This presentation deals mainly with wind turbines of low power, which are the base of mobile electrical installations used in agriculture, geological field parties, uninhabited areas where pipelines run, for cathodic protection, etc. In the stationary version, low-power renewable energy sources based on wind turbines can be used as backup power devices by the Ministry of Emergencies, as well as in the equipment of the road network. The basis of such wind turbines is constituted by permanent magnet generators, which have structural simplicity and high reliability. The article discusses the optimal control of the electric drive and the analysis of the linear current diagram.

This paper introduces a new programming language for control software specification. The language called poST is a process-oriented extension of the IEC 61131-3 Structured Text language widely used in the PLC domain. The poST language enables control software specification as a set of interacting FSM-based processes that have event-driven behaviour and operate with time intervals. The language is intended to provide a possibility to use the process-oriented approach for IEC 61131-3 users and comparing to the other process-oriented languages poST is easy to learn for the IEC 61131-3 community. An IDE for poST was developed with Eclipse (Xtext) toolset. Paper illustrates the poST language using for a hand dryer control software: we provide the source poST code and the generated C code for Arduino (ATmega 168) platform.

Stability, vibration-free processing of various products types on multioperational machines indicates an improvement in research in the field of machine dynamics and their main forming units. Three-dimensional models of the forming units for multioperational drilling-milling-boring machine in the CAD-KOMPAS-3D environment have been developed. An algorithm for analyzing the dynamic quality of machines elastic parts based on the constructed model of a two-mass system in the form of a second-order differential equations set is proposed. The transfer function of the disturbing force is obtained and the structural diagram of the machines technological complex is presented. A procedure for the experimental determination of the static and frequency formulars in the MAPLE mathematical environment is proposed for a milling machine of the second standard size. The obtained forms allow you to control the process of forming using a wide range of tooling. An algorithm for assessing the vibration resistance of a multioperational machine based on the two-parameter D-partitions method is presented. The region and the boundary of the machine stable functioning were found and, based on this, the optimal processing modes were identified by the criterion of vibration resistance. The results obtained make it possible to control the cutting process at the boundary of the maximum capabilities of a multioperational machine in terms of its dynamic quality.

The article presents a population-based algorithm for solving multidimensional optimization problems using a hierarchical multi-population approach. Specific operators are used to supporting a diverse population of solutions, as well as expanding the search space by less promising solutions. The authors evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm on a set of multivariate functions of Schwefel, Rosenbrock, Rastrigin, and Grivank. The performance of the developed algorithm is compared with the performance of competing algorithms. The researchers register here significant statistical differences. In its turn, it proves in favor of a scalable evolutionary algorithm. Such a tendency is observed for all the considered functions with an increasing dimension of the problem.

In this paper the plastic sorting system of the waste processing line is considered. Plastic is a valuable raw material for recycling but only 10% of plastic waste is processed nowadays in Russia. Two main methods of waste recognition are applied in two separation stages: spectrometry and computer vision. The implementation of municipal solid waste sorting system using the near infrared and visible spectrum spectrometers can significantly increase the efficiency of separation process in comparison with manual sorting. But the quality of separation is still low because this plastic cannot be separated by color using this method and a lot of impurities are included. The evident conclusion is the need for two-stage of sorting process: the rough but fast sorting using spectrometry and fine sorting using optical methods. Another issues of this paper are related to optical recognition subsystem: we propose a fast multi-level recognition system, the first level is the detection of the object presence on the line and the analysis of camera focusing, the second is the classification of the plastic object using the joint solution of several neural networks. This approach helps to decrease the total operating time by estimating the necessity of neural network running and by avoiding the blurred and faulty image processing.

The paper describes an approach to the image borders detection that is based on the use of the weight model and the operation of the morphological gradient calculating. The proposed method relates to multiscale image segmentation methods that use the Haar orthogonal wavelet transform. The border detection procedure includes smoothing the original image, building the weight model of the image (weight image), smoothing the weight image, setting the threshold weight value, performing threshold transformation of the weight image to form a binary image, and performing gradient morphological processing of the binary image. The described method allows segmenting the original image to extract information about the borders. This information is used to calculate attributes and their analysis in computer vision systems.

Automation of shift-daily planning for the formation and passage of trains is carried out by searching for the optimal flow on a specially designed network graph. The nodes are events on the train schedule plane – in distance-time coordinates. The resource flow units in the graph are cars. The graph edges are the phases of the resource life cycle: such as carriage idling at a station, movement of a carriage as part of a train, etc. The optimization is carried out by the Goldberg preflow-push method. The algorithm is modified to work with distinguishable flow units, adapted for the task of forming and disbanding trains from cars at stations. Various scenarios of the local train environment of trains and methods of their processing are considered. Successful testing of the algorithm on the model of the Trans-Baikal road is performed.

To build a digital twin of the main assembly line, the programming language SimTalk 2.0 was used, which was integrated into the Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software. The project is a technological concept focused on continuous optimization of production processes, efficient use of resources through the formation of advanced production strategies, planning and logistics. The paper describes the general structure and operation principles of the intelligent predictive diagnostics system for the condition of the main components and aggregates of a truck. The proposed system allows real-time assessment of the current value of the remaining resource of the main components and assemblies of a truck, taking into account the actual operating conditions. Also, it allows to record the transition of vehicle subsystems to the pre-critical state. The actual operating conditions are taken into account and the actual value of the residual resource is calculated by introducing a special raising factor that determines the increased consumption rate of the vehicle subsystems resource. The value of this coefficient at any time is determined by mining data about the current operating conditions of the selected subsystem using fuzzy logic. The article provides a list of the main subsystems of the vehicle and their components, for which it is considered expedient to determine the residual resource using intelligent methods, as well as examples of the construction of calculation algorithms. The use of the proposed intelligent predictive diagnostics system will significantly increase the efficiency of using trucks, reduce the cost of current repairs and maintenance, and significantly increase the reliability of transport and logistics systems.
