industrial automation since the 1960s. This paper offers a parallel comparison of state-of-the-art PLCs that are adopting Edge computing principles and their fit in an already complex industrial network.

One Solution of System for Reducing Food Losses in Households based on IoT 一种基于物联网减少家庭粮食损失的系统解决方案

Effects of Neutral Point Grounding Methods on Single-Phase Short Circuit Fault Characteristics 中性点接地方式对单相短路故障特征的影响

Short circuit faults are one of the most common disturbances in power systems that occur because of insulation failure due to a sudden overvoltage condition caused by lightning, switching operations, insulation contamination, etc. Medium voltage power distribution networks use different methods for grounding the neutral point. Influences of these grounding methods on the characteristics of single-phase short circuit fault are discussed in this paper on the example of substation “Bugojno”. Modeling and simulation are implemented in EMTP-RV (Electromagnetic Transient Program-Restructured Version) software. Data recorded by protection system during normal operation and three-phase short circuit fault in the substation are analyzed and used for comparison with simulation results to validate developed model of the observed part of power system. This validated model was then used to analyze the effects of neutral point grounding methods on the characteristics of single-phase short circuit fault.

We study quantum features of electromagnetic radiation propagating in a waveguide built of an infinite array of super-conducting qubits (SCQ) placed within a resonator comprised of two massive superconductors. Such engineered media, so-called superconducting quantum metamaterials (SCQMM), have a great potential for quantum information processing and communications and devise a comprehensive study of the nature of the “light”-matter interaction. We predict the emergence of novel in-terference effects with possible practical applications. For exam-ple, photons may exhibit a nontrivial dispersion relation such as band edges and band gaps. In this way, QMMs may be viewed as photonic crystals. This, in turn, enriches their potential for practi-cal applications and provides novel means for devising compre-hensive studies of both practical and fundamental aspects of the interaction of artificial atoms and the EM field.

Technical Translation and the Internet 技术翻译与互联网

In dealing with technical translation, the Internet has become an inseparable part of a translator's activities, serving both as a translation resource and a translation tool. In this paper, both of the mentioned aspects will be elaborated, from the perspective of technical translation from any of the three official languages spoken in Bosnia and Herzegovina into English and vice versa, with a special emphasis on the second aspect, observed through machine translation engines, such as Google Translate, Microsoft Translator and Glosbe Translate, which will be discussed both in terms of their features and regarding the semantical and grammatical accuracy of translation. Prior to that, some of the key concepts regarding the present-time condition of translation, technical translation and computer-assisted translation will be presented in the introductory part. At the end, the conclusions based on the analysis will be made.
