NATURE-LIKE CURVE MODELING 自然曲线造型

A physical spline is called an elastic rod the cross- section dimensions of which are rather small as compared with the length and radius of its axis curvature. Such a rod when passing through specified points obtains in natural way a nature-like shape characterized with minimum energy of inner stresses and minimum mean curvature. A search for the equation of elastic line is a difficult mathematical problem having no elementary solution. The work purpose: the development of the experimental-rated procedure for modeling a nature-like elastic curve passing through complanar points specified in advance. The investigation methods: methods of piece-cubic interpolation based on the application of polynomial splines and compound curves specified by parametric equations. In the paper there are considered polynomial and parametric methods of the geometric modeling of the physical spline passing through the points specified in advance. The elastic line of the physical spline is obtained experimentally. The investigation results: it is shown that unlike a polynomial model a parametrized model on the basis of Fergusson curve gives high accuracy of approximation if in basic points there are specified tangents to the elastic line of the physical spline with large deflections. Novelty: there is offered a simplified method for the computation of factors of an approximating spline allowing the substitution of the 2n system of nonlinear equations (smoothness conditions) by the successive solution of n systems of two equations. Conclusions: for the modeling of nature-like curves with large deflections there is offered the application of Fergusson cubic spline passing through specified points and touching the specified straight lines in these points. The error of the modeling of the natural elastic line with free ends at n=5 does not exceed 0.4%.

TECHNOLOGICAL DESIGNING NC LATHES BASED ON REGIONAL MACHINERY AND DEVICE DATA BANK 基于区域机械设备数据库的数控车床工艺设计

The manufacturers of NC machine-tools pay little attention to the analysis of consumer requests that is to production and technological conditions typical to the majority of equipment customers. The work purpose consists in the optimization of NC lathe (NCL) technological potentialities based on the analysis of machinery and device characteristics. The scientific novelty of the work consists in a new approach to the substantiation of NC lathes parameters based on their interconnection with machinery characteristics, formation of original data bank on parts of the Uliyanovsk region companies (200,000 of items) presenting different branches of industry: aircraft manufacturing, shipbuilding, machine tool construction, automotive industry, instrument making et al. stage-by-stage parts grouping on the basis of ESKD classifier and the application of a cluster analysis. As a result of investigations there are revealed eight parts groups of revolution solids, design-technological characteristics which should be used as a technological basis for designing and choice of NC lathes (NCL). For all groups of parts there are developed complex parts (CP) generalizing all design-technological characteristics of group parts and group technological operations (GTO) for their production. The substantiation of GTO formation scheme was carried out according to shown costs Cmanuf. for machining a complex part. The design-technological characteristics and schemes of GTO formation are initial data for the definition of basic technological parameters of a new range of NCLs or the choice of the most suitable existing NCL. As a result there are substantiated NCL basic parameters for machining eight groups of parts. The design and production of all eight NCLs should be organized according to block-modular principle that is on a single common element base. To realize this principle there is substantiated a unified structure of functional units of the machine for the creation of all NCLs with different technological potentialities.

MILLING EFFECTIVENESS INCREASE BY MEANS OF HARD-ALLOY COMPOUND END MILLING CUTTERS 采用硬质合金复合立铣刀可提高铣削效率

The investigation purpose: the effectiveness increase of hard-alloy end milling cutters at the expense of new milling cutter design development conventionally called compound milling cutters. The problem solved during investigation: the reveal of the most efficient fields of compound milling cutter use. The scientific novelty of the work: the formation of a new kind of hard-alloy end milling cutter design, to avoid milling cutter destruction in the place of shank end mounting in the chuck of the machine a shank end is made of structural steel and soldered with a hard-alloy cutting part of the milling cutter. As a result of the investigation it was defined: a) compound milling cutters compete with monolithic milling cutters in accuracy during billet production of parts at a lower cost of milling cutters; b) a compound milling cutter with a diameter of 16 mm and a milling cutter length of 92 mm substitute successfully a monolithic milling cutter by production accuracy and ensures cost reduction of a product by 4%; c) a compound milling cutter with a length of 220 mm as compared with a monolithic milling cutter ensures product cost reduction by 38% and applicable for general aims at engineering enterprises.

METHOD FOR PASSENGER RESERVED SEAT CAR LIFE INCREASE 提高汽车乘客预留座椅使用寿命的方法

In the paper there is considered a car basic bearing element – center sill which because of long operation is subjected to corrosion destruction (on surface and in depth). The elimination of such corrosion spots mechanically is not effective and results in local decrease of a unit thickness and also in some cases in through corrosion. The authors of the paper have carried out investigations in places where intensive corrosion took place. For this there were cut out four fragments of the center sill and carried out etching-out and measuring residual stresses and a deformation value from etching depth of each fragment through Davidenkov’s method and CNIITMach’s procedure. As a result of the investigation carried out there is offered a fulfillment of center sill strengthening in the area of intermediate and end girder welding by means of shot cleaning in these areas, and also by additional corrosion resistant coating application on these surfaces. The investigations are carried out through Davidenkov’s method and on the basis of CNIITMach’s procedure. The work novelty: there are defined conditions for corrosion spot formation and technology is developed to ensure units life increase. According to the results of the investigations carried out there is made a conclusion: for the purpose of decrease and exclusion of corrosion processes and service life increase of both the center sill and a car in the whole it is necessary to carry out strengthening center sill elements in the areas of intermediate and end girders welding by means of the shot cleaning fulfillment in these places, and also an additional corrosion resistant coating application on these areas.

VIBRATORY ACTIVITY INVESTIGATION OF GRINDING MACHINE ELECTRIC SPINDLES 磨床电主轴振动活性研究

The purpose of this work is to support dynamic properties of spindle units in grinding machines. For this there are problems under solution for the definition of the origin of the constituents in the spindle unit vibratory activity by means of the linear increase of electric spindle rotation frequency, obtaining and analyzing a vibratory acceleration signal for the possibility to determine a preload. The vibratory acceleration signal was investigated through a spectrum analysis method. A scientific novelty of investigation consists in the substantiation of possibility to determine a preload by means of the spectrum analysis of a vibration acceleration signal at the linear increase of spindle rotation frequency that is at starting. It gives, in its turn, a possibility for the automated estimate of the spindle unit state before cutting beginning. In the experimental way there are obtained temporal realizations of the vibratory acceleration signal at different efforts of the preload. A high-speed grinding motor-spindle is as a basic element of the bench, which was investigated through the methods of testing diagnostics in the operation. In the bench design there were made some alterations. The bench was supplemented with the systems essential to support motor-spindle full operation, in particular: with systems of lubrication, cooling and drive control. There was revealed a large number of harmonics multiple to 50 Hz, which tells of the connection with the frequency of power supply circuit. Their coincidence with the own frequencies of the spindle unit results in the considerable increase of their amplitudes. To increase dynamic quality one should avoid the cases of the coincidence of switching frequencies and circuit harmonics with own frequencies of the electric spindle. It is also necessary to bring a form of power voltage to a pure harmonic oscillation to decrease the impact of a drive electromagnetic field upon dynamic characteristics of the spindle unit.

ASSESSMENT AND FORECASTING OF FREIGHT CAR TECHNICAL STATE 货车技术状态评估与预测

The purpose of this work is the assessment and forecasting of freight car technical state at life stages. The scientific novelty consists in the definition of car operating run-up to the first failure and between failures, and also in the definition of car life to considerable repair fulfillment from the operating run between failures and development of a graphical model of freight car reliability. As a result of the statistic modeling of gondola car operating runs up to the first failure it is defined that the given random value conforms to a normal distribution law, the first car setoff in TOR due to wear failure takes place at the operating run of 85,000 km. Besides the operating run-up to the first failure there was defined an operating run-up between failures. It is proved that the operating run-up between failures conforms to the exponential law of distribution, the mathematical expectation of which is 13,000 km. The results of investigations mentioned above formed the basis of the graphical model of car reliability. An inter-repair service life of a car can be represented as a sum of the following operating run-ups: operating run-ups to the first failure, the product of operating run-ups between failures and the number of failures and a residual operating run-up (from the utmost current repair to the nearest scheduled repair). On the basis of the mentioned it is expedient to consider a technology for the realization of an enlarged repair with the purpose of the repetition exclusion in car setoffs during the inter-repair term. On the basis of the simulator there is obtained the dependence of the frequency of car enlarged current repair fulfillment depending on average operating run-up between failures. At present an enlarged current repair must be carried out only for gondola cars in the planned order after having reached 80,000 km. The repair mentioned can be carried out both under depot conditions, and under conditions of repair workshops. The advantage of such a system of repair consists in the increase car work reliability during the inter-repair term.

RADIAL STIFFNESS ANISOTROPY OF BODY BORING FOR LATHE SPINDLE BEARINGS 车床主轴轴承镗体径向刚度的各向异性

In the paper there are considered problems connected with the radial stiffness anisotropy of body borings for lathe spindle bearings. Factors having an influence upon stability of its operation characteristics of a machine-tool during idling are considered. The analysis of force factors having an influence upon bearings of a spindle unit during lathe idling is carried out. The work purpose is to determine a quantitative and qualitative situation in the changes of boring forms for spindle bearings under the impact of loads mentioned. As an object of investigations there is chosen the lathe “Vector” manufactured at the Middle-Volga machine-tool plant. A finite element modeling is carried out for deformation investigations in the body boring of the spindle unit under the impact of forces caused by weight and imbalance of the rotating spindle. There is shown a geometrical model of a spindle carrier body, the peculiarities of a finite element model formation and a procedure for the fulfillment of a numerical experiment are described, and approaches of boundary conditions setting are also considered. As a result of a finite element there are obtained values of finite element unit displacements lying on the surface of the body boring of the spindle carrier under the impact of the mentioned power factors. The results found are presented for illustration in the form of solid and flat graphical dependences. The analysis of numerical experiment results has confirmed the presence of the stiffness anisotropy in spindle unit bearings. The phenomenon of stiffness anisotropy in bearings was already under consideration in investigations carried out earlier. But the results of the numerical experiments carried out by us have shown that along with other factors the imbalance forces together with design peculiarities of body parts have an influence upon the constancy of elastic characteristics of bearings. The matter obtained can be used during development of measures for design changes in a spindle unit body with the purpose of stiffness anisotropy decrease in the borings for bearing.

The paper is dedicated to the increase of reliability, life, resource and decrease of costs for maintenance of micro-turbine installations at the expense of rotor bearing timely maintenance and decrease of total work time of the installation in the mode of catastrophic wear. In the paper there is described a method for the active monitoring of rotor bearing state of the micro-turbine installation allowing timely notification of the workers in charge about essential turbine generator maintenance. The solution offered is fundamentally new in this field of investigations as it was not used earlier for the control of rotor bearing state of turbine generators. In the paper there are enumerated all components essential for the operation of the system and a method for their connection. A process for adjustment and updating the solution offered is described. As a basic component of the system for data collection there is used Arduino Uno controller. As a main software component is chosen Zabbix 5.0 monitoring system. The objects under investigation are described, and there are presented conclusions on effectiveness and economic purposefulness of the solution offered.

SWIVEL JOINT WEAR-RESISTANCE INCREASE OF PROCESSING MACHINE MANIPULATORS 加工机械机械手旋转接头耐磨性提高

The work purpose: the choice of promising design-technological ways to support high indices of wear-resistance and friction costs decrease with regard to conditions of parts operation in swivels. The research methods: the set of tribotechnical researches on wear-resistance, on friction loss and physical and chemical parameters. The novelty: there are offered fundamentals for development of new designs of sliding bearings with increased wear-resistance at the expense of the favorable stressed state formation in functional layers, and also thermal physical and damping indices. Investigation results: support of increased thermal conductivity and thermal capacity increase of the materials under consideration gives possibility to increase considerably the friction unit efficiency in swivels, and also at the expense of thermal power accumulation with structural constituents of materials. Wear-resistance increase in the friction unit is provided with the formation of residual compression stresses in a functional surface layer, and the presence of an expanded spring in the bearing system contributes to the increase of its damping characteristics. Conclusions: the design and technological methods offered for working capacity increase and life increase of swivel parts allow assuring increased mechanical and tribological characteristics to a considerable extent and optimizing thermal modes.

There are problems unsettled by manufacturers and installers of ventilation equipment during the design and definition of economy of its use connected with the absence of taking into account specific peculiarities of conditions for its operation and definition of reliable initial data for designing that causes errors during designing and unjustified expectations of a customer. There are obtained analytical dependences allowing the definition of reliable initial data for designing ventilation equipment with the recuperator of the heat of air removed for the specific conditions of operation in an engineering workshop. On their basis there is developed an algorithm for the computation of money savings taking into account actual energy consumption in value terms while overcoming aerodynamic resistances, a technique for the automated choice of essential equipment is also shown. The problem of the theoretical definition of incoming air temperature at the output of the recuperator Tin. air re. is solved. For computation automation there is carried out an approximation of data by mean temperature Tatm during diurnal hours Tatm day and nocturnal ones Tnoct. of the day for the last ten years for the eastern areas of Belarus and regression equations are obtained. The algorithm obtained in combination with analytical dependences for the definition of the condensate volume formed in the recuperator at the efficient arrangement of the ventilation equipment make a methodology for the complex approach at designing ventilation equipment with the heat recuperator for enterprises of engineering industry. The methodology mentioned allows designing a ventilation system for the workshop of an engineering enterprise in accordance with specific conditions of its operation it also allows defining a reliable value of economy of funds taking into account actual loss.
