Problems as perceived by membes and non-members of dairy co-operative societies in Gadchiroli district of Vidarbha region Vidarbha地区Gadchiroli地区乳制品合作社成员和非成员所认为的问题

Studies on problem / constraints faced by dairy farmers revealed that the major problems faced by majority of dairy farmers were related to health, followed by monitory and lastly related to facilities. Problem of high incidence of repeated breeding was mentioned by 76 % and 90.7% of beneficiary and non-beneficiary farmers followed by high incidence of prolapsed of uterus 70% and 84.7% of beneficiary and non-beneficiary farmers. High cost of concentrates and high cost of dairy animal was expressed by 69.3% and 53.3% of beneficiary and 69.13% and 78% of non-beneficiary farmers. Irregularity in payments was mentioned by maximum non-beneficiary farmer (86.7%), whereas only 7.3% of beneficiary farmer mentioned irregularity in payments as constraints for them. The problem related to health and money are major in both beneficiary and non-beneficiary farmers where as untimely payments of bills is major problems for non-beneficiary and it is negligible problem for beneficiary farmer as co-operatives pay them regularly.

Agriculture mechanization, farm machinery accidents and safety 农业机械化、农机安全事故

In this article an effort has been made to review the approaches made onconserving the moisture through in-situ conservation techniques and mechanical measures employed to conserve soil and water with different conservational practices such as basin listing, compartmental bunding, tie ridging, ridge formation, check basin formation etc. has analyzed and the effect of these conservational practices on yield of crop, effect of mechanical machine parameters on basin dimensions and its performance and finally, advantage of these conservational practices in terms of net returns to farmers has been highlighted.

Impact of soil test recommendations in orange cultivation 土壤试验建议对柑桔栽培的影响

The present investigation was conducted in Morshi taluka of Amravati district (Vidarbha region) of Maharashtra state. The main objective of the study was to assess the relationship between the profile of the orange cultivators with their impact on soil test recommendations.A pre – structured interview schedule was used to collect data from 80 orange cultivaors from 8 villages which were selected by using exploratory design of the social research during 2021-2022. The statistical methods such as frequencies, percentage, mean, standard deviation and correlation were used. The data of research study show that age and method of irrigation was negatively correlated and education,age of orchard,area under orchard, extension contact, risk preference were found to be positively and non significantly related and annual income was found to be positively and significantly related with impact of soil test recommendations in orange cultivation.

Determination of physico-chemical characteristics of waste coconut water 废椰子汁理化特性的测定

The study was conducted to analyze the Physico-chemical characteristics of Waste Coconut Water for Anaerobic digestion. Experiments were conducted at soil testing laboratory of Regional Agriculture Research Station, Pattambi. Standard procedures of American Public Health Association were followed to determine the total solids (TS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) and pH of waste coconut water.The waste coconut water samples were analyzed for different physico-chemical characteristics and the results were found to be a medium strength waste water with TS, BOD and pH values in the ranges of 34729-44399 mg·L- 1, 28725-29230 mg·L-1 and 3.24-4.77, respectively.

Controllability analysis of renewable embedded AC microgrid with multi-band stabilizers 带多波段稳定器的可再生嵌入式交流微电网可控性分析

The depletion of conventional energy sources and the increasing demand for electricity due to industrialization and rising global living standards has led to the need for a transformation of the traditional power grid. The microgrid concept has emerged as a solution that integrates renewable energy sources into the main grid. This paper examines an AC microgrid consisting of solar, wind, hydro, and diesel power stations, and investigates the effect of various power system stabilisers (PSSs) on the silent-pole synchronous generator of the diesel and hydro power plant. The effectiveness of different PSSs, including - PSS, ΔPa-PSS, and Multi-band PSS, is compared using a grid-connected AC microgrid. The simulation results show that Multiband PSS performs better than conventional PSSs in eliminating electromechanical oscillation, even in the presence of Gaussian and colored noise. PSSs are useful in managing the power flow of various DERs and improving power system stability. The simulation is conducted using the MATLAB/SIMULINK software.

Impact assessment of heavy metals spiked wastewater irrigation on soil health in marigold (Tagetes patula L.) 重金属加标废水灌溉对万寿菊土壤健康的影响评价

A pot experiment was conducted to find out the impact assessment of heavymetals spiked wastewater irrigation on soil healthin marigold (Tagetes patula L., cv. Pusa Arpita) under irrigation with metals spiked wastewater at Water Technology Centre of ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi during Rabi season of 2020-21. Sevan treatments were takenas T-1: Sole Groundwater Irrigation without spiking of heavy metal, T-2: Sole Wastewater Irrigation without spiking of heavy metal, T-3: Wastewater Irrigation spiked with Cd (0.005ppm), Cr (0.05ppm), Ni (0.1ppm) and Pb (2.5ppm), T-4:Wastewater Irrigation spiked with Cd (0.01ppm), Cr (0.1ppm), Ni (0.2ppm) and Pb (5.0ppm), T-5: Wastewater Irrigation spiked with Cd (0.1ppm), Cr (0.1ppm), Ni (2ppm) and Pb (10ppm) , T-6: Wastewater Irrigation spiked with Cd (0.25ppm), Cr (2.5ppm),Ni (5ppm) and Pb (30ppm), T-7: Wastewater Irrigation spiked with Cd (0.5ppm), Cr (5.0ppm), Ni (10ppm) and Pb (50ppm). Results indicated that soil health in-terms of pH, organic carbon, phosphorous, potassium and micronutrients (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) was significantly not changed where as significantly higher salinity (EC: 0.45 dS/m), nitrogen content (164.17 kg/ha) aswell as significantly higher concentration of Ni (0.76 mg/kg), Cr (1.66 mg/kg), Cd (0.18 mg/kg) and Pb (2.78 mg/kg) in irrigated soils were observed in the treatment T-7 where higher concentration of metals were spiked in wastewater. The present study may be concluded as the application of metals spiked wastewater irrigation may deteoriate the soil health by build-up of heavy metals under cultivation of marigold.

Modification in existing groundnut digger shaker for invert windrowing 对现有花生挖掘机振动筛进行反开窗改造

The agricultural mechanization has gained importance for increasing agricultural production, productivity and profitability. Aflatoxin contamination results in downgrading of grains and oilseeds and depletion of their nutritional value. Prolonged consumption of aflatoxins has been reported to cause impaired immune function, malnutrition and stunted growth in children, disabilities and death. The main components of the developed machine were supporting frame, inversion discs, inversion rods, bottom support, side covers, etc. For the performance evaluation of the plant inversion attachment to the existing groundnut digger shaker in terms of total percentage of groundnut pod loss, digging efficiency and field efficiency, three levels of forward speeds i.e. 2.0 - 2.5 km/h (S1), 2.5 - 3.0 km/h (S2) and 3.0 - 3.5 km/h (S3) were used. The digging efficiency was measured as 90.94 %, 88.14 % and 84.11 % at forward speeds of S1, S2 and S3, respectively. Similarly, field efficiency was found 83.63 %, 80.10 % and 77.21 % at forward speeds of S1, S2 and S3, respectively. The depth of cut was measured as 130 mm and width of cut was 1016 mm at the moisture content of 18.08 % (d.b.). The draft was measured as 452 kg and power requirement was 18 hp with fuel consumption of 3.93 l/h. The average theoretical field capacity, effective field capacity and field efficiency was calculated as 0.330 ha/h, 0.264 ha/h and 80 %, respectively. The wheel slip was found 7.73 % while inversion index was 72 %.

The present study “Attitude of farmers towards PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi” was conducted in the year 2021-2022 in Amravati and Bhatkuli tehsil of Amravati district. The study was planned to investigate attitude of farmers towards PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi.The exploratory design of social research was used for the present investigation. The data was collected by personally interviewing the respondents with help of presented structured schedule, 120 respondents constituted 12 respondents from each village consisting of 10 villages was the sample for this study. The statistical methods such as mean, frequency, standard deviation and correlation were used. The findings of correlation analysis revealed that characteristics such as land holding, extension contact and social participation were found positive and highly significant with attitude at 0.01 per cent level of probability, whereas education and socio-economic status had positively significant with attitude at 0.05 per cent level of probability. The variables age, farming experience, annual income were found no relationship with attitude so these were non significant.

Strategies and research issues for soil and water conservation in India: A comprehensive review 印度水土保持战略与研究问题综述

Despite years of study and substantial investment in remediation and prevention, soil erosion continues to be a major environmental problem with regard to land use in India and elsewhere around the world. Furthermore, changing climate and/or weather patterns are exacerbating the problem. Our objective was to review past and current soil conservation programmes in India to better understand how production-, environmental-, social-, economic- and policy-related issues have affected soil and water conservation and the incentives needed to address the most critical problems. We found that to achieve success in soil and water conservation policies, institutions and operations must be co-ordinated using a holistic approach. Watershed programmes have been shown to be one of the most effective strategies for bringing socio-economic change to different parts of India. Within both dryland and rainfed areas, watershed management has quietly revolutionized agriculture by aligning various sectors through technological soil and water conservation interventions and land-use diversification. Significant results associated with various watershed-scale soil and water conservation programmes and interventions that were effective for reducing land degradation and improving productivity in different parts of the country are discussed. It has been demonstrated that one of the best methods for bringing socio-economic change to various regions of India is through watershed programming. By bringing together multiple sectors through technological soil and water conservation treatments and land-use diversification in both dryland and rainfed areas, watershed management has subtly revolutionised agriculture. Significant outcomes related to numerous watershed-scale soil and water conservation interventions and programmes that were successful in decreasing land degradation and boosting productivity in various regions of the nation are discussed.

The analysis of drainage basins or watersheds based on morphometric parameters is highly significant for effective watershed planning. It provides valuable insights into the relationships between different characteristics within a given area. Although numerous technical papers have explored this field of study, there is currently no standardized classification system and clear interpretation for each parameter. Consequently, evaluating the significance of individual morphometric parameters can be confusing. This paper aims to address this issue by offering a comprehensive understanding of the meaning behind the values of various morphometric parameters, along with relevant contextual information. A critical review is provided for each classification, including the range of values and their implications. Emphasizing the importance of data quality, covering aspects such as data preparation, scale, and level of mapping detail is also done. This review paper is intended to provide a comprehensive explanation that will assist future researchers in their morphometric analysis studies.
