Multiple chaos generator by Neural-Network-Differential-Equation for intelligent fish-catching 基于神经网络微分方程的智能捕鱼多重混沌发生器

Continuous catching and releasing experiment of several fishes makes the fishes find some escaping strategies such as staying stationary at corner of the pool. To make fish-catching robot intelligent more than fishes' adapting and escaping abilities from chasing net attached at robot's hand, we thought something that goes beyond the fishes' adapting intelligence will be required. Here we propose a chaos-generator comprising Neural-Network-Differential-Equation(NNDE) and an evolving mechanism to have the NNDE generate chaotic trajectories as many as possible. We believe that the fish could not be adaptive enough to escape from chasing net with chaos motions that have many different chaos, since unpredictable chaotic motions of net may go beyond the fishes' adapting abilities to the net motions. In this report we introduce the chaos generating system by NNDE, which can produce many kinds of chaos theoretically, and then analyze the chaos with Lyapunov number, Poincare return map and initial value sensitivity.

Development and validation of a coordinated voltage controller using real-time simulation 基于实时仿真的协调电压控制器的开发与验证

This paper describes the process of developing and validating controller concepts using real-time simulation capabilities. The process from the proof-of-concept to the prototype and finally to the realization and the advantage of testing in a real-time simulation environment is demonstrated in a test case. The test case is based on an example in the safety critical domain of electric power systems - the coordinated voltage controller of the DG-DemoNet project. The possibilities and advantages of controller-hardware-in-the-loop (C-HIL) concepts compared to offline simulation are discussed.

An interactive rule based event management system for effective equipment troubleshooting 一个交互式的基于规则的事件管理系统,用于有效的设备故障排除

This paper presents an interactive rule based event management system (IREMS) design for effective equipment maintenance. A knowledge model comprising of fishbone like diagram and a Bayesian Network (BN) based model is proposed for knowledge extraction and representation. An interactive mechanism with BN for knowledge updating is proposed and implemented. The prototype system with case study has demonstrated the capability of the proposed system which has features of easy knowledge acquisition model, and interactive mechanism for communicating with field engineers in troubleshooting process. It can be used to support the decision-making effectively at various stages of troubleshooting of complex equipment.

Investigation of a dynamic braking scheme for switched reluctance motor drives 开关磁阻电机驱动的动态制动方案研究

Switched reluctance motors (SRM) have the advantages of ease for manufacturing, low-cost, and robustness in withstanding centrifugal force. Therefore, they are particularly suitable for high speed applications. However, when running at high speeds, rapid braking becomes difficult since the rotor holds a large kinetic energy. Although applying negative torque can stop the motor effectively, it may also raise the DC link voltage to a critical level if a conventional AC-DC rectifier front is used. In this paper, the relationship between regeneration energy and DC link voltage is investigated, and an electric braking scheme employing multi-phase excitations is proposed. During braking, instead of regenerating back to the DC link, the excessive rotor kinetic energy is dissipated in the winding resistance. Therefore, the motor can stop safely in a short time. The proposed control scheme is verified experimentally with a four-phase SRM.

Study on the controllability of double parallel magnetic suspension system considering magnetic polarity 考虑磁极性的双并联磁悬浮系统可控性研究

The controllability of double parallel magnetic suspension system with hybrid magnet is studied analytically. The most basic magnetic suspension system consists of a suspended object (floator), an electromagnet and a power amplifier. In double parallel magnetic suspension, two floators and electromagnets are controlled with a single power amplifier. Parallel magnetic suspension systems are classified according to the output of power amplifier and the connection of coils. The controllability of each type system has been already studied. When hybrid magnets are used for suspension, however, another classification must be considered, which is magnetic polarity. This paper discuss the controllability of double parallel magnetic suspension with different polarities.

A self-tuning PI decentralized control of web transport system 网络传输系统的自调优PI分散控制

In a web transport system, the velocity and tension of web are in general controlled by using a decentralized structure where the interference force exists between neighboring subsystems. This paper shows a self-tuning decentralized control system design using the overlapping decomposition method, and discusses the experimental results. The self-tuning function is composed of the particle swarm optimization block to estimate the system parameters and the control input calculation block working based on the generalized minimum variance criterion. The experimental system includes 12 rolls, 4 motors, and 4 tension sensors. The experimental results show that the PSO is successfully executed within a sampling time and that we had a satisfactory performance in the presence of mutual interactions. Besides, there are only two control system parameters to be specified by the designers.

Sensor-less Sliding Mode Control of a stand-alone wound rotor synchronous generator with unbalanced load 负载不平衡单机绕线转子同步发电机的无传感器滑模控制

This paper presents a Sliding Mode Control for a wound rotor synchronous machine acting as an isolated generator connected to an unbalanced load. In order to simplify the control methodology, the standard dq-model of the machine is connected to a balanced resistive load. A switching function is defined in order to fulfill the control objective. From the desired surface, the standard sliding methodology is applied to obtain a robust and very simple controller. Then, the actual measured voltage of the machines is acquired and treated trough a frequency locked loop algorithm in order to extract the positive sequence and control it to guarantee a good definition of the park transformation. A phase locked loop algorithm is also used to avoid speed sensors. Numerical simulations a validate the control law and show good performance and a fast response to load and reference changes.

This paper deals with a new wireless EMG/ECG real-time streaming system for the universal man-machine interface. The system mainly consists of two components, that is, “the intelligent electrode” and an acquisition host. The intelligent electrode is a small wireless device to be put on the surface of human body to measure EMG or ECG and transmit them out. It can acquire 11-bit digital data with 2 k samples/s speed as well as can transmit all the data to an acquisition host (which is typically a PC) in real time like streaming by using ZigBee wireless technology. In this paper, the author introduces the newest design of the intelligent electrode and some important performances of the prototype devices is verified.

Combining CMOS and MEMS technologies in a monolithic system for observing filter pollutions 将CMOS和MEMS技术结合在一个单片系统中用于观察滤波器污染

The combination of CMOS and MEMS technologies in principle opens new potentials for the creation of complex, compact, reliable solutions. Within the current research work a “SmartFilter” module to observe the pollution of filters in suction and filtering systems has been developed, provided with piezoresistive pressure sensor, controller core, power management, digital and analog signal processing as well as an RFID interface to allow wireless transfer of energy and data. The system design, the RFID-frontend including an antenna, aspects of analog signal design and packaging are discussed. Basis of the innovation is the integration of a pressure sensor fabrication module into a modern 350 nm CMOS mixed-signal semiconductor technology.

Silicon carbide JFET resonant inverter for induction heating home appliances 用于感应加热家用电器的碳化硅JFET谐振逆变器

This paper presents a one switch silicon carbide JFET normally-ON resonant inverter applied to induction heating for consumer home cookers. The promising characteristics of silicon carbide (SiC) devices need to be verified in practical applications; therefore, the objective of this work is to compare Si IGBTs and normally-ON commercially available JFET in similar operating conditions, with two similar boards. The paper describes the gate circuit implemented, the design of the basic converter in ideal operation, namely Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) and Zero Derivative Voltage Switching (ZVDS), as well as some preliminary comparative results for 700W and 2 kW output power delivered to an induction heating coil and load.
