ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a theory of determining the quality of financial statement reports that can increase investor confidence in financial information presented by management. This research would like to find the role of good corporate governance in improving the quality of financial statements as measured by accounting conservatism and earnings management, then it will be seen how the quality ability of financial statement can influence investor confidence level. The result of the research did not find the influence of corporate governance mechanism on the quality of financial statements. However, the simultaneous test results found that corporate governance mechanisms and the quality of financial statements affect the level of investor confidence. Profit management as an indicator of the quality of financial statements negatively affects the level of investor confidence. But accounting conservatism declared no effect on the level of investor confidence. The results of the test with path analysis found that the variables that have a direct influence of the mechanism of good corporate governance is the ownership of the institution, while other variables have no influence either directly or indirectly.

Endo-perio lesions are common but difficult to diagnose problems. Although most cases resolve following endodontic management, extensive tissue loss calls for the surgical intervention. Currently more and more research is focused on regeneration of dental tissues. Recent advances in regenerative procedures like platelet rich fibrin have made the results of the procedure more predictable. In our case, a 45 year old male patient with endo-perio lesion in right maxillary first molar was treated with platelet rich fibrin and demineralized freeze dried bone graft after conventional endodontic therapy. At the end of 6 months, there was significant radiographic and clinical healing. The novel technique described in the case report will help the clinicians in managing an endo-perio case through regenerative procedures in an efficient way.

Introduction: Removal of infected pulp tissue from the coronal portion leads to preservation of a remaining vital and functioning pulp. Preservation of pulp vitality by pulpotomy is one of the universally accepted treatment procedure with the aid of latest bioactive materials leading to a more conservative approach in the management of teeth involving the pulp based on clinical conditions. Aim: To comparatively evaluate the clinical and radiological outcome of single visit pulpotomy procedure using Biodentine and the combination of Plasma Rich Fibrin (PRF) and Biodentine Materials and Methods: Twenty permanent molars were selected and randomly assigned to two groups that included pulpotomy with only Biodentine and the other group with the PRF-Biodentine combination. Single visit pulpotomy procedure was completed with the restoration. Later the patients were recalled after one day, three months and six months for clinical and radiographical evaluation. Results: Chi-square test was used to compare the responses for various study variables between Biodentine and PRF-Biodentine combination. The comparison between the two groups was statistically not significant. Conclusion: Single visit pulpotomy procedure performed with either Biodentine or Combined PRF and Biodentine was equally efficient at 6 months follow-up. But with PRF-Biodentine combination, PRF an ideal biomaterial which is autologous can help better than Biodentine alone in the success of vital pulp therapy

Streaming an audio over wireless networks is gaining very popularity now days. In view of this IEEE 802.15.4 standard is most used protocol for streaming an audio. It is the Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN) providing low data rate, low power which is need for long battery life. While streaming an audio the most important factor is the available bandwidth, so the speech samples must be compressed. By compressing an audio a lot bandwidth can be saved, this results in the more samples of speech to be sent on the available bandwidth. In this paper we present a survey on the implementation of audio over 802.15.4 by considering different parameters and speech vocoder because of availability of limited bandwidth.
