In this paper, we represent a novel approach for detecting multi-relations among network community related activities. By using semantic information and social network analysis (SNA). We can mining various features of groups of people through their network text inter-communications, such as E-mail or BBS and the like. Our method also differentiates and labels distinct relations between people from different aspects of their works, which may help security or management officers to be objective through analyzing the framework of the semantic communities distribution, to extract the clues they need to support the early preventions or controls. The dataset used to validate this study is a collection of Email data from one of Chinese research unit, and the E-mail records from Enron corp., which is retrieved freely from the Internet. This method could be applied to many similar researches for some given purposes.

Nowadays customer preference has aroused concerns in customer satisfaction researches of e-learning, but specifications of user psychology can not been stated clearly in existing tools. This paper describes an individual-centered e-learning tool taking into account the full spectrum of Web mining techniques and activities, presents a multi-agents architecture based on artificial psychology techniques, which will make the e-learning process both adaptable and dynamic, and hence up-to-date. Knowledge base techniques are used to support the adaptation of agents' cycle, and artificial psychology techniques and beliefs techniques are combined to manage preference and experimental knowledge and to realize more effective and more precise knowledge management.

Manpower planning and scheduling, which involves both skill and time window restrictions, are important in service industry. However, when unanticipated events occur on the actual day of operation, the planned schedule becomes infeasible and as a result, any planned schedule may not be implemented. Thus, disruption recovery of planned resources is essential. It is critical to get back on track in a timely manner while effectively using the available resources. The advancement in decision support system (DSS) along with the improving computer processing speed provides boundless opportunity for advancements in the area of disruption management. This paper presents a manpower recovery decision support system (MRDSS) for solving manpower recovery problems with time window and skill restrictions. The solution methodology developed in this study solves rescheduling problem with the intervention of rule based search technique to represent all the constraints. A rescheduling engine is developed to repair the disrupted schedule. By using data provided by an in-flight catering service provider in Malaysia, extensive computational tests are performed to evaluate the MRDSS. Multiple solutions approach along with extra essential information gives decision makers a better position to make a good decision in recovering the manpower during disruption.

Businesses are evaluating how RFID enables real-time information look-ups and updates that can help them with logistics planning and business decision-making. What has been hindering the adoption of RFID in potential application domain, including supply chain and logistics, is a list of concerns such as security, complexity of the technology, and interoperability etc. In this paper, we present a technology adoption analysis framework with value integration capabilities that can be used to evaluate technology adoption. We will illustrate the use of this framework in a case study of Hong Kong's urging request of service and technology innovation for its supply chain businesses.

Compatibility is very important to the production and marketing of the network products .The thesis creates a general model of duopoly compatibility ,and calculates the defense equilibrium prices, the profits of manufacturers, the utility of consumers and the social welfare. Through compatibility of three special models which are complete incompatibility model's calculations and conclusions , complete compatibility model's calculations and conclusions and one-way compatibility model's calculations, we conclude that compatibility is how to affect the defense equilibrium prices, the profits of manufacturers, the utility of consumers and the social welfare. Our conclusion is as follows : (1) from the production of manufacturers, producing compatible machines get larger profits than incompatible machines. (2)From the consumers, producing incompatible machines get more utilities than compatible machines. (3) From the social welfare, producing compatible machines get larger welfares than incompatible machines.

To meet the personalized needs of users in E-service, such as E-learning and E-commerce, a personalized service system based on E-service (PSSES) is proposed. The structure of system and key technologies of realizing user interest module, personality filtering module are introduced in the paper. After the test use of the service system by some users, we found that the system could transform recessive demand to obvious demand for users. Thus, we thought it might be a practical solution to meet personalized needs of users essentially.

This paper thinks there are growing quality diversities between the fast growing enterprises, which is influenced by the credit risk. This paper narrates the aforementioned viewpoint by a theory model, and proves there are growing quality diversities between the fast growing enterprises in China, and some factors that may induce the growing quality diversity are analyzed by a logit regressing model.

Decision forest (DF) is an implementation of multiple classifier system, which has been introduced to overcome the flaw of a single decision tree. In this paper, a method named the random subspace method (RSM) for constructing DF is investigated. RSM can keep perfect accuracy on training data while having desirable generalization accuracy. Moreover, its accuracy continues to increase as DF becomes larger, exhibiting a characteristic of overtraining resistant. The underlying theory of this model is presented in this paper. A comparison of three combination methods for this model voting, Bayesian method and neural-network is carried out. The power of voting is demonstrated both theoretically and experimentally. As for the application of this method, the superiority of RSM is explored and an advice regarding the size of attribute subsets is given.

The traditional land-use statistics based on administrative districts can not represent the spatial differences of land-use composition entirely. By introducing spatial hierarchy and non-spatial hierarchy the Statistical Information Grid-Based method is extended then it can manage and analyze land-use statistics in virtue of a kind of multi-grid data structure. Using a part of TM images of Wuhan district some experiments are carried out: the creation of quaternary breakdown multi-grids according to the complexity of land-use structure and the landscape diversity which can be figured out by TM image; the simulation of administrative borderline using grid cells; the computation and representation of the spatial difference in cultivated land per capita of the district, these experiments indicate land-use statistics based on multi-grids can show the spatial differences of land-use composition better and make for the land resources data-mining to achieve knowledge needed.

With the fast development of computer communication and especially the Internet and Web technology, more and more service activities have been conducted on the Internet. An important quality criterion for Internet-based services is performance, usually measured by response time. Performance has been a key to provide satisfactory services to end customers and to survive in severe competition. In our research, we develop a new data structure for XML, which is becoming the dominating language in developing Internet and Web information systems, including service systems. The new data structure can be used to build XML systems. This data structure is based on the "sibling-first" concept we proposed. It is aimed at achieving good performance when search-by-path is conducted in large XML documents. Experimental results and comparison show that a system on this data structure out-performs the existing systems.
