Introduction. The goal of this study is to gain new insights into meme discourse by reconstructing its linguocognitive model, based on the properties and characteristics of memes, relevant for Internet communicators.Methodology and sources. In order to reconstruct the meme-discourse model the authors combine the method of linguocognitive modelling with the technique of fragmenting the respondents' answers into motivational explications as units of measurement for the obtained data. The meme discourse model is based on the answers of 100 students at I.I. Polzunov Altai State Technical University – “Why do you use memes when communicating?” The choice of respondents is determined by their studying at the Faculty of Information Technology and being advanced Internet users. Results and discussion. Motivational explications of Internet users of why they resort to memes to communicate serve as language material for inferring cognitive foundations for using memes. The most significant cognitive foundation for the use of memes by communicators is the effectiveness of the impact they make (47.3 %). The second cognitive foundation is related to communication productivity: memes help to establish and maintain communication (20,9 %). The third one is the functionality of memes, which facilitates the transmission of content (17,1 %). The fourth one is the format suitable for conveying thoughts and feelings (14,7 %). Based on the concept of discourse, proposed by T. van Dijk and the reconstructed model the authors gain new insights into the nature of meme-discourse.Conclusion. The main conceptual conclusion regarding meme-discourse is that, as a complex communicative phenomenon, it appears to be an important component of sociocultural interaction for its participants. Both the goal and the result of this interaction is to create a positive type of social context maintained and preserved through mutual understanding between the communicants. Memes facilitate finding common points of contact serving as a “package” of positive emotions for communicators’ thoughts and feelings. In this way communicants produce meme-discourse as an actual referential context to share their worldview.

Introduction. This article attempts to present Søren Kierkegaard’s “man in search of God” as a cultural and anthropological type of a person that shapes their self-cognition independently in the dimension of their existence.Methodology and sources. The following sources are referred to in this article: “Fear and Trembling” and “The Gospel of Sufferings” by Søren Kierkegaard; works of ante-revolutionary and modern Russian authors L.I. Shestov, N.A. Berdyaev, B.E. Bykhovsky, P.P. Gidenko, S.S. Khoruzhy, E.N. Levicheva, V.A. Podoroga, V.D. Gubin, L.A. Klyukina; texts by researchers foreign to Russia, such as U. Hubben, T.V. Schitsova. To research and describe the experience of a person’s self-actualization in Kierkegaard’s “movement of faith”, the ideas of M.K. Mamardashvili’s phenomenological approach have been employed. Results and discussion. This article demonstrates that it is not faith but search for faith that is the aim of Kierkegaard’s philosophy and meaning of his existence. This is because only in the “movement of faith” is a person able to actualize their inner self in their outer self, or face their own self that searches for God. For Kierkegaard, the example of this is Jesus Christ. With the help of Christ as symbol, a person is capable of comprehending the soul’s immortality as the metaphysical dimension of a human being. In the context of Mamardashvili’s phenomenological approach, the author of this articles shows that understanding Christ as the symbol of a person’s self-actualization and selffulfillment can be interpreted as the experience of distinguishing between the symbols of time and infinity in consciousness. This very reality of distinguishing between time and infinity and having to choose between them is referred to in this article as “dynamic infinity”, which is equivalent to Kierkegaard’s notions of “movement of faith” and “moment”.Conclusion. The author concludes that in post-modern world, when a typical person is experiencing acutely the loss of fundamental autonomous individuality while the erosion of personal origin in culture is leading to dehumanization and disintegration of society, Søren Kierkegaard’s “man in search of God” can become a reference point for developing an individual thinking and integral personality.

Introduction. The article deals with the problem of the presence in the minds of modern student youth of certain social stereotypes of a liberal persuasion, which seems relevant in connection with the recently adopted law in the Russian Federation banning LGBT propaganda as a trend dangerous to society. The purpose of the study is to determine the ability of student youth to think about issues of sexual morality in a socio-psychological context and to track the formation of a liberal stereotype about the need to legitimize homosexual relations and the possibility of demonstrating them.Methodology and sources. The article uses a socio-psychological approach to the study of liberal stereotypes of modern youth. The methodology is defined by the works of such authors as I.S. Kon, E.M. Dumnova, A.V. Lubsky and others. The works of such authors as M. Regenerus, V.G. Lysov, E.A. Mezentsev, A.G. Shchelkin, L.M. Bogatova and others were considered. The author also used a pedagogical approach, from the standpoint of which the questions of the empirical part of the study were formulated, which led to its novelty. Results and discussion. In the empirical part of the study, 130 students of St. Petersburg universities were interviewed. The answers to the questionnaire testified to the presence in the minds of some young people of logical failures caused by the already formed liberal stereotype, blocking the possibility of critical reflection on the issues of legitimizing the freedom of sexual behavior of a person, including his deviations. The article notes that the deafness to reasonable arguments, as well as the illogicality of its existence in the context of other person’s judgments, is evidence of a stereotype that is fixed in the mind.Conclusion. The results of the study confirmed our assumption that there exist liberal stereotypes in the minds of some students, in particular, the stereotype about the normality of same-sex relationships and the inadmissibility of a ban on their propaganda, which is definitely worrisome.

Introduction. The relationship of IT specialists to representatives of other professional groups is built in different ways – from cooperation to conflicts. The important practical significance of the analysis of this problem actualizes the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for the study and diagnosis of relations between IT specialists and representatives of other socio-professional groups based on an appeal to values. This is important for a holistic understanding of the trends in the development of the social structure of modern society.Methodology and sources. The multi-paradigm platform of work is formed on the ideas of two directions. Firstly, the fundamental principles of the theory of P.A. Sorokin on the sociodynamics of values in the process of social development are used; the ideas of D.A. Leontiev on the connections of individual and group values; approaches to the construction of methodological procedures for diagnosing values, set out in the works of V.A. Yadov and N.I. Lapin. Another part of the study is formed on the provisions M. Grannoweter’s theory of the strength of weak ties. The methodological procedure of the study is based on the technologies for assessing the relevance of professions proposed by J. Holland. Results and discussion. On the basis of network models of relations between IT specialists, it is shown that interaction with professionals of various professional groups is carried out in different ways. The professional groups with which IT specialists develop tense relations are shown, which is due to the specifics of their professional competencies. The sociodynamics of changes in professional values is revealed as the status and role positions of IT specialists change.Conclusion. The conducted research shows that the attitudes of IT specialists to actors of other professional groups of external social interaction are built inconsistently and ambiguously. Relationships between IT professionals and other professions are formed more like relationships oriented towards different values and variables. In this sense, a group of IT professionals can be perceived as a special case. Unlike relationships within the group of IT professionals themselves, relationships with professionals of other specialties are predominantly situational in nature and are more likely determined by some specific conditions and circumstances, specific people and specific factors than by the unity or solidarity of professional values and interests.

Introduction. New trends in the philosophical analysis of higher education development are associated with the prospects for an interdisciplinary approach to organizing coordinated processes in the multidisciplinary university, taking into account the peculiarities of information and intellectual technology of digital culture. The University with the unity of its functional connections presents a complex multilevel ecosystem, which state is determined by the intersection of the interests of various subjects included into the vocational training system. This article examines the convergence processes in the university ecosystem associated with educational strategy planning, in particular with the coordination process between the university goals and expectations of employers and graduates.Methodology and sources. The research is based on the system methodology and principles of the communicative action theory. In the university ecosystem, the key role in the functional connections organization is played by the processes of convergence in relation to the intentions of the participants of interaction in the educational space, the identification of attitudes that motivate cooperation and mutual reinforcement of optimal behavioral strategies. The empirical basis is the statistical data from a number of sociological surveys conducted at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, as well as research data on the target attitudes of companies in their interaction with universities. Results and discussion. Comparison of the level of consistency of companies' requests in finding employees and the educational goals of the university showed a common desire to form a high potential of future employees, which requires pedagogical technologies to motivate and develop project skills and constructive activities. In the university development, an important factor is the formation of a common field of goals and expectations realized in the graduate model, with account of the industry knowledge and new technologies development, as well as formation of skills that characterize the potential of self-development in the future profession.Conclusion. The development of an ecosystem approach in the analysis of modern university activities has revealed prospects for combining university knowledge with practical skills in planning various forms of partnership with business and other representatives of the professional community. Convergence processes in the university ecosystem ensure the interpenetration of pedagogical technologies and agent strategies in achieving high-quality professional training.

Introduction. The topic of this study is a cognitive semantic analysis of the woman/женщина conceptual representation in the localization of the series “The Handmaid's Tale”. Due to the increasing interest in foreign series, the problem of localizing film texts is of particular importance. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the need to study the mass culture products from a linguistic point of view to draw conclusions about the most relevant problems of the modern society.Methodology and sources. The study aims to obtain objective conclusions about the structure and content of the woman/женщина concepts within a given film discourse. In the course of the research, such methods as definition and lexicographic analysis of synonymous lines, continuous sampling method, Antconc machine analysis, as well as a cognitive semantic and comparative analysis of the original and localized text were used. The research material is the first season of the TV series “The Handmaid's Tale”, as well as its Russian adaptation. The amount of the analyzed material is 50 000 words. Results and discussion. The categorical structure of the woman concept consists of 23 cognitive characteristics, which form 13 classification features. The material under study illustrates the equal level of lexical diversity of the original and localized texts. The most common transformation is the replacement of a part of speech since one-to-one correspondences do not always suit the norms of the translating language. Phraseological units included in the nominative fields of the woman/женщина concepts can be divided into 6 categories and nominate a woman as an object of social and personal relations.Conclusion. The woman/женщина concepts in the framework of a given film discourse are constructed around the idea of the subordinate position of a woman. The predominant component is the interpretative field, which includes emotionally and stylistically charged units. Thus, the evaluative essence of the concept under study is doubtless. Translation transformations enabling a translator to reverbalize the concept with minimal losses are widely used in the localization.

The readers are presented with the first part of the translation of an interview that was taken in October 2020 from the German historian Dr. Markus Böick. The interview is devoted to the history of such an organization as Treuhandanstalt, through which the privatization of East German enterprises was carried out after the liquidation of the GDR as a state structure. The first part of the interview talks about what Treuhandanstalt was originally created for, what it later turned into, as well as what problems East Germans faced in the new united Germany.

Introduction. The article presents the results of an analytical review of scientific papers reflecting the stages of formation and development of cognitive poetics as an interdisciplinary research area in Russian linguistics. The purpose of the article is to systematize and critically analyze approaches, concepts and methodological principles of the study of concepts that constitute the cognitive basis of literary texts, authors’ idiostyles and, by extension, of poetic sociolects and literary genres.Methodology and sources. The paper reviews theoretical concepts and approaches (developed by R. Tsur, P. Stockwell, I.A. Tarasova, N.S. Bolotnova, L.O. Butakova, etc.), which served as the foundations of cognitive poetics. A comparative analysis of works focusing on the structure of literary concepts, their textual representation aspect and categorization criteria is carried out. The studies which concentrate on the application of corpus methods in order to analyze literary texts, including the works by B. Fischer-Starcke, D. Siepmann, A. Stefanowitsch, M. Mahlberg, etc., also formed the methodological basis for the analytical review. Results and discussion. As a result of the review study, the evolution of theoretical and methodological approaches to literary concepts and literary texts’ ideospheres is demonstrated. The main concepts that influenced the formation of cognitive poetics are identified; the relevant problems of cognitive studies of poetic and prose texts are analyzed. It’s shown that it is necessary to further consider the problem of identifying dominant concepts of authors’ idiostyles describing cognitive mechanisms that underlie the semantic variability of individual concepts. The importance of using corpus methodology in the study of literary discourse in its synchronic and diachronic perspective is discussed.Conclusion. It is shown that, despite the fact that the author's creative consciousness has been studied intensively and for a long time in Russian cognitive poetics, there are still problems that need further consideration. The following aspects must be analyzed: the criteria for choosing the method of modeling a literary concept, taking into consideration its type; the elaboration of uniform terminology in existing approaches; the development of the algorithms for describing the structure of literary concepts and identifying conceptual dominants of authors’ ideospheres. A conclusion was made regarding the potential of applying corpus research methods in the field of cognitive poetics. A range of the tasks related to the cognitive research of literary texts that could be solved by using statistical methods of corpus linguistics was determined.

Introduction. In the article, the actual problem of the nationalization of modern Russian sociology is associated with the clarification of the logical and historical aspects of the genesis of Russian sociology.Methodology and sources. The theoretical sources of the study were the works of representatives of the Russian tradition of the historiography of sociological doctrines (N.I. Kareev, M.M. Kovalevsky, P.A. Sorokin) and modern Russian historians of sociology (A.I. Golosenko, Yu.N. Davydov). For a comparative analysis of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of Russian sociology, the potential of the biographical method is used and the works of N.Ya. Danilevsky and N.K. Mikhailovsky are involved. The empirical base was made up of materials of public discussions in the Russian media on the nationalization of science and education, and expert assessments. The methodology of socio-cultural analysis, social constructivism, typological approach is used. Results and discussion. The article deals with the connection of the theoretical constructions of the first Russian sociologists with their historical vision and axiological consciousness. In the “paradigm personalities” of Mikhailovsky and Danilevsky, the splitting of the emancipating social thought into science and managerial activity and moral and pedagogical practice was expressed. Criticism of the evolutionist-progressive reading of the formula “Russia and Europe” by Mikhailovsky is expressed in the theoretical distinction between types and stages of social evolution. The non-religious moral and dogmatic attitude of subjective sociology laid at the foundation reduces the content of these categories to the combinatorics of indicators of division/integration, homogeneity/heterogeneity. Her declared orientation towards the moral ideal aroused the sympathy of the Russian intelligentsia, in contrast to the ideas of Danilevsky, a social thinker, an advanced official, and a macroeconomist. The relevance of the typological approach to world history developed by him and the method of modeling comparative types are substantiated. Cultural-historical types are de-ideologized concepts designed to analyze historical events, build models and scenarios for the interaction of “historical individuals” and highlight the essential elements of the potential for their future development.Conclusion. A new stage in the interaction between Russia and Europe is characterized by a crisis of Europe's political subjectivity, a decrease in its role in world economic relations. Turning to the origins of Russian sociology allows us to identify points of divergence in the formulation of the question of the type of subjectivity in Russia, commensurate with its natural and cultural potential, and in the directions of the search for an answer.

Introduction. The relevance of the study is due to the lack of information for analyzing parents' perception of the problems of introducing distance learning in secondary schools in the conditions of COVID-19. The purpose of the study is to compare the specifics of parents' perception of opportunities and problems of distance learning in conditions of self– isolation by parents in different regions of Russia, as well as to identify attitudes that determine the prospects for its further implementation.Methodology and sources. The theoretical base is represented by the works of Russian authors about the family (A.I. Antonov, O.M. Zdravomyslova, G.G. Filippova). A review of foreign studies of parenthood focuses on its socializing function (R. Benedict, A. Cardiner, M. Spiro). A separate block of works is devoted to the problems of the introduction of distance education (Gül Özüdoğru; Lee; Zhao et al; Garrote et al, Bezrukikh et al, R.S. Zvyagintsev, Yu.D. Kershi, M.A. Pinskoy). The study is based on systematic and activity-based approaches that consider parents as one of the most important factors in improving the effectiveness of distance learning. The article presents the results of an on-line survey of parents (N = 1526) in four regions of Russia (Leningrad and Irkutsk regions, Stavropol and the Republic of Bashkortostan). Data processing was carried out using the SPSS program. Results and discussion. The opinion on the implementation of distance learning was studied not only regarding the education of children, but also the possibilities of using technology by parents. The study showed that they quite objectively assess the problems of implementing distance learning. Parents are not inclined to criticize the school, but they doubt the prospects of implementing the technology in the format it was introduced, arguing that it costs a lot for health, unavailability of technical equipment and the level of training of both students and schools. In relation to their training using distance learning technologies, the statements were positive.Conclusion. A comparison of parents' responses by region showed, on the one hand, a commonality of opinions, and on the other, a significant impact on the results of the assessment of socio–cultural specifics associated with the dominant type of management, the demand for digital skills in the regional labor market.
(A.I. Antonov, O.M. Zdravomyslova, G.G. Filippova)。 Zvyagintsev, Yu.D。Kershi, M.A. Pinskoy)。
