Normal Distribution on Energy Saving Problem for the Wireless Sensor Network Life on the Vacation Period 假期无线传感器网络寿命节能问题的正态分布

Based on math operations, we can do some analytic approaches for the energy saving for the WSN life. We will study the vacation period time using numerical methods for studding the energy saving mechanism in analytic models. Several research papers have reported that the normal distribution of a random variable has an enormous contribution in analyzing and comparing the data with each other, making the process easier according to methods used or observing the tendencies of numerous occurrences in life applications. This paper focuses on analyzing two problems: the first one is the normal distribution and its special cases by solving real problems of WSN node operations and the second one is the application of standard normal distribution relate to saving energy during vacation time in a certain time interval. The goal of our work is to obtain the appropriate algorithm to minimize the risk of data loss during the network vacation period, which is associated with the organization of network node structures after this period time, and to maximize the battery life of individual sensors. For that, we will use math methods and based on probability distribution theory, we derive some distributions of the processing period duration from an arbitrary fixed time up to a variable time t. The analytic approach based on the conception of Laplace transform and the Lagrange method performs better than the previous results. We continue by examining them through detailed calculations and graphs. We compare the predicted energy saving and the average real energy.

Tramvayın Güneş Enerjisi Destekli Bir Mikro Şebekeye Entegrasyonu

Raylı sistemlerde yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının kullanımı, özellikle de güneş enerjisinden faydalanma, son yıllarda üzerinde araştırma yapılan konulardan biridir. Bunun yanında mikro şebekeler, ileriki yıllarda çok daha fazla kullanılacak olan akıllı şebekelerde kendine uygulama alanı bulan yapılardır. Bu çalışmada da bu amaca hizmet etmesi için bir mikro şebeke planlanmıştır. Planlanan bu mikro şebeke -en ekonomik yolla- şehir içi bir tramvay hattını nasıl besleyeceği günün saatlerine, üç zamanlı elektrik tarifesine ve güneş enerjisinden faydalanma oranına göre geliştirilen bir akış şeması ile modellenmiştir. Bu akış şemasının bir noktasında karar verici olarak bir optimizasyon problem tanımlanarak Doğrusal Programlama ile çözülmüştür. Sonuç olarak da güneş panellerinin amortisman süreleri de dahil şu anki maliyetten daha karlı olacağı bulunmuştur.

Yüksekte Çalışmalarda Düşme Risklerine Karşı Korunma Tedbirlerinin Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemleri ile Belirlenmesi

Work at heights is common, especially in very dangerous sectors such as construction. The most fatal occupational accidents in the construction sector are seen as the work at height. There is a need for measures to be taken against the dangers and risks that may occur during work at height. In this way, fatal work accidents will be prevented. There are measures to be taken against these risks. However, in some cases there may be confusion about which measures are prioritized, more important and beneficial. Measures should be evaluated in terms of Occupational Health and Safety. To ensure a proactive approach, the measures need to be clear. In this study, the most appropriate measure was selected with multi-criteria decision making methods. Criteria and alternatives were determined and the most appropriate measure was chosen. SWARA method was integrated while evaluating the criteria and SAW method was integrated while evaluating the alternatives.

Enhancing Deaf and Dumb Collaboration by Video Annotations 通过视频注释增强聋哑人协作

Online annotations, which enable information to be added to existing data without altering it, have emerged as a crucial technique for engaging with web pages and user queries. Annotations become a tool for targeted collaboration between users (Annotators) with similar interests when the visibility of annotations is restricted to groups of users. Many strategies have been developed to improve online user conversations and collaboration. Websites are suitable media for that since they enable users to engage in online discussions by adding comments (also known as annotations) to page elements like texts, photos, and videos. There are numerous annotations, including written, spoken, visual, and graphic. Although textual annotations are well-known, users are increasingly adding their own video comments to the HTML web document components to have conversations and exchange ideas. This enables deaf and dumb people to have the chance to participate in online discussions. At the end of the work, we conducted a comprehensive experimental test in order to compute the collaboration percentages between users in which promising results were achieved.

Synthesis of Voltage PID Controller to Improve INC- MPPT Algorithm for Cascade Regulation of KC200GT Panel-Based Solar System 综合电压PID控制器改进KC200GT太阳能系统串级调节INC- MPPT算法

This paper proposes the Maximum Power Point Tracking MPPT method based on the Incremental Conductance INC algorithm. The primary goal is to prevent the ripple problem that is occurred in the output responses of the solar panel system. This last includes the KC200GT panel system, while using it to supply a resistive load throughout the DC-DC boost converter. This goal is reached through respecting the two following steps. First, the INC algorithm modified so that it produces an optimal reference voltage rather than a duty cycle control, which is often utilized in the standard INC-MPPT control strategy for controlling the switch button of the DC-DC boost converter. Second, the solar system behavior is modeled by the linear small-signal model for the design of the voltage PID controller. At each sample, a voltage discrepancy is generated as a result of comparing the previous reference voltage to the one delivered by the KC200GT panel where the introduction of the voltage PID controller becoming indispensable. These two steps create the development of a novel strategy that is afterwards known as improved INC-MPPT. The performance assessments of the proposed strategy are carried out by simulation using MATLAB®/SIMULINK software, and the obtained results reveal the crucial importance of including the voltage PID controller to overcome the ripple issue, occurred when applying the standard INC-MPPT control strategy.

Dijital tasarım alanında yaşanan gelişmelerin bir sonucu olarak ortaya çıkan yazılımlar ve teknolojik araçlar, tasarım alanında yeni yaklaşımların ortaya çıkmasına olanak sağlamış ve var olan yaklaşımlarında uygulanabilirliği, denetlenebilirliği ve kontrol edilebilirliğini arttırmıştır. Bu yaklaşımlardan olan parametrik tasarım yaklaşımı ve biomimikri tasarım yaklaşımı son yıllarda birçok tasarım alanında teknolojinin araçlar sayesinde karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada da son 10 yılda yapılan Serpentine pavilyonlarının bu iki yaklaşım üzerinden değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmada Serpentine pavilyonlarından bahsedilmiş olup, her bir pavilyon biomimikri ve parametrik tasarım yaklaşımları tarafından analiz edilmiştir. Serpentine Pavilyonlarında da bu iki yaklaşımın kullanıldığına dair bulgulara rastlandığı gözlemlenmiştir. Bu durum sonraki yıllarda tasarlanacak Serpentine pavilyonlarında da devam edeceğinin öngürülmesi ile beraber, küçük ölçekli yapılarda bu iki yaklaşımın daha kontrol edilebilir, uygulanabilir ve dentelenebilir olduğu sonucuna da varılmaktadır. Beyin Bilgisayarlı Tomografi Görüntülerinde Derin Öğrenme Tabanlı İskemik İnme Hastalığı Segmentasyonu

Stroke is brain cell death because of either lack of blood flow (ischemic) or bleeding (hemorrhagic) that prevents the brain from functioning properly in both conditions. Ischemic stroke is a common type of stroke caused by a blockage in the cerebrovascular system that prevents blood from flowing to brain regions and directly blocks blood vessels. Computed tomography (CT) scanning is frequently used in the evaluation of stroke, and rapid and accurate diagnosis of ischemic stroke with CT images is critical for determining the appropriate treatment. The manual diagnosis of ischemic stroke can be error-prone due to several factors, such as the busy schedules of specialists and the large number of patients admitted to healthcare facilities. Therefore, in this paper, a deep learning-based interface was developed to automatically diagnose the ischemic stroke through segmentation on CT images leading to a reduction on the diagnosis time and workload of specialists. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) allow automatic feature extraction in ischemic stroke segmentation, utilized to mark the disease regions from CT images. CNN-based architectures, such as U-Net, U-Net VGG16, U-Net VGG19, Attention U-Net, and ResU-Net, were used to benchmark the ischemic stroke disease segmentation. To further improve the segmentation performance, ResU-Net was modified, adding a dilation convolution layer after the last layer of the architecture. In addition, data augmentation was performed to increase the number of images in the dataset, including the ground truths for the ischemic stroke disease region. Based on the experimental results, our modified ResU-Net with a dilation convolution provides the highest performance for ischemic stroke segmentation in dice similarity coefficient (DSC) and intersection over union (IoU) with 98.45 % and 96.95 %, respectively. The experimental results show that our modified ResU-Net outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches for ischemic stroke disease segmentation. Moreover, the modified architecture has been deployed into a new desktop application called BrainSeg, which can support specialists during the diagnosis of the disease by segmenting ischemic stroke.

In recent years, with the increase in population and the development of technology in the world, the need for energy has been increasing day by day. With the rapid depletion of fossil fuel reserves such as oil, coal and natural gas and the increase in the population, renewable energy sources are gaining importance. Geothermal energy, one of the renewable energy sources, is currently used in various processes such as electricity generation, heating and drying. Geothermal Energy is a clean, cheap and environmentally friendly domestic underground renewable energy source. For this reason, the issue of assessing the situation of direct and indirect production and use of geothermal energy in the world, Turkey and Djibouti has gained importance.

Behaviour-based Manufacturing Control with Soft Computing Techniques 基于行为的制造控制与软计算技术

Soft Computing methods have been widely used in recent years to address the challenges posed by disturbances handling and uncertainty management in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The focus of this research paper is on the application of Soft Computing methods for classification problems in Behaviour Based Control. The paper proposes the use of classification techniques to determine the behavior of a production system. This is an important task as it enables the detection of anomalous behavior and allows for the implementation of appropriate corrective measures. The proposed classification method is based on the use of Neural Networks and Fuzzy logic. Neural Networks are a powerful tool for classification tasks due to their ability to learn from data and make predictions based on patterns. The proposed method uses a feedforward neural network with a single hidden layer to classify the behavior of the production system. The inputs to the network are features extracted from the production system, while the output is the classification result. Fuzzy logic is also used in the proposed classification method to handle uncertainty in the input data. In conclusion, this research paper presents a novel approach to classification problems in Behaviour Based Control using Soft Computing methods. The proposed method shows promising results in handling disturbances and uncertainty in manufacturing systems. Further research in this area could lead to the development of more advanced Soft Computing methods for manufacturing systems, enabling more efficient and effective control and management of production processes.
