Objective To investigate the levels of self-compassion, coping style and job burnout of nurses in Operating Room, and to explore the relationship between self-compassion, coping style and job burnout. Methods Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 263 nurses in the Operating Room of five tertiary hospitals in Beijing and Wuhan were surveyed through the General Data Questionnaire, the Self-compassion Scale (SCS) , Simple Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) , and the Maslach Job Burnout Scale from June to July in 2019. The level of self-compassion and job burnout of nurses in Operating Room were analyzed and the correlation between the self-compassion, coping style and job burnout was analyzed by Pearson linear correlation analysis. Results A total of 259 valid questionnaires were collected. The nurses in the Operating Room scored (86.42±12.84) points for self-compassion, (1.88±0.57) points for positive coping style, (1.26±0.52) points for negative coping style, and (44.04±19.92) points for job burnout. Pearson linear correlation analysis showed that the total self-compassion score of nurses in the Operating Room was negatively correlated with job burnout (r=-0.549) , self-compassion was positively correlated with positive coping style (r=0.556) , positive coping style was negatively correlated with job burnout (r=-0.362) , and negative coping style was positively correlated with job burnout (r=0.275) (all P<0.01) . Conclusions The Operating Room nurses have a moderate level of self-compassion. The higher the level of self-compassion. the more likely to adopt a positive coping style to reduce job burnout. Operating Room managers should also fully recognize the positive significance of self-compassion, help Operating Room nurses improve self-compassion level, promote the formation of positive coping styles, and reduce Operating Room job burnout. Objective To explore the retinopathy knowledge, attitude and behavior of inpatients with diabetes mellitus and their correlation factors and analyzed the influencing factors. Methods This study was cross-sectional. From December 2018 to June 2019, a total of 392 inpatients with diabetes mellitus at a Class Ⅲ hospital were selected by convenience sampling and their knowledge, attitude, behavior and retinopathy were investigated with the diabetic retinopathy knowledge, attitude and behavior questionnaire and the color fundus photograph. Results Among 392 diabetic inpatients, 267 diabetic inpatients with retinopathy and 123 of them needed treatment. There were 20.9% (82/392) of patients with high-level of retinopathy knowledge, 10.5% (41/392) of them with the positive attitude and 7.9% (31/392) of them with good behavior. Multiple regression analysis showed that the related factors of the total scores of retinopathy knowledge, attitude and behavior were the retinopathy stage and diabetic course (P<0.01) ; knowledge related factors were the genders and retinopathy stage (P<0.01) ; attitude related factors were the treatment methods of diabetes mellitus, retinopathy stage and diabetic course (P<0.01) ; behavior related factor was the retinopathy stage (P<0.01) . Conclusions Inpatients with diabetes mellitus have the low levels of retinopathy knowledge, attitude and behavior which points out that medical staff should pay more attention to the improvement of the retinopathy knowledge, attitude and behavior, especially in the patients with the low levels of diabetic knowledge, family incomes monthly, short diabetic courses and without severe retinopathy. Medical staff should also make diabetic knowledge popular and improve the patients' attitudes with regular fundus examination for diabetic retinopathy to promote the good fundus examination behavior. Objective To explore the effects of clinical nursing path model on depression and anxiety among rectal cancer patients with stoma. Methods From January 2017 to December 2018, this study selected 100 rectal cancer patients with stoma in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. All of patients were randomly divided into control group and intervention group with the method of random number table, 50 cases in each group. Patients of two groups all received routine nursing. On the basis of routine nursing, observation group carried out the intervention based on the clinical nursing path model. Depression and anxiety before and after intervention was assessed with the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) . Results Before intervention, there was no statistical difference in the scores of PHQ-9 of patients between two groups (t=0.116, P=0.908) . After intervention, the score of PHQ-9 of intervention group was lower than that of control group with a statistical difference (t=6.083, P<0.01) , and lower than that before intervention also with a statistical difference (t=7.676, P<0.01) . Before intervention, there was no statistical difference in the scores of GAD-7 patients between two groups (t=0.227, P=0.821) . After intervention, the score of GAD-7 of intervention group was lower than that of control group with a statistical difference (t=9.249, P<0.01) ; scores of GAD-7 of two groups were lower than that before intervention also with statistical differences (P<0.01) .
