To explore the causal relationship between serum calcium concentration and the risk of COVID-19 in Asian population, this study apply the analysis method of two samples of Mendelian randomization to demonstrate. Methods: Through literature search, the summary statistic data of the whole gene association study (GWAS) related to serum calcium concentration was obtained, and this data was subjected to secondary data analysis. From the large-sample GWAS summary data, the genetic variation closely related to the serum calcium concentration was selected as an instrumental variable. Five models (Inverse variance weighted, MR Egger, Weighted median, Simple mode and Weighted mode) were used for analyzing and evaluating the causal relationship between serum calcium concentration and the risk of COVID-19 with OR value and 95% confidence interval. Results: A total of 8 SNPs were included as instrumental variables in this study. The results of gene pleiotropy test showed that there was no gene pleiotropy (P = 0.54). The IVW results showed that each increase in serum calcium concentration by one standard deviation would reduce the risk of COVID-19 (OR=0.01, 95%CI: 0.0001-0.73, P=0.03). Conclusion: Appropriate supplementation of serum calcium concentration can help prevent the onset of COVID-19.

In 2020, WHO reported that stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide. Stroke recovery is the complex process due to its heterogeneous nature. Identification of reliable recovery biomarkers assist to advance the practice, rehabilitation and recovery after stroke. Objective: This systematic review aimed to assess the biomarkers and predictors of recovery in ischemic stroke. Methods: Case-control studies reporting the biomarkers and predictors of recovery in ischemic stroke patients were identified through PubMed, Wiley online library, Rehab data and PEDro databases. Studies in English language published after the year 2000 were included. Studies on animal models and patients with other psychiatric or neurological condition (other than stroke) were excluded. The Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) was used to assess the quality of studies. Relative levels of recovery biomarkers in post-ischemic stroke patients were compared with the levels found in control subjects. Random effect model was used to calculate the mean effect size of studies. This systematic review was registered with PROSPERO (CRD42020209833). The results of this systematic review are based on 29 studies that covered 2528 participants (case:926 patients, control:1602 participants). A total of 22 markers were reported in this review. The core biomarkers differentiated ischemic stroke’s recovery from controls with good performance: Motor evoked potential [standardized mean difference -2.14, P=0.03], laterality index [standardized mean difference -1.32, P=0.03] and stimulus intensity [standardized mean difference 1.63, P=0.18]. Conclusion: The motor evoked potential, laterality index and stimulus intensity were found as relevant biomarkers that predict motor recovery in ischemic stroke patients.

Phys-ical-Recreational Games to Increase the Participation of Children in the Recreational Activities the Bengochea The present investigation deals with the use of recreational physical games aimed at increasing the participation of boys from 9 – 12 years old in district # 9 of the Bengochea district, Santa Clara municipality, to recreational physical activities; for this, we start with the current diagnosis of participation in activities, based on the interests, tastes and preferences the boys, since passive entertainment has become widespread due to the marked fondness for video games, the use of tablets, computers, smartphones, among others. In order to explore the researched topic, different scientific and technical methods were used that allowed to consult bibliographies of several authors, national and foreign, this allowed to make the selection and evaluation of the implementation of ten physical recreational games, where the boys recognized the benefits of to realize active games, besides the acceptance and impact of these games, before the passive activities that they realized in their free moments.

Comparing the Workplace Organization Method 5s with the 7 Wastes (Muda) in Waste and Failure Background and Objective: The main theme of this article is to discuss and compare the workplace organization method 5S with the 7 wastes (Muda) in waste and failure management tool, in the health care quality management. Methods: The Author of this article has chosen literature review methodology of 18 random research articles and quality management websites. By reviewing the literature, we have chosen 10 different points in 18 articles discussing or agreeing on where 5S and 7 Muda are beneficial. Most of the chosen articles discusses the quality management in the health sector and their benefits. Results: There is a table and SPSS diagram representing the literature review regarding 18 articles including quality management website. Table title is (18 journal articles discusses and agrees to the following 10 points). SPSS diagram clearly shows the number of times each article discusses the chosen 10 points. The 10 points includes the agreement of points beneficial for health sector by using 5S and 7 Muda methodology. Conclusion: To conclude the article, 18 of the articles including the quality management websites agrees on the use of 5S and 7 Muda methodology. Different organization around the globe are using 5S and 7 Muda methodology to get benefits for improvement of their health care system. The step-by-step process of 5S and 7 Muda methodology is smart way to start, monitor, finish and follow up the broken health system in several countries.
