Li. Does Inhaled Corticosteroids Increase the Risk of Nontuberculous Mycobacteria Pulmonary Disease: A Meta-Analysis. Biomed of NTM-PD with the usage of ICS among chronic respiratory patients. Methods: The PubMed, EMBASE and Web of Science databases were applied to identify eligible studies until Nov. 18, 2019. Studies focusing on the correlation between ICS and NTM-PD among chronic respiratory patients were concluded. Odds Ratio (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were extracted and synthesized to evaluate the risk of NTM-PD with the usage of ICS. Heterogeneity was assessed by using Cochran Q and I-square statistics. Sensitivity and subgroup analysis were performed to trace the source of heterogeneity. Results: A total of 5 studies with 20968 chronic respiratory patients were enrolled in current meta-analysis. The pooled OR for the risk of NTM-PD with the usage of ICS was 1.97 (95% CI: 1.45—2.67, I2=77.3%, P=0.001). In sensitivity analysis, Bual’s study was the origin of heterogeneity. In the subgroup analysis, there was a trend towards the increased risk of NTM-PD with the usage of ICS among asthma and COPD patients. In addition, high-dose and current usage of ICS could increase the risk of NTM-PD. A positive relationship was the of ICS and the risk of NTM-PD. In the future, the selection of ICS should be more cautious.

The use of plants for medicinal purposes is not present only in contemporaneity, since the course of human history there was already the search for plants that possessed the curative capacity, even with little knowledge about them, the men of antiquity already used them and distinguished them for the various purposes. Medicinal herbs are fundamental in the treatment of various pathologies, especially in communities isolated from large urban centers [1]. With the advent of navigations it was possible to discover new continents, presenting to the world the great therapeutic arsenal derived from plants, indispensable to modern medicine [2]. Nature has always been a source of charm for man, not only for the useful resources of its food and maintenance, but for being its greatest source of learning and inspiration [3]. Brazil is a privileged country in biodiversity since, of all the plant species in the world, 20% is in The Brazilian territory. Several native or nonnative species face risk of extinction due to the degradation of their habitat and exploratory [4].

The Spherical Inverted Pendulum with Pelvis Width in Polar Coordinates for Humanoid Walking Design. The present communication is a follow up and extension of the paper “The Spherical Inverted Pendulum: Exact Solutions of Gait and Foot Placement Estimation Based on Symbolic Computation” by the same author. The walk design is approached by a 3-D inverted pendulum in a polar coordinate system. The advantage of this model is to easily offer indications of the energy expenditure of an efficient walk. However, the disadvantages that were never recognized by authors previously using this model is that the COG trajectory has to pass through the supporting foot location. This causes an unnecessary and unrealistic waving in the frontal plane during gait. The problem is discussed here and solved by extending the model of the inverted pendulum by introducing the pelvis width and the distance between the hips of the two legs, without adding dynamical complexity. Point; LIPM: Linearized

This prospective study was carried out by retrieving outpatient visit data from registries of Matsunami General Medical Center (Gifu, Japan) and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The data collected from January 2018 to March 2020 was categorized The COVID-19 pandemic has caused substantial disruption to many healthcare services. The purpose of this brief report was to describe changes in the number of outpatient obstetrics and gynecology visits at the medium-sized regional hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Outpatient visit data was retrieved from registries of the medical center and the obstetrics and gynecology department. We compared the number of visits from April 2020 to September 2021 (pandemic period) with those from January 2018 to March 2020 (pre-pandemic). Results: During the pre-pandemic period, approximately 10% of total visits The visits during the initial was significantly lower than the pre-pandemic period (852 49.1 55.3, p<0.05). The refrain from consultation for obstetrics and gynecology care remained throughout the pandemic ± 77.7).

The association between Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 2 (FGFR2) gene polymorphism and expression with breast cancer varies with ethnicity and geographical distribution. Several studies have been conducted with different genotypes of this particular gene polymorphism among various ethnicities throughout the world. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between FGFR2 (rs2981582) gene polymorphism and FGFR2 gene expression with breast cancer in Indian women and also to establish the relative gene expression with different genotypes of the polymorphism, if there is any. Method: A total of 75 cases were selected, out of which 25 were malignant cases,25 healthy controls and 25 benign cases. Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism Polymerase Chain Reaction (RFLP PCR) was used to determine FGFR2 Single Nucleotide Polymorphism and Real Time Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT qPCR) for FGFR2 gene expression. The strength of association was estimated using Odds Ratios (ORs) and 95% Confidence Intervals (CIs). RESULTS: Our results showed that FGFR2 (rs2981582) polymorphism is not significantly associated with breast cancer in Indian women. However, FGFR2 gene expression is significantly increased in breast cancer but the differential gene expression associated with different genotypes (TT / TC / CC) is not significant in both malignant and benign cases. Therefore, we conclude from this study that FGFR2 rs2981582 SNP does not influence the expression of FGFR2 in this population.

The article shows that the current level of physiology does not disclose the biological mechanisms of the organism transition from one range to adapt to a higher with an increase in the regular forces of the stimulus above sub-extreme. A new trend in the physiology of adaptation progredient adaptation, explains the mechanism of increasing the tolerance of the organism, with dependence on Psychoactive Substances (PAS).
