In the IT industry, software maintenance after system delivery is a major concern for any system development team. Software maintenance involves system updates for new customer requirements and error corrections within the delivered software. The management of maintenance is the service management of IT products, the cost of which can account for more than 50% of the total development budget. A major reason for the high cost is the changes brought about by the software updates and error corrections. Inconsistencies in the changes occurring in software development and service management afterwards cause confusion and misunderstanding, leading to further difficulties of maintenance, which enevitably result in further cost increases. To keep the consistency of software products and improve the service management in IT software products, software configuration management(SCM) is an approach. Here, a conceptual framework is set up to introduce relationships between the four areas of SCM and implement mandatory referential integrity between them within the software development stages, then maintain these enforced relationships between stages. It can set up rules to ensure mandatory integrity in changes, retaining consistency and improving Service Management. It is flexible enough to apply with any development models, waterfall, rapid prototyping, spiral development, etc.

Many companies' distribution center need to lease containers to delivery the cargos according to the received orders and cargoes need to be packed into containers before they are delivered by airplane. In this study, a dynamic programming method is brought forward to solve this problem based on the solution of a mix-integer linear programming sub-problem. The mix-integer linear programming sub-problem is used to select container selection and optimize cargo loading, and dynamic programming method is used to optimize container leasing plan for orders within a certain period. The numerical tests show the method is efficient and great cost can be saved.

This research seeks to provide a Weblog-based knowledge management solution to solve the problem of knowledge sharing and knowledge creation in organizations. The methods include literature analysis and discussion with experts. We first examine the major problems of technology-oriented knowledge management model in knowledge sharing and knowledge creation: the emphasis on explicit knowledge, and the 'push' style that neglects the demand and motivation of individual. And then, by synthesizing and integrating relevant material, we propose a systematic Weblog-based knowledge management model of a 'pull' style and a practical implementation method in order to solve the problem of former model. By discussing the weaknesses of Weblog-based model - incompleteness in knowledge capturing and uncontrollability in management, we recommend that the best implementation is to combine the advantages of both models in order to form a two-way and cyclical Weblog-based model.

This paper analyzes the coordination of returns policy for single-period supply chain under supplier and retailer, the later has been constrained by downside risk. We model the decision problem with newsboy model and then analytically derive the optimal policies of the supply chain. Compared with the case of no risk constraints, the study has shown that the expected profits of both members of supply chain have been reduced under the control of the returns policy. Accordingly, the "least risk sharing" is optimal choice for both parties. We close with a discussion of contract implementation issues and future research.

In this paper, the value relevance of asset impairment of the loss listed companies is studied. The study shows: in total, the value relevance of the accounting earnings of the loss listed companies is enhanced after the allocation of impairment of asset reserves. The impairment reserves data itself has value relevance. Meanwhile, this paper find that the value relevance of accounting earnings of the loss listed companies in the loss year is less than that in profitable year; the accounting information in profitable year is more useful for investors.

Cluster is a new pattern of competitive economy and region and synergic competition is one of important mechanisms to obtain competitive advantage of clusters. At first, the article analyzes motivation of small and medium-sized enterprises' synergic competition from necessity and possibility aspects based on cluster theory and points out the reason why the small and medium-sized enterprises in cluster is easier than others to form synergic competition mechanism, then the author puts forward some specific measures to solve the problems which impede establishment synergic competition mechanism of cluster in China.

This study examined a mediated model of the relationship between proactive personality and job performance (N=131). The model suggests that proactive personality was correlated with contextual performance, and proactive employees were more likely to be motivated by status striving, which, in turn, enabled them to perform better in contextual performance.

System dynamics have over the years proven its usefulness in corporate strategy forming. The purpose of the paper is to investigate, how system dynamics modeling can be supportive for strategy implementation of service innovation in organizations. In order to do so, we briefly discuss the problem about strategy implementation of service innovation and propose methodology based on the quantitative model for service innovation strategy (QMSIS). Besides conceptual considerations, we base our arguments on a detailed case study from an auto financing company. Findings of this paper are that system dynamics modeling can be helpful for strategy implementation in regards to both strategy refinement and transfer of insights and understanding underlying the innovation process. The originality of this paper lies in the proposition of the usage of system dynamics modeling in strategy implementation of new service development (NSD), where the field of system dynamics traditionally make use of flight simulators or qualitative system dynamics, rather than formal modeling and simulation.

This paper studies on the components of cooperative technology innovation. By constructing the cooperative technology innovation model based on Multi-Agent, we examine the mutual effects mechanism of technology spillover in cooperation and enterprises' innovation competence. We present the simulation models and examine the validity of model. We conclude that enterprises' innovation competence increased by the level of cooperation technology spillover in Multi-Agent cooperation system. We also conclude that the credit mechanism can impel the technology spillover and enhance the innovation competence of the cooperation system.

A new method of Fuzzy neural network to estimate the contribution of different education level on human capital has been proposed in this article. By using fuzzy neural network mapping, this article has estimated the contribution of education on human capital at four levels (illiteracy & primary, junior, senior and higher) in three regions of China with different science and technology level. It is possible to conclude that the contribution of education in these three regions is remarkably different. Education itself does not necessarily have positive impact on actual human capital. Illiteracy & primary may have negative impacts in certain regions. Meanwhile, non-educational factors have significant positive impacts on human capital.
