The current distribution within a layered semiconductor sample when a potential difference is applied to two contacts deposited on opposite faces is obtained from the numerical solution for the potential. From this solution a method for determining the resistivity of the sample perpendicular to the layers is derived, when the resistivity along the layers is known. Aus der numerischen Losung fur das Potential wird die Stromverteilung in einer geschichteten Halbleiterprobe bestimmt, an der an zwei auf entgegengesetzten Flachen angebrachten Kontakten eine Potentialdifferenz gelegt wird. Aus dieser Losung wird eine Methode zur Bestimmung der Leitfahigkeit der Probe senkrecht zu den Schichten abgeleitet, wenn der Widerstand in Schichtrichtung bekannt ist.

For a series of ternary compounds made with TCNQ, iodine, and quaternary ammonium the complex dielectric constant at microwave frequency (9.1 GHz) and the thermoelectric power are measured in the emperature range 80 to 300 K. Above a “Peierls-like” transition the thermoelectric power results are discussed in terms of an inrinsic semiconductor with Hubbard gap. For interpretation of the microwave results in the high-temperature phase an interrupted strand model can be applied, whereas in the low-temperature phase the localized electron concept is important. Pour une serie des sels ternaires composes du TCNQ, d'iode et d'ammonium quaternaire, on a etudie, en fonction de la temperature (80 a 300 K), le pouvoir thermoelectrique et la constante dielectrique a und frequence microonde (9,1 GHz). On a associe le comportement du pouvoir thermoeletrique au-dessus de la transition de “type de Peierls” a celui d'un semiconduceur presentant un gap de Hubbard. Pour interpreter les resultats microondes dans la phase haute-temperature on peut appliquer le modele, de segments coupes alors que la phase basse-temperature l'influence de la localization des elerons peut etre impotante.

Alloying behavior is investigated by considering the change of the original electronic structures of the constituent metals and the interactions initiated in between. A co-resonance model is proposed to depict the physical picture of alloy phase formation. It is shown that the model can explain the intrigue alloying behaviors of noble–transition metal systems. Les comportements alliants sont examine par la consideration sur le changement des structures electroniques originals des meteaux constituants et sur les interactions entre les atoms des meteaux constituants. Un modele de la co-resonance est propose pour peindre la peindre physique de la formation des phases alliants. Il est montre que le modele sait expliquer les comportements alliants intrigants des systemes des noble–transition meteaux.
