Over the past few years, public awareness of environmental aspects has dramatically increased. Since the disposition of end-of-life products has caused tremendous attention, Reverse logistics system planning shall become vital as the take-back rate increases and the service area expands in the future. This study combines GI/G/m queuing model and adaptive genetic algorithm to optimize the capacity of the recovery facilities, the infrastructure design and the reverse network flow. The proposed model attempts to minimize the total cost, which consists of collection cost, transportation cost, fixed cost for facilities, variable cost, disposal cost, as well as the sale revenue of reclaimed materials and revenue of selling two-hands products.

The evaluation of service quality is very important for fast food industry. This paper construct the service quality evaluation system of fast food industry based on the customer's point of view, and put forward the questionnaire of service quality in fast food restaurant (FFR). Through the investigation and analysis, a valuable target system of service quality in FFR was constructed. Due to the strong correlation between the indicator variables, simultaneously in order to ensure minimum data loss, it can be used for multi-dimensional system reduces the dimensions of the principal component analysis. Using the SPSS statistical software to change the nine evaluation factors of service quality in FFR into nine related principal component and then according the mark result and list names. Finally, this article takes KFC, McDonald's, Yonghe King and Malan Lamian four fast-foods restaurant as examples; identify the key factors affecting the service quality of FFR.

With the aim of revenue maximization of e-business website through resource optimization allocation of e-business system, a framework of client-class based resource optimization allocation is proposed based on which FCM clustering algorithm as well as a validity index for fuzzy clustering is used for client classification in terms of the clients' attributes such as revenue contribution level to the website. With the membership matrix and the client classification matrix generated by cluster analysis, dynamic programming and an optimization algorithm for resource allocation proposed are utilized for the allocation of the currently available resources of the e-business system. Through the application of the framework and the algorithms proposed, resources of the e-business system are allocated to clients of different classes in a rational, efficient and optimized manner.

The key problem of designing the operation schedule for public transit lines is to determine the departing time interval. Through studying on influence factors in bus dispatching and passenger flow variety rule in public transit lines, this paper provides a model of controlling departing time interval, which considers both generalized trip cost of passenger and bus enterprise operation cost. The model and algorithm is validated by the scheduling data of No.5, the bus demonstration route of Tianjin.

To achieve accreditation is an effective way for educational institutions to assess and improve quality of education. Another way to promote continuous quality improvement in education is to use Education Criteria for Performance Excellence. In this paper, AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Accreditation Standards and Education Criteria for Performance Excellence are introduced and compared through correlation analysis and contrast analysis. Relationship and difference between the two are discovered, and the conclusion that business schools can use Education Criteria for Performance Excellence to meet or exceed AACSB Accreditation Standards, is heuristic for domestic business schools to realize significant benefits.

Nowadays, churn prediction and management is critical for more and more companies in the fast changing and strongly competitive telecommunication market. In order to improve customer retention, telecommunication companies must be able to predict customers at risk who are prone to switch service provider. In this study, to overcome the limitations of lack of information of customers of Personal Handyphone System Service (PHSS) and to build an effective and accurate customer churn model, three research experimentations (changing sub-periods for training data sets, changing misclassification cost in churn model, changing sample methods for training data sets) are put forward to improve the prediction performance of churn model by using decision tree which is used widely, some optimal parameters (the time of sub-period being 10 days, misclassification cost being 1:5, and random sample method for train set) of models are found under the help of three research experimentations. The empirical evaluation results suggest that customer churn models built have a good performance through the course of model optical selecting, and show that the methods and techniques proposed are effective and feasible under the condition that information of customers is very little and class distribution is skewed. This study benefits not only churn prediction research and practice but also other data mining applications with similar characteristics.

Based on the analyzing the functions and characteristics of medical image management system, an extendable visualization system for 3D medical data field is designed and realized in the IDL platform. First, the system designs a series of preprocessing methods suit for the specific characteristics of medical image; Then, the system advances and adopts feature region segmentation and data mining clustering and other methods to segment 3D medical data field directly, and two levels projection of sorted voxel block and other methods to rendering image; Finally, some realization images show that the system can rendering and manage 3D medical data field conveniently and effectively in the PC .

Current literature on information sharing mainly focuses on the study of traditional channel framework, ignoring characteristics of the combination of traditional channel and E-channel. In this paper, we investigate the performance of combined traditional channel and E-channel affected by forecasting information sharing in a competing environment. We develop a model to examine the impact of market risk, potential marketing scale, forecasting accuracy, and competitive intensity of the dual channel on the performance of each party who involved the information sharing and its strategic behaviour. Furthermore, we identify the modes of information sharing and game characteristics of dual channels by comparing with the case without information sharing.

The channel conflict management is an important part of channel management and effective incentive mechanism design is the core issue of channel conflict management. A incentive model of channel member based on principal-agent theory is discussed in this paper. By calculating, the optimal incentive contracts are given when the effort level of channel member can be investigated or not. The influences of marginal production, coefficient of cost, level of absolute risk reversion, variance of uncertain random variable on incentive mechanism are explored.

This study begins with measuring Chinese and Japanese listed companies' business performance by the company's market power efficiency and profitability efficiency basing on stochastic frontier analysis in household appliance industry from 2001 to 2004. This estimation shows that Chinese average technical efficiency score is about half of Japanese score on both market power efficiency and profitability efficiency. Then this paper jointly analyzes advertising and R&D activity's effect on the two efficiencies. These estimations indicate that R&D activity cannot promote firm's market power efficiency, but can promote profitability efficiency in long-term; and advertising and promotion would play a significantly positive role to firm's market power and profitability efficiency in short-term.
