China provides an excellent empirical case study on the information transmitting efficiency in the capital market. Our paper extend the existing investigation based on much more new data and test the efficiency of information transmitting with Individual, Sub-sampling and Wild bootstrap Variance Ratio method. The empirical results show that gold prices reflect all the past information efficiently and no one can get abnormal return continuously. The China gold spot price followed Random Walk and the gold spot market is a weak-form efficiency market.

Collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm is a personalized recommendation algorithm that is used widely in e-commerce recommendation system. In this paper, a collaborative filtering recomendation algorithm based on cloud model clustering of multi-indicators item evaluation is proposed. In the algorithm, the item evaluation is the object, time weighted function is introduced to item evaluation, soft culsters item based on cloud model and gets the recommended items. The algorithm solves problems of data updating and history validity of evaluation in the collaborative filtering algorithm. Soft cluster item based on cloud model is achieved to avoid the defects bringed by hard division.

A new approach, XenPR, was designed to protect and recover processes in a kernel crash. XenPR exploits the isolation feature in Xen to maintain a minor kernel image outside of the main OS kernel. When a crash happened to main kernel, the minor kernel will take over the business from it, save the process context and reboot the operating system. Then the applications can continue the execution seamlessly or only with moderate interruption. Our evaluation shows XenPR reduces the computing loss in system failure and improves the reliability and availability of programs.

This paper examined cost of capital reactions to management's evaluations of internal control and audit opinions on reports of internal control which based on samples of 2008 Chinese Shanghai Stock market, the results have shown that, those companies who disclosed positive internal control or clean audit opinions on reports of internal control will bear lower cost of capital, compared with the companies those who have shown negative actions on internal control disclosing or negative audit opinions on internal control reports after controlling for other independent variables. Overall, the result of our cross-sectional test is consistent with good internal control will be valued by capital market.

It is difficult to design mathematic models for the problems of assembly line queuing in the workshop, and simulation is usually made in the computer. But it requires that the researchers have high level of computer proficiency to build up a simulation model with a computer language. Taking Excel as a tool, we have established a simulation model for the problems of two-stage assembly line queuing. With this model, we can not only easily examine the production efficiency of this assembly line, but also examine whether enlarging the space between the two workstations could impose some influences upon the productivity of assembly lines and the waiting time.
