The early treatment plan will improve the longevity of patients with agenesies, endodontic and periodontal problems. The surgical technic = autotransplantation of germs is helpful and efficient. Indications, modalities of treatment and results are presented here in a 4 years follow up.

The posterior Bite Collapse is a sequelae of advanced break down. The presence of periodontal inflammation and loss of osseous support can induce teeth migration in a direction partially imposed by occlusal forces. Posterior Bite Collapse often causes mesial drifting of the posterior teeth and flaring of the anterior segments. It may be aggravated by early loss of teeth that are not replaced, by malocclusion or by a neuro muscular disorder.

Monkeys bicuspids were subjected to experimental periodontitis inducing pockets with bifurcation involvement. Light continuous extrusive and intrusive forces were then applied on these bicuspids. The extrusive forces were applied on 3 monkeys; bone apposition was obtained. The intrusive forces were applied on 4 monkeys after pocket surgery and careful root surface scaling. A meticulous hygiene program was then maintained. In these conditions new attachment was gained through intrusion.

Dental transplantation can be a useful and efficious technic. It was first described by Ambroise Pare and the authors have had over 12 years success and failures enough to present clinical cases and illustrations of the surgery and the orthodontic treatment. Success depends essentially on the right indication, the time and the exact methodical technic, reproducible in a treatment plan.

Clefts can present themselves at any time after the eruption of the permanent teeth. The authors describe methods for managing these defects which include both orthodontic movement and periodontal therapy. The treatment differs depending on the dimension of the clefts and its location.

The clinical use of artificial implants or ankylosed teeth as orthodontic anchorage has been reported in the literature. The aim of this paper is to review the published material as a base for the development of the technique.

A case of an atypic hemangioma involving the incisors palatal mucosa of a 12 year old patient is presented here. The biopsy shows some features of hemangioma: blood vessels with large lumen surrounded by endothelial cells, suggesting arteries. A large part of the connective tissue is fibrous and inflammatory. These observations lead us to the diagnosis of fibro angiomatous tumor. The treatment consisted in surgical excision. No recurrence has since occurred.

The Major Histocompatibility Complex is a relatively poorly explored research area among the various immunological aspects of periodontal diseases. After a recall of general concepts, the authors first describe the general HLA-pathology association and then, the reported HLA-periodontal disease associations. HLA theoretical potential interests are multiple. Typing results show, on one hand, no clear correlation with juvenile periodontitis (diminution of A 2, augmentation of A 9, A 28, Bw 15 and Bw 35) but on the other hand, a more constant correlation between HLA A 9 and rapidly progressive periodontitis. Besides, three resistance factors have been reported: A 10, B 5 and A 28.

When closing is difficult to obtain in a filled site at the end of the surgical phase, the use of dried-dura-mater (connective tissue of the brain external envelope) can be very helpful. Placed under a full thickness flap or sutured on a periosteal site, it is, after a week, already continuous with tissues and helps for a good closing. The dura-mater can be shaped and cut differently according to specific clinical situations.

Since the last 15 years, tremendous progress have been made on epidemiology, microbiology, natural history, immunology, and periodontal tissue response to different treatment modalities. Thus, we are able to suggest today a relatively new classification of the different periodontal diseases far from the one based on the concept of "the periodontal disease". This article aims to help clinicians in understanding the classification of such diseases allowing better treatment and eventually better results.
