Sıçan İskeleti Hazırlamak İçin Un Kurdu Kullanımı 非库尔德应用程序准备小鼠骨骼

Anatomi alanında iskelet hazırlamada çeşitli yöntemler kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışma, yemek kurtlarının yumuşak dokuları tüketerek iskelet elde etmek için kullanılıp kullanılamayacağını ve iskeleti ortaya çıkarmanın ne kadar sürdüğünü belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada toplam ağırlığı yaklaşık 110 gram olan 1100 adet un kurdu ve ağırlığı yaklaşık 177 gram olan üç adet sıçan karkası kullanıldı. Un kurtlarının karkas temizleme performansını gözlemlemek için karkasın başlangıç ağırlığı ve son ağırlığı hassas terazi ile ölçüldü. 3.-5. günlerde kaburgalar üzerindeki etin yendiği ve kaburgaların ortaya çıktığı görüldü. Omurga sütunu 6.-8. günlerde daha belirgin hale geldi. 6.-9. günlerde kaburgalar tamamen temizlendi ve uzuv kemikleri görüldü. 9-12 gün arasında kafatası ve uzuvlar tüm detaylarıyla belirgindi. 15. günün sonunda un kurtlarının sıçan iskeletini tamamen açığa çıkardığı belirlendi. Sonuç olarak bu çalışmada, un kurdu ile ilk kez sıçan iskeleti oluşturulmuş ve bu kurtların et tüketim oranları ilk kez belirlenmiştir. Onbeş günde yaklaşık 1100 adet yemek kurdu 159 gr et tüketerek sıçan iskeletini ortaya çıkardı.

Geometric Analysis of Mandible using Semilandmark in Hamdani and Awassi sheep Hamdani和Awassi绵羊下颌骨的半定标几何分析

The aim of this study is to determine whether or not the breed and sex factors have an effect on the shape in the mandibles of Hamdani and Awassi sheep. A total of 31 mandibles were used. The samples were analyzed via geometric morphometric methods by using semilandmark. In the study, it was determined that the primary principal component accounted for 36.52% of the total shape difference. According to principal component analysis, samples were clustered significantly in terms of breed; whereas, they were not clustered in terms of sex. In terms of the primary principal component, the places where the shape differences were concentrated were the attachment sites of teeth to the mandible, between the second molar and ramus mandible, the processus coronoideus and the angulus mandible. Mandible of Hamdani sheep had a higher body than the mandible of Awassi sheep. Mandible of male sheep was more voluminous than mandible of female sheep, especially in the body area. Consequently, it is thought that the data obtained as a result of the study would serve as a reference for the ruminant mandible remains obtained from archaeological excavations.

Determination of In vitro Digestibility and Some Quality Characteristics of Fermented Sucuk Food Produced For Dogs 犬用发酵吸吮食品体外消化率及部分品质特性的测定

The aim of current study was to determine in vitro digestibility, some microbiological properties and shelf life of fermented sucuk foods consisting mixture of animal and vegetable natural goods produced for dogs. Grain-inclusive and grain-free formulations were prepared. Grain-inclusive group was subgrouped as cooked and uncooked grain. In vitro digestibility and chemical composition of 3 groups of sucuk foods were determined at 0, 1, 3, and 6 months after production. Microbiological characteristics (Aerobic colony number, E.coli, coagulase positive Staphylococcus, coliform bacteria, yeast mold, Salmonella spp.), pH, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances(TBARS) and lactic acid levels of sucuks stored in refrigerator(+4°C) were determined at the end of 1, 3, and 6-months of storage. First Case of Chronic Systemic Spironucleosis in Freshwater Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare Schultze, 1823) in Turkey 土耳其淡水天使鱼(Pterophyllum scalare Schultze, 1823)慢性系统性螺旋体增多症的第一例

This study aimed to identify the cause of sustained mortality in freshwater angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare Schultze, 1823) kept at an ornamental fish production facility in Turkey. Parasitological, bacteriological and histopathological examination were performed on moribund hybrid angelfish individuals. The moribund fish had haemorrhaged eyes, darkened skin, scale loss, ascites and false faeces. A pale liver, splenomegaly and a thinning of the intestinal wall were observed internally. The parasitological examination revealed flagellated protozoan endoparasite Spironucleus sp. in the intestine. A number of histopathological changes were observed including lipid degeneration in the liver, hemosiderin deposits as well as granulomas in the spleen, a large number of mast cells in the lamina propria of the intestine and enteritis. Numerous Spironucleus sp. parasites were seen in the intestinal wall. According to physiological and biochemical tests, the bacterial isolates obtained from the visceral organs of some fish were identified as Citrobacter freundii. After oral metronidazole treatment, with a dose of 50 mg/kg fish daily for 5 days, a decrease in fish mortality and resumed feeding were noted. A chronic spironucleosis, which systematically affects fish by penetrating the intestinal mucosa, was identified as the cause of this sustained mortality in freshwater angelfish.

Kızıl tilki dünyada en geniş yayılım alanına sahip yabani karnivordur. Kızıl tilkiler besin zincirinin tepesinde yer almakta ve bu nedenle de birçok parazit türüne ara konaklık veya son konaklık yapmaktadır. Neospora caninum sığır, koyun ve keçilerde atıklara neden olan en önemli protozoal etkenlerden birisidir. N. caninum’un son konakları evcil köpekler ile kurt ve çakal gibi yabani karnivorlar iken ara konakları ise evcil ruminantlar ile kızıl tilki gibi çeşitli sıcakkanlı hayvanlardır. Bu çalışmanın amacı yaban hayatından elde edilen üç kızıl tilkinin beyin örneklerinde N. caninum’un PCR ile araştırılmasıdır. Çalışma ile üç kızıl tilkinin birinde N. caninum DNA’sı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile Türkiye’de ilk kez kızıl tilki beyin örneğinde N. caninum DNA’sı tespit edilmiştir.

Evaluation of postpartum uterine involution in Kıvırcık ewes by pulsed-wave Doppler ultrasonography 脉冲波多普勒超声评价KıvırcıK母羊产后子宫复旧

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of oxytocin and carazolol administration on uterine blood flow by pulsed-wave Doppler ultrasonography (USG) and to evaluate the influences of these drugs on uterine involution. Thirty primiparous suckling Kiwircik ewes were divided into 3 groups: carazolol, oxytocin, and control. The ewes underwent transcutaneous B-mode USG in the 1st week after birth, and the examinations continued via transrectal USG until the 28th day of postpartum (pp). The pulsatility index (PI), resistance index (RI), and systolic/diastolic (S/D) velocity ratio were recorded for uterine artery by Doppler USG. At the end of the 21st day of pp, gravid uterine horn diameter reduction was best achieved in the carazolol-administered group. The PI values were found to be statistically significant (P˂0.001) on days 14, 21 pp. The mean RI values of uterine artery were statistically higher (P˂0.01) in the oxytocin-administered group. The highest RI value was detected on the 14th day of pp. The carazolol group had statistically (P˂0.05) higher mean S/D values when compared to other groups. In conclusion, the most effective drug used to accelerate involution was found to be carazolol. The drugs used in this study appeared to have a contraction effect on the uterine arteries. To the author’s knowledge, the effects of carazolol and oxytocin administration on uterine artery hemodynamics in ewes have not been reported in the literature. Therefore, it will be the first report in this field.

The ewes underwent transcutaneous B-mode USG in the 1st week after birth, and the examinations continued via transrectal USG until the 28th day of postpartum (pp). The pulsatility index (PI), resistance index (RI), and systolic/diastolic (S/D) velocity ratio were recorded for uterine artery by Doppler USG. At the end of the 21st day of pp, gravid uterine horn diameter reduction was best achieved in the carazolol-administered group. The PI values were found to be statistically significant (P˂0.001) on days 14, 21 pp. The \u0000mean RI values of uterine artery were statistically higher (P˂0.01) in the oxytocin-administered group. The highest RI value was detected on the 14th day of pp. The carazolol group had statistically (P˂0.05) higher mean S/D values when compared to other groups. In conclusion, the most effective drug used to accelerate involution was found to be carazolol. The drugs used in this study appeared to have a contraction effect on the uterine arteries. Molecular and serological investigation of Lawsonia intracellularis in weanling foals in Turkey 土耳其断奶马驹胞内裂毛线虫的分子和血清学研究

Equine proliferative enteropathy caused by Lawsonia intracellularis has been described in weanlings in many different countries including the USA, Western Europe, Israel, Korea and Brazil but not investigated in Turkey and Eastern Europe. The objective of the study was to determine the seroprevalence and fecal shedding of L. intracellularis in weanling foals. A cross-sectional study was designed in randomly selected 97 weanling foals with or without clinical signs from 3 different provinces of Turkey. Total protein and albumin levels in serum samples from 97 foals were measured using automated biochemistry analyser. Serum samples and fecal samples were also tested by bELISA and real-time PCR to detect L. intracellularis-specific antibodies and -DNA, respectively. Seropositivity was found to be 25.8% by bELISA. However, none of the fecal samples were positive by real-time PCR. Statistically, no significant associations were found between seropositivity and clinical signs or serum ALB/TP levels. Seropositivity indicated the exposure of weanling foal population to L. intracellularis for the first time in Turkey. Further investigations are needed to better understand the epidemiology of the disease in the weanlings as well as adult horse populations and potential wildlife resorvoirs in the country/region.

Hepatoprotective Effects of Nigella sativa essential oil against Acrylamide-induced Oxidative Stress and Inflammatory Cytokine Changes in Wistar Albino Rats 黑草精油对丙烯酰胺诱导的Wistar白化大鼠氧化应激和炎症细胞因子变化的保护作用

This study was designed to investigate the possible protective efficacy of Nigella sativa essential oil against acrylamide induced liver toxicity. Four groups of 32 male Wistar albino rats were formed. Control group was used as a control. acrylamide was administered to the rats in Group AA by gavage at a daily dose of 40 mg/kg. 10mg/kg dose of Nigella sativa essential oil was administered intraperitoneally to the rats in Group NS. In Group AA+NS, daily acrylamide and Nigella sativa essential oil applications were carried out simultaneously as mentioned above. The trial period lasted 15 days. While acrylamide increased malondialdehyde levels in liver tissue, it decreased glutathione and superoxide dismutase levels. In addition, liver pro-inflammatory cytokine levels increased due to acrylamide administration, while anti-inflammatory cytokine levels decreased due to acrylamide administration.: Concomitant administration of Nigella sativa essential oil with acrylamide significantly reduced oxidative stress and inflammation in liver tissues. In conclusion, our findings emphasized that Nigella sativa essential oil has a potential therapeutic role to prevent acrylamide-induced hepatotoxicity.

4 aylık, 1.9 kg ağırlığında, dişi, scottish shorthair ırkı kedi, Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Hastanesine progressif dispne ve egzersiz intoleransı şikayeti ile getirilmiştir. Yapılan klinik ve radyografik muayenelerde sternumun caudal kısmında dorsal deformasyon ve kalbin sol hemitoraksa yer değiştirdiği belirlenmiştir. Operasyondan önce alınan radyografik görüntüler üzerinde yapılan ölçümlerde frontosagittal index (FSI) ve vertebral index (VI) değerleri 3.5 ve 5.1 olarak ölçülmüştür. Operatif sağaltımda, sternal malpozisyonun düzeltilmesi amacıyla PVC materyalinden hazırlanan eksternal splint, sternebraların etrafından geçirilen sutür materyali ile toraksa sabitlenmiştir. Operasyon sonrası hasta 8 hafta süreyle takip edilmiştir. Operasyondan beş hafta sonra eksternal splint çıkartılmış ve alınan radyografiler üzerinde FSI ve VI değerleri 1.4 ve 11.3 olarak ölçülmüştür. Hastanın postoperatif süreçte dispne ve egzersiz intoleransı problemlerinin ortadan kalktığı görülmüştür. Bunun gibi kemik gelişiminin henüz tamamlanmadığı hayvanlarda eksternal splint uygulamasının başarılı sonuçlar verdiği belirlenmiştir.
