Objective To explore the mediating effect of emotional labor between professional values and job burnout among ICU nurses, and to provide a reference for reducing ICU nurses' job burnout and motivating their work enthusiasm. Methods From June to July 2017, 276 ICU nurses from 3 comprehensive ClassⅢ Grade A hospitals in Nanchang were selected as the subjects by convenience sampling. The General Information Questionnaire and Nurses' Emotional Labor Scale, Professional Values Scale and Job Burnout Scale were used to investigate. Structural equation model was used to explore the mediating effect of emotional labor between professional values and job burnout. Results A total of 276 questionnaires were issued and 249 valid questionnaires. The average score of the Nurses' Emotional Labor Scale of 249 ICU nurses was (3.55±0.45) , the average score of the Professional Values Scale was (3.63±0.41) , and the dimensions scores of the emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment of the Job Burnout Scale were (2.77±1.07) , (1.54±1.26) , and (3.78±1.16) . The structural equation fitting indexes were as follows: χ2/df=1.155, GFI=0.976, AGFI=0.942, RMSEA=0.027. Professional values and emotional labor of ICU nurses had direct predictive effect on job burnout. Professional values also used emotional labor as an intermediary variable, which indirectly affected job burnout. Conclusions Nursing managers should pay attention to reducing the job burnout of ICU nurses by improving the level of ICU nurses' professional values and optimizing their emotional labor strategies from the individual factor level. Objective To investigate the symptoms of patients with oral cancer during treatment, and explore the types of symptom groups and their correlation with quality of life. Methods Totally 201 patients with oral cancer after surgery were selected as the subject from a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital using convenient sampling and investigated with the MD Anderson Symptom Inventory for Head and Neck cancer (MDASI-HN) and University of Washington Quality of Life Questionnaire (UW-QOL) , and explore the relationship between them. Results Totally 189 patients completed the questionnaire. Patients with oral cancer showed many symptoms during the progression and treatment of the disease. Serious symptoms included swallowing, chewing and speaking. Exploratory factor analysis revealed three symptom groups, namely, oral and throat symptom group, drowsiness-digestive tract symptom group, and fatigue-respiratory symptom group. The scores of different dimensions and the total scores of quality of life were negatively correlated with the total scores of the three symptom groups (P<0.05) . Conclusions There are multiple symptom groups in patients with oral cancer during postoperative rehabilitation, which seriously affect their quality of life. Medical workers should grasp this characteristic, evaluate symptoms in time, actively manage symptom groups, and improve the quality of life of patients. Objective To explore the effects of psychological nursing on treatment in anterior tooth injury young patients with fiber splint fixing. Methods From September 2016 to September 2019, this study selected 110 anterior tooth injury young patients with fiber splint fixing in Emergency Comprehensive Treatment Center at Beijing Stomatological Hospital as subjects by convenience sampling. All of patients were randomly divided into routine nursing group (n=58) and psychological nursing group (n=52) . Routine nursing group carried out the routine nursing. On the basis of that in routine nursing group, psychological nursing group implemented psychological nursing. Patients of two groups were investigated with the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) to explore the anxiety of patients with different nursing interventions; and the postoperative satisfaction and compliance of patients were compared between two groups. Results The scores of SAS in psychological nursing group were lower than those in routine nursing group 2 and 4 weeks after surgery with statistical differences (P 0.05) . The postoperative satisfaction of patients in psychological nursing group was higher than that in routine nursing group with a statistical difference (P 0.05) . The compliance of brushing their teeth as required and without biting hard object among patients in psychological nursing group were higher than those in routine nursing group with statistical differences (P<0.05) . Conclusions Psychological nursing can reduce anxiety in anterior tooth injury young patients with fiber splint fixing, which also improve patients satisfaction and postoperative compliance, and has a positive role in treatment.
