The article attempts a philosophical analysis of the digitalization of religious space in the conditions of the «new reality». The emphasis is placed on the fact that the conditions provoked by the pandemic crisis contributed to the rapprochement of human religious life and virtual space. It is argued that a new reflection, forming a new picture of human existence within the boundaries of religious culture, arose as a result of a partial or complete loss of a person's traditional habitual level of communication. The article also gives the author's definition of religious space as a space of religious culture, within the boundaries of which the interaction of a person's religious being (religious life) and digital communication (virtual space) is seen. In the conditions of modern society, the problems and processes occurring within the boundaries of religious space are revealed through the prism of digitalization, transforming the field of communicative relations, which acquire a new meaning. The conclusion is presented that in religious culture there is a new style of communication at the level of digital communication, embedded in the religious being (religious life) of a person, where a person in his traditional appeal to God begins to see the possibility of a different form of interaction, i.e. through online resources. In this regard, it is noted that a new type of communication is being formed within the boundaries of the religious space, introduced by digital technologies.

The complication of relations in the society of the Enlightenment required the development of a scientifically based foresight of political dynamics. This led to the interest of scientists in cyclic concepts. Within the framework of the comparative-historical and systematic approach, the author considers the formation of their theoretical and methodological foundations. The main attention is paid to the content of the concepts. It is considered in the context of the worldview that dominated the Enlightenment. Each concept is an ideal scheme where scientists describe a complex reality in a simplified way. This made the theories open to criticism and further scientific research. The author comes to the conclusion that since the Enlightenment there have been four trends in the process of forming the theoretical and methodological foundations. First, the concept of linear progress is firmly established in the social sciences. In the future, it served as the basis for political research. Secondly, scientists finally departed from the religious worldview. In their writings, they laid the foundations for a logical and rational approach to the study of the development of society. Thirdly, the bourgeois revolutions generated an interest in the study of social conflicts. To analyze changes in society, scientists used cyclical and linear approaches. Fourthly, interest in the topic of the “golden age” has been preserved in society. During the Age of Enlightenment, this topic was further developed. Scientists have made attempts to realize abstract models of an ideal society.

Contemporary Western foreign policy rhetoric is defined as hyper-postmodern. The cliche “Putin's inflation” is shown as the result of the exclusion of the necessary logical link, flawed logic or its complete absence. At the same time, it is a “strong” metaphor used as a semiotic icon in ideological rhetoric conducted in a strictly controlled media space – knowledge of the laws of semantics and advertising is inherent in experienced behind-the-scenes puppeteers standing behind the backs of politicians who are rather illiterate in geopolitical terms. Thanks to the method of ascent from the particular to the general, from real facts, the model of a “democratic” state is reproduced in the Western view. The resulting surreal picture has nothing to do with the classical definition of democracy, reminiscent of the Third Reich or an ideal state from the point of view of ISIS. This rhetoric is not logical and not pragmatic, as it is based on the ideology of hyper-moralism (A. Grau) – hypertrophied morality, not moral, having no other basis than itself and based on the “rules” it establishes. This rhetoric deserves the name of hyper-postmodernist, because it is hypertrophied and, surpassing the present, is not aimed at the future. If hyper-moralism, by extolling “gender diversity”, calls into question the continuation of the human race, hyper-postmodern foreign policy rhetoric and its continuation policies not only destroy the economy, but also threaten the future of the planet.

The problems of Chinese-American relations over the course of fifty years since the establishment of the first contacts, related to the solution of the Taiwan issue, which, according to the official representatives of the PRC, is a key one in bilateral relations, are considered. The evolution and reasons for the change in the approaches of the Chinese and American sides to solving this problem are analyzed. In conclusion, it is indicated that in modern conditions, taking into account various circumstances, both objective and subjective, such a development of events that can dramatically change the state of modern Sino-American relations is not excluded.

The institutionalization of business-government relations has acquired a global character and has spread not only in the developed Western countries but in Latin America too. Informal practices are being replaced by the formalization of lobbying in business-government relations. Using the example of Chile and Peru, which were among the first in the region to embark on the path of forming an open and transparent system of business-government relations, this article analyzes the legal regulating of lobbying. The subject of comparative analysis is the lobbying laws is these states. The features of formal lobbying institutionalization are identified on the basis of the following criteria: interpretation of lobbying and lobbying activities, subjects and objects of lobbying, requirements for actors, ways and opportunities for their communication, and sanctions for non-compliance with these norms.

This article looks at the Soviet-North Korean alliance from the mid-1950s to the early 1960s, with a focus on the often understudied connection between international politics and domestic economic development strategies. It traces and explains the changes in bilateral relations, from a relatively disinterested provision of assistance on the Soviet part and the desire to emulate the USSR on the part of North Korea, to an investment interest of the Soviet Union in the North Korean economic policies, and back to the Soviet Union as a donor of aid aiming to retain the DPRK within its orbit, with North Korea striving to assert self-sufficiency and distance itself. The article also explores the differences in the position of North Korea and the Soviet Union on economic matters and the disputes over prioritizing heavy industry development that took place at the time. Based on a variety of primary sources, it shows how the alliance dynamics was reflected in the economic sphere. It argues that economic matters played a significant role in the cooling of bilateral relations by the mid-1960s.

The problem of creating optimal harmonious state-religious relations in the North Caucasus region was one of the main in the historical period of Russia. It also has a high significance in modern Russian public discourse. The authors based on the analysis of the provisions of the Holy Books in religious and political scientific works, and used the methods of functionalism and system analysis. The authors of the article argue the thesis that the uniqueness of Russia lies not only in a special historical and geographical location, in the combination of the qualities of the West and the East, but also in the development of religious traditions. National tradition and culture’s consideration of all large territory of Russia, its ethnic and religious components, is the guarantee of greatness of the country. In this regard, the model of state-religious relations in the concept of partnership between the state and religious organizations must be based on the constitutional foundations, on the principles of severalty, non-intervention and equidistance of religious organizations from the state. In conditions of religious and political syncretism, this model must be based on optimal partnerships and strengthening social and political stability in the region.
