Need of library management in point view of proper human resource development, proper needs of security and explaining the moral education throughout the student are the ways to protect the libraries. Library should be developed according to technology, digitalization, proper cataloguing classification, book arrangement and classification book arrangement and book retrieval. Purchase of e-journal and providing it to student for current awareness service and selection dissimilation of services. Maintaining proper stock of books according to student intake is responsibility of management to prevent the any book theft and any inconvenience to student. RFID technique is also proved to be failed, so suitable option in library to avoid book theft is to appoint separate security for Library to appoint sufficient and efficient staff according to various norms and standards of human resource departments of Government. CCTV camera and alert, continuous observing staff is very essential. Otherwise library should go for implement close accesses system. Keywords: Staff, Lost, Status, Training, Work, Description.

In this research paper the study depicts the status of library automation in Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Aurangabad College libraries spread in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra state, with a comprehensive analysis. The article discusses the newly emerging trends and developments in the field of library science, the areas covered in this, are available library services and resources, status of library automation, digital library infrastructure, and means and ways for their improvement. The present study evaluates the library automation and services available in the M.S. P. Mandal’s college library. Data collected through distribution of questionnaire to 21 colleges but 17 college libraries responded to the questionnaire. The results of the survey are presented and discussed in this paper. Information is a vital tool and is central to human activities. It is very essential to human survival and a life-wire of any organization because of its significance in rational decision- making and a data of value in planning and the execution of programme in any given society. The foregoing implies that the information as a strategic resource for virtually any person, organizations or establishments must be adequately made accessible at all times to all people, no matter their social, economic and political deprivations. In order to realize this, a more cultured information service delivery approach must be employed. The paper advocates the application of attitudinal approach for an effective information service delivery and discusses some positive attitudes that can enhance effective information service delivery. Many of the information professionals observe that new technological development in the form of computers, telecommunications, electronics and Internet have been adopted in libraries to serve the researchers & academics. In the present digital world where Information Technology has become an essential part of the libraries. However libraries continue to increase their use of IT, the security risk increasing more rapidly. Misuse by professionals, students, users, viruses, hackers and other abuse have created need for various ways and methods implementing in Information Security. In this article an attempt has been made by the investigators to study the preservation techniques employed by archival centres in management of archival documents in Ernakulam District. A combination of various methods Questionnaire, Interview and observation are employed for conducting the study. Selected archival centres are found practising various techniques for document management like classification, cataloguing, and automation etc. Most of the archival centres are following basic preservation techniques like lamination, acidification and fumigation etc. for preservation of documents.
