A Novel ATM Security System using a User Defined Personal Identification Number With the Aid of GSM Technology 基于GSM技术的自定义个人识别码ATM安全系统

In contrast to the past, Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are widely used due to their simplicity and extensive availability. Presently, ATM systems use no more than an access card which usually has a magnetic stripe (magstripe) and a fixed Personal Identification Number (PIN) for identity verification. Some other cases utilize a chip and a PIN which sometimes has a magstripe in case the chip fails as a backup for identification purposes. This method is not very secure and prone to increase in criminal activities. The need for a novel, simple as well as secure method of access is thus imperative. In the present work, a PIN is generated by the user and this PIN is made available to the ATM system by the means of a Subscriber Identity Module(SIM) in the user’s Mobile Phone. This information is communicated to a Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) module embedded into the ATM’s functional framework. This method of security is more stable than the traditional methods presently in use. The method presented is dynamic due to the possibility of changing the User Defined PIN(UDPIN) in each and every transaction. Losing the access card no longer becomes a big problem to the user and the need for immediate deactivation is also eliminated. It can also be enhanced by including other security features without large number of modifications. A simple prototype employing this security function has been implemented and the results are verified. The proposed system has been tested extensively and proves to be a simpler and better security measure.

Electrochemically Grown Potassium Ferrocyanide Doped Conducting Polymeric Rhodamine b Nanodots Modified Graphite Based Fluorescence Supercapacitors 电化学生长亚铁氰化钾掺杂导电聚合物罗丹明b纳米点修饰石墨基荧光超级电容器

Quantum dots based supercapacitors created a dramatic improvement in energy storage system. Herein, we reports a novel member of fluorescent supercapacitor has been fabricated from rhodamine b dye. In this work, Potassium ferrocyanide doped in the polymeric rhodamine b nanodots which were directly grown at the surface of graphite electrodes using cyclic voltammetry. Potassium ferrocyanide doped polymeric rhodamine b nanodots enhanced the specific conductance (320.0 F/g), and better long term cycling stability which are 2 to 3 times higher than individual polymeric rhodamine b nanodots as well as potassium ferrocyanide modified graphite electrodes. Interestingly, the electrochemical activity of the fluorescent Potassium ferrocyanide doped in the polymeric rhodamine b nanodots could be easily monitored by photoluminescence as well as voltammetric methods. These unique features of proposed hybrid fluorescent nanodots makes it smart nanomaterial to enhance the performance of supercapacitors. This organicinorganic composite nanodots material based electrode shows a promising future for energy storage with high energy density, high power density and excellent cycle life.

Designing of Sensing Matrix for Compressive Sensing and Reconstruction 面向压缩感知与重构的感知矩阵设计

The compressive sampling technique is an emerging sampling technique that reconstructs a sparse signal at sub-Nyquist rate. One of the concerns in compression sensing is design of sensing matrix. While random sensing matrix are widely in use, they have many disadvantages. In this paper a novel Deterministic Random Sensing Matrix is designed and tested on image of size 256 × 256. The result shows 24% improvement in reconstruction time over Random Sensing Matrix. Since the matrix is deterministic the storage requirement is less than the Random Sensing Matrix.

Predicting the occurrence of essential hypertension using annual health records 利用年度健康记录预测原发性高血压的发生

Essential or primary hypertension is one of the major diseases affecting health in most societies. Hypertension can be controlled if its propensity can be forecasted for an individual, allowing necessary changes to be made in life-style. In this paper, we have used the data of subjects who had no prior history of hypertension for 2 or more consecutive years and applied various classifiers to predict occurrence of essential hypertension. For experimentation, we have used medical check-up data of Korean population between 2002-2013 and achieved 80% accuracy.

Detection of Malicious Circuit in Hardware using Compressive Sensing Algorithm 基于压缩感知算法的硬件恶意电路检测

It has been observed very critically in the hardware that robust Trojans are inserted in outsourced products resulting in security vulnerabilities. It is more important to note that some areas are in need to be more reliable and trust worthy with respect to security. A perpetrator in any possible location could alter the circuit behavior by including an unintended module in the circuit which can be very hard or impossible to detect until triggered. In this paper, a self-referencing approach is proposed that measures the leakage power of the circuit at different time windows. This approach can efficiently and reliably detect the leakage power that the Trojan creates and also avoids the requirement of golden chip by mapping a chip’s leakage power at different time window. The proposed method is also formulated using compressive sensing algorithm for selecting Trojan revealing test vectors and compresses the chip output. The proposed method is validated on ISCAS’85 benchmark circuits, in which 82% reduction in the output dimensions for the leakage power measurement is achieved for a compression ratio of 0.75.

Enhanced Framework for Sentiment Analysis in Text using Distance based Classification Scheme 基于距离分类方案的文本情感分析改进框架

Social media platform like blogs, social networks and content communities have become valuable resource for mining the sentiments. In fact information gained from the social platform like Facebook and twitter has been expressed to be more important to industries, market, news, public opinion organization and many more. Sentiment analysis in a text is a procedure in which the polarities like positive and negative of a specified text is determined. In this project we are using twitter comments as the text input. The proposed method consists of two phases called testing and training phase. For extracting the features we are using the sentiwordnet. The distance based classifier is used to classify the features. Finally analyses of the sentiments are done by polarities classified by the distance classifier.

Critical Review of Control Strategies for Switched Reluctance Motor Employed in Electric Vehicle 电动汽车用开关磁阻电机控制策略综述

This paper presents a critical review of control strategies for switched reluctance motor employed in electric vehicle. The survey is carried out on various control strategies namely average torque control, instantaneous torque, torque sharing and direct instantaneous torque control. The purpose of the survey is to identify the capability of control strategies in terms of speed and torque of SRM for electric vehicle application. The preliminary observation from the study is that, SRM have high torque ripples and it is severe during commutation between the adjacent phases. Further, it also leads to high acoustic noise, vibration and harshness of the electric vehicle system. In view of this, there is need to develop an appropriate control method to overcome the said problems of SRM drive employed in EVs.

Energy Efficient Dynamic Navigation System 节能动态导航系统

In the recent years there is considerable growth in the Vehicular system, driver safety and assistance system. In the current trend, Global positioning system (GPS) is one such system used for navigation assistance. Cell phone has become a part and parcel of many people in the world today. If both cell phone and GPS receiver are operational, it leads to increase in the cost and energy of navigation. The main objective of this work is to reduce the cost and minimize the amount of energy consumed in the navigation system. In this paper we propose, an energy efficient, high accuracy, low cost navigation system architecture for the dynamic navigation using the existing infrastructure. It has three techniques for accessing location maps for the navigation system namely; (1) uses reservoir as the source of location maps for cell phone (without Internet connection). Dual Material Gate-Gate Stack-Elliptical Gate All Around (DMG-GS-EG) MOSFET – A Novel Device Concept for Improved Performance 双材料栅极-栅极堆叠-椭圆栅极(DMG-GS-EG) MOSFET -一种改进性能的新器件概念

In this paper, an analytical model for Dual Material Gate-Gate Stack-Elliptical Gate All Around (DMG-GS-EG) MOSFET is presented and by solving Poisson’s equation in cylindrical coordinates and using equivalent radius (Reqv), the electrical properties of DMG-GS-EG are studied. A comparative analysis is also done with Single Material Gate-Elliptical Gate All Around (SMG-EG) MOSFET, Single Material Gate-Gate Stack-Elliptical Gate All Around (SMG-GS-EG) MOSFET and Dual Material Gate-Elliptical Gate All Around (DMG-EG) MOSFET to study the effectiveness of the proposed device in suppressing short-channel effects. A detailed analysis has been done over a wide range of parameters and bias conditions and it is shown that the proposed DMG-GS-EG device shows the most improved and reliable results.

Compact CPW Fed Dual Band Omni directional Antenna with Modified Signal Strip 改进信号带的紧凑型CPW馈频双频全向天线

A dual band planar monopole antenna energized using Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) is presented in this paper. The dual band characteristic is achieved by modifying the signal strip of CPW as two different monopoles. The newly developed antenna is resonating at two different frequencies, 2.4GHz and 5.2GHz, making it suitable for Wi-Fi applications. The properties of the antenna such as return loss, gain and radiation pattern are analyzed and optimized using ANSYS HFSS and validated by measurement. The simple structure is the attracting feature of the designed antenna.
