cloud computing provides an open architecture and resource sharing computing platform with pay-per-use model. It is now a popular computing platform and most of the new internet based computing services are on this innovation supported environment. We consider it as innovation supported because developers are more focused here on the service design, rather on arranging the infrastructure, network, management of the resources, etc. These all things are available in cloud computing on hired basis. Now, a big question arises here is the security of data or privacy of data because the service provider is already using the infrastructure, network, storage, processors, and other more resources from the third party. So, the security or privacy of the portable user's data is the main motivation for writing this research paper. In this paper, we are proposing an innovative perturbation algorithm MAP() to secure the portable user's data on the cloud server.

An organ that is imperative and must be preserved as impeccable is the human eye. The thin membrane of the eye permits the infiltration of luminosity, and aids in gaining access to the view that one is able to see. With the neoteric times evincing a virtual boom, digital modes of operation are sky-scraping. An umpteen variety of applications have made way into the quotidian tasks that one performs with much facileness. There are many constraints involved that can potentially result in the numerous concomitant detriments of the most vital organ that accords sight for an individual. Retinal detachment is one of the serious perils that an individual may face when the retinal cells from the blood channel that carry oxygen with the adequate nutriments get dissociated. The ensuing precariousness lies with the individual taking measures to treat it at an earlier stage of development. As the risks pertaining to the untreated detachment can lead to purblind vision and subsequently to complete blindness. Automated fundoscopy and eye testing mechanisms are some of the most conventional methods for the recognition of Retinal Detachment (RD). However, these strategies are the traditional procedures which have become atypical when observed with certain case studies. Ophthalmologists to a great extent utilize visual ultrasound to upgrade their clinical crispness to agnize and preclude RD. The previous indagation focused on identifying the detached area in the retina using various algorithms. However, this paper, pivots on ensuring that the Region of Interest (ROI) is extracted with higher precision from the fundus image as compared to the other methods used for unsheathing the detached area. The ROI is then masked in order to distinguish it from the other pixels of the image. The simulations of this study are implemented with MATLAB, and the results are procured successfully.

Diabetes is a matter of concern for the health of the entire world, its diagnosis and cure are among the prime challenge for the medical fraternity, because it can be controlled but can't be cured, sooner the diagnosis the better it will be for the patient. Thus, use of machine learning for timely classification, of diabetes plays a vital role to protect patient from the life threatening complications in future. Various classification techniques are available in Machine Learning (ML) viz. Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest, Naïve Bayes Classifier, Linear Regression (LR), K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) algorithm, etc. etc. But the question is which of the classification techniques, timely and accurately identifies this sensitive disorder. While predicting Diabetes using any machine learning algorithm, the accuracy, specificity and sensitivity, are some of the important parameters. The strengthening of these parameters requires the understanding of dataset under consideration, i.e. whether the data set is having some missing values or outliers, if missing values exists then to strengthen the prediction accuracy; one has to apply the data imputation techniques on the dataset. In the performed work the well-known dataset (Pima Indian) from UCI repository, was subject to data imputation techniques to handle the missing values present in it(tabulated in Table-1). Thereafter the said Machine Learning techniques were applied, and compared on the basis of various parameters viz. Accuracy, Sensitivity, and Specificity etc., to choose the best among algorithm one has to compare the multiple criteria's altogether, which is quite challenging. Thus, in the performed work the Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) is applied, it is a technique of Multi-Criteria-Decision-Making (MCDM). By applying EDAS over the performance evaluation statistics (speed, accuracy, specificity and sensitivity) of various classification algorithms viz. Naïve Bayes (NB) Classifier, Support Vector Machines (SVM),K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), Random Forest(RF), Linear Regression (LR); it is found that the Naïve Bayes (NB) is Ranked as the best Classifier and Random Forest (RF) was the second best ranked alternative for analyzing the PIMA INDIAN DATASET, to predict the diabetes.

Every authentication process initially requires the acceptance of the secure system that is easy, flexible and adaptable. One of the authentication methods which take the base of remembrance of secure passwords is the graphical knowledge based authentication. Among its two types i.e. recognition based and recall based, the dimension of this study revolves around the recall type authentication system. For this the research study aim to analyze the usability aspect in the existing recall knowledge based authentication systems. Based on the facts and findings of the existing system, the objective is to design the phases of proposed authentication process. In accordance to the proposed authentication process, next step is to identify the usability evaluation parameters. The details of the existing and proposed specification of each usability evaluation parameter are discussed using the flowcharts.

We propose a new multi-patch antenna for radio frequency energy harvesting. The designed antenna can scavenge more power from ambient with improved gain and directivity. The proposed antenna uses FR4 substrate of 1.6mm thickness. This design efficaciously radiates at 900 MHz frequency with the high return loss of −64dB. The new design is showing a peak gain of 36dB with considerable VSWR(<2). This antenna shows a capability of harvesting energy from GSM band and covering the wide range frequency of 2.9-4 GHz including Wi-MAX. Experiments are conducted to obtain the return loss and radiation pattern. Also, measurements conducted show an radio frequency to DC conversion voltage of 100mV. Experimental results obtained are in compared with the simulated results and are closely matching.

In most of the inventory like food, fashion, electric materials, building materials, a retailer needs to maintain varieties of different inventory items. On the other hand, racks overflowing with a large number of quantities in an inventory attracts the attention of more customers. Besides, the selling price is a crucial factor in demand based on marketing and economic theory. Assimilating all these variates, the present paper advocates a multi-item single-period inventory model that generalizes the pricing and inventory policy for instantaneous deteriorating items. A time-varying, price-sensitive, and stock dependent demand function has been formulated. Shortages are allowed and partially backlogged. The model is developed under a known initial inventory. An iterative algorithm has been incorporated to find the optimal procedure. The prime objective of this model is to determine the selling price, time length up to zero inventory, optimal lot size so that the profit of the retailer will be maximized. On the other hand, racks overflowing with a large number of quantities in an inventory attracts the attention of more customers. Besides, the selling price is a crucial factor in demand based on marketing and economic theory. Assimilating all these variates, the present paper advocates a multi-item single-period inventory model that generalizes the pricing and inventory policy for instantaneous deteriorating items. A time-varying, price-sensitive, and stock dependent demand function has been formulated. Shortages are allowed and partially backlogged. The model is developed under a known initial inventory. An iterative algorithm has been incorporated to find the optimal procedure. The prime objective of this model is to determine the selling price, time length up to zero inventory, optimal lot size so that the profit of the retailer will be maximized. The model is demonstrated with a numerical example which is followed by a sensitivity analysis.","PeriodicalId":129946,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference System Modeling and Advancement in Research Trends (SMART)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128529929","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
