The demand for Wireless technologies has been increasing in recent years which enabled research on antenna design. Microstrip patch antennas were preferred in modern wireless devices because of its low profile design with compact size. The major limitation of the patch antenna is its low bandwidth. The parameters of the antenna can be altered to a larger extent by adding Meta material to the substrate. This paper presents the design of rectangular-shaped Meta material antenna using Computer Simulation Technology (CST) studio suite. This paper compares the design of the antenna with and without Meta material in the substrate. At first, various designs of antennas were simulated without adding Meta material in the substrate by optimizing the shapes and the parameters such as return loss, gain, directivity etc were noted. The spanner and rectangular shaped antenna were selected based on the simulation and Meta material was added to the substrate. The rectangular-shaped patch antenna shows enhanced results than the spanner shaped antenna after adding the Meta material to the substrate. The return loss of rectangular patch antenna with Meta material was observed as -27.38 using the simulation. This range of return loss is best suited for RF energy harvesting and bio-medical applications in the C band.

Aim of this study is to improve the thermal comfort of residential buildings located in rural area of Rajasthan by using solar chimney technique. Investigations were focused on development of new kind of improved solar chimney. Three designs of absorber plates used for natural ventilation improvement are following: simple plate, vertical plate combinations and honeycomb structure. Year round results were gained by using CFD commercial software ANSYS FLUENT 14.5. Experimental validation is also carried out by using prototype modeling technique for proposed designs. Comparison of solar chimney with honeycomb and without honeycomb is also studied in present study to find relation with thermal performance of chimney. The performance of the system is highly influenced by solar intensity. Improvement of room temperature in the building for May month is also studied using solar chimney. With the change of chimney design (honeycomb and without honeycomb), the change in velocity distribution and the air flow inside the chimney was observed.

3D food printing is gaining significance as a novel processing technique in the field of food technology. Rice flour, jaggery and water are combined in 20 different proportions (R1 to R20) and the printability of the combination is studied in 1D, 2D and 3D using an extrusion-based 3D food printer. The dimensional accuracy was determined by comparing the length, width and height of the printed sample with target geometry. The sample having better dimensional accuracy in 1D and 2D printing did not retain shape in 3D structure. The sample R5 performed well in 3D printing in terms of height achieved while printing a 3D structure. The composition of the constituents for best 3D printability are rice flour 85.95 g, jaggery 33.04 g and water 114.93 g.

Soft robots have become more popular in the robotic field. They can perform unique actions such as grasping delicate objects, robotic surgeries, etc. They are made up of soft materials, hence they are adaptable according to their working environment, but the problem is their modeling. There are different methods are available like Beam theory, Cosserat theory, Finite element method, and so on. Even though it is not possible to find out a perfect model for the soft robotic system. The most commonly used method is the Finite element method. Among soft robots, soft grippers are very important. Hence in this paper design of a soft pneumatic gripper has been done by using the Finite element method. A soft pneumatic (gripper) or actuator is the one that will work with applied pressure. Our system modeling has been done by using Ansys software and simulated for different materials as well as different shapes.

In present scenario features like low-cost, power-efficientand easy-to-implement Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN’s) has become one of growing prospects.though, its security issues have become a popular topic of research nowadays. Specific attacks often experience the security issues as they easily combined with other attacks to destroy the network. In this paper, we discuss about detecting the particular attacks like Sybil, Black-holeand Denial of Service (DoS) attacks on WSNs. These networks are more vulnerable to them. We attempt to investigate the security measures and the applicability of the AODV protocol to detect and manage specific types of network attacks in VANET.The RSA algorithm is proposed here, as it is capable of detecting sensor nodes ormessages transmitted from sensor nodes to the base station and prevents network from being attacked by the source node. It also improves the security mechanism of the AODV protocol. This simulation set up is performed using MATLAB simulation tool

In modern process control industries, the feedback or closed control system plays a vital role. In this research work has been proposed the nonlinear conical tank system, among the different linear and nonlinear tanks are used in process industries. In the conical tank water level control is a very tricky task, due to its nonlinearity and variations present in their cross sectional area, when changing the water level at the desired set point. Hence, an optimal controller design is essential to sustain the water level in nonlinear conical tank. The controller tuning is very much essential for satisfactory closed loop performance of the particular process in terms of stability, to reducing the setting time, steady state error and minimal performance indices. The real time analysis of PI controller tuning parameters by Ziegler –Nichols Tuning (ZNT) and Root Locus Technique (RLT) are compared with the help of servo responses. The performance of PI controller is validated in terms of time domain specifications, IAE and ISE.

The Hadoop framework is most popular among data analytics applications. The file system of the Hadoop (HDFS) provides the layered storage facility for the frequent and infrequent data. In HDFS data can be archived using the HAR (Hadoop Archive) technique, but HAR archive are immutable means once the archive created it cannot be modified. One has to rewrite the whole archive if want to append the some new file to the existing archive. This paper introduces extended Hadoop archive (EHAR) that will resolve the scalability issue of the HDFS and also provide the mechanism to append the new files to the existing Hadoop archive. The experimental result shows that the execution time of the proposed approach is 53% to 39% lesser than the native HAR for the different fixed size files and 52% to 38% lesser than the native HAR for the different variable size files.

Myeloma is a type of blood cancer that affects the plasma cells in the bone marrow, which produces antibodies that help the immune system to fight against outside aggression. Myeloma results in production of abnormal antibodies thereby weaking the function of the immune system. Out of the different types of blood cancers, the proposed research provides a robust mechanism for Multiple Myeloma (MM) prediction using 85 Microscopic blood images that were captured from bone marrow aspiration of patients suffering from the disease. The proposed work eradicates the probability of errors in the manual process of feature extraction by employing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for it and this is followed by training the model with Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest algorithms for classification. Along with SVM and Random Forest we used Random Search Optimizer for finding the suitable set of hyper parameters for better results. The overall accuracy was recorded to be 100%, for CNN-ANN model. Thus, the model can be used effectively for determining the Multiple Myeloma from the cell images.
