Aspects to Foster Competences for Engineering Graduates: Education 4.0 Paradigm 培养工程毕业生能力的几个方面:教育4.0范式

With the amalgamation of information technology capabilities, the fourth industrial revolution transforms the industrial processes to become more connected and predictable. The response to the changing requirements of the fourth industrial revolution (IR4.0) is Education 4.0, which will enable to harness the potential of these digital technologies. In order to strengthen the student centric learning process in Engineering Education 4.0, it is imperative to provide abundant skill development opportunities and avenues. This paper presents the relevance of professional skill development activities. It highlights the competencies developed through the proposed framework.

Features Exposing Responses of Hungarian Students for the Real-Time 特征暴露匈牙利学生的实时反应

Exploring the behavior of students towards technology is a promising job. Considering the problem, we used Correspondence Analysis on real data samples gathered from a Hungarian public university. We have identified student's likeness and dislikes with the four technology parameters: attitude, growth, use, and benefits. Being a powerful feature selection approach, it recommended many useful features to identify students' behavior about technology. We found a qualified bonding among technology use, growth, attitude, and benefit with the student's response. Moreover, we suggested to practically deploy this behavior approach identification model for our “E-lection,” a real-time student response system. The online behavioral association model might help management get aware of the student's behavior towards campus technology.

Smart Cities: A New Age of Digital Insecurity 智慧城市:数字不安全的新时代

The Information Technology world is witnessing a new era which is encompassed with Internet-of-Things (IoT), smart home, smart devices and smart cities which will play a significant role to recognize the “smart” vision. This paper proposes an unambiguous solution as a cobit cube based on ICT infrastructure that caters security issues pertaining to the “gigantic challenges” and flawlessly integrates IoT and smart city structure into one comprehensible unit. This paper also highlights network flaws of smart city and proposes Smart mitigation techniques, hardening of authentication, access point security and effective data encryption methods to secure key exchange. We also present a multi layered an Onion model representing the interactions between smart citizens, servers, smart and secure application, smart societies, smart authorities and smart mobility which are main elements of smart city and their interfaces are what we require to defend.

A Nature Inspired Strategy for Demand Side Management in Residential Sector with Smart Grid Environment 智能电网环境下住宅用电需求侧管理的自然启发策略

A major portion of global electricity consumption is done by residential sector. The nature of load variation is highly uncertain and has become a challenge to control thereby contributes a lot in peak load burden on utility. However, the concept of demand side management (DSM) enables the utility to manage the residential sector load in smart grid environment. The concept of DSM in the smart grid enables the ability to facilitate the flow of information between customers and utility that helps to rebuild the curve. In this paper, human behavior-based algorithm is developed to alter the load curve by managing residential sector load. The proposed algorithm is tested with Python coding and offers satisfactory results. The considerable reduction in peak load with increased utility earning is noticed with critical peak pricing scheme (CPP).

Small Signal Modelling, Evaluation & Application of Synchronous Generator-SVC System in Single Machine Environment for Three Different Model of Synchronous Generator 三种不同型号同步发电机单机环境下同步发电机- svc系统的小信号建模、评价及应用

In this paper the Small Signal Stability (SSS) of Synchronous Generator (SG) - SVC system is investigated in Single Machine-Infinite Bus environment. The SVC has very important role to compensate reactive power fast and also for damping out power system oscillations and It has damping control loop as well as standard voltage control loop. In this paper there are three Models of Synchronous Generator (SG) has been studied which are SG-1 which has damper winding in both d-axis & q-axis, SG-2 which has damper winding in q-axis only and SG-3 which has no damper winding. These three SG models with SVC system are examined and obtained suitable SG model based on high degree of reliability and minimum computational time requirement by using comprehensive transfer-function (TF) block-diagram model (BDM) of a synchronous generator-SVC system. This transfer function is analyzed by Bode Plot for different variables. The validation of proposed method is done by MATLAB-Simulink Software.

Ant Colony Optimization based Routing for Underwater Sensor Network 基于蚁群优化的水下传感器网络路由

Apparently, two-thirds of our planet is covered by water bodies, of which oceanic coverage deeply impacts the terrestrial life. Oceans form majestic resource of most of the amazing marine creatures and natural resources, especially mineral oil. This makes underwater monitoring one of the most demanding areas to explore. For monitoring the oceanic layer, a specialized form of sensor network is employed, known as Underwater Acoustic Sensor Network. Underwater research draws eminence from a wide variety of application-based research, including collaborative undersea exploration, naval surveillance and other oceanographic mining and engineering tasks. Our research is focused on presenting survey of architecture and applications of acoustic sensor networks abided by significant characteristics and challenges. Further, we have proposed Ant-Colony Optimization for intelligent acoustic routing and model its performance in terms of delay incurred.

Proposing Innovative Intruder Detection System for Host Machines in Cloud Computing 基于云计算的主机入侵检测系统研究

There is very significant role of Virtualization in cloud computing. The physical hardware in the cloud computing reside with the host machine and the virtualization software runs on it. The virtualization allows virtual machines to exist. The host machine shares its physical components such as memory, storage, and processor ultimately to handle the needs of the virtual machines. If an attacker effectively compromises one VM, it could outbreak others on the same host on the network over long periods of time. This is an gradually more popular method for cross-virtual-machine attacks, since traffic between VMs cannot be examined by standard IDS/IPS software programs. As we know that the cloud environment is distributed in nature and hence more susceptible to various types of intrusion attacks which include installing malicious software and generating backdoors. In a cloud environment, where organizations have hosted important and critical data, the security of underlying technologies becomes critical. To alleviate the hazard to cloud environments, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are a cover of defense. In this paper, we are proposing an innovative model for Intrusion Detection System for securing Host machines in cloud infrastructure. This proposed IDS has two important features: (1) signature based and (2) prompt alert system.

Generalizing Spectral Difference Method for Multispectral Image Demosaicking and Analyzing the Role of MSFA Patterns 多光谱图像去马赛克的广义谱差法及MSFA图的作用分析

Multispectral images contain more content and details in comparison to color images and are observed to be beneficial for several applications. However, large size and cost restricts the wider usage and adoption of the multi-sensors multispectral imaging systems. Multispectral image demosaicking methods can help develop single-sensor equivalent systems at low cost. In this work, we present an efficient generic method for multispectral image demosaicking by extending the spectral difference method and we also present the analysis of multispectral filter array (MSFA) patterns on the performance, evaluated using two different metrics and by considering two different benchmark multispectral images datasets. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method, except in cases when non compact MSFA patterns are used.

Fusion Approach for Document Classification using Random Forest and SVM 基于随机森林和支持向量机的文档分类融合方法

Document classification is an important task due to its many potential applications. With the ever-increasing number of digital documents, it has become imperative to design efficient and accurate methods for document classification. When the categories of documents are already known, the problem can be solved using supervised learning approach. System can learn the traits of a document category from the labeled data and later on can be used as a predictor for the unseen data. Here, we discuss a fusion supervised learning approach for document classification. The power of Random forests and Support Vector Machine is harnessed for making a hybrid approach for the task of document categorization. The proposed approach categories documents into their respective categories and it works well various benchmarked datasets such as 20 Newsgroups, CMU and Classic Data Sets.

Techno-Economic Feasibility Analysis of Off-Grid Electrification for Remote Areas: A Review 偏远地区离网电气化技术经济可行性分析综述

Day by day Off-grid generation system has become a more trustworthy source of energy. It matches the demand for electricity in rural areas. It can be made the more reliable source of energy by using a hybrid renewable energy system as a combination of PV, wind and biomass depending upon the accessibility of sources. This paper presented the feasibility of renewable energy sources in a remote location and also discussed the recent technologies available for designing the hybrid system. It also includes the economics of the designed system in terms of net present cost and cost of energy.
