Nanomedicines are increasingly being used to diagnose, prevent and treat human diseases. Nanotechno- logical advances are enabling targeted delivery of difficult to deliver innovative therapies, including gene editing and disease correcting gene delivery, highly lipophilic cytotoxic cancer drugs, mod RNA, etc. Although nanomedicines offer great opportunities for targeted delivery, they have increasingly faced safety, disposi- tion, CMC and manufacturing challenges that have limited their utility.

This study analyzed drug prescribing patterns for urinary tract infections (UTIs) among patients aged 12–80 years, male and female and assessed drug use in such cases. Comprised a quantitative, drug prescribing observational study and employed more than 90 confirmed cases of UTIs. The specimens investigated were collected from different hospitals in the Najran Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Stokes technique was used to observe the sensitivity pattern of the isolates. The analyses showed 90.0% of total iso- lated organisms were Gram-negative bacteria.

Drug development describes the process of developing a new drug that effectively targets a specific weakness in a cell. This process involves specific pre-clinical development and testing, followed by trials in humans to determine the efficacy of the drug. Journal of Developing Drugs is a peer reviewed journal, which extensively brings to you the contemporary discoveries and developments in the world of science and medicine.

Pharmaceutical prices in the United States, both proprietary brand names and generics have skyrocketed over the last two decades. The prices of generics, although there are multiple worldwide manufacturers, have gone up exponentially. One of the significant costs drivers in the United States are the PBM,’s pharmacy benefits managers, middlemen. Author presentation will document this and a solution to the problem will be presented. He will show that the repeal of the PBM Safeharbor granted by the federal government in two, has resulted in major price increases. If the safe harbor is removed, prices will plummet to a stable point. He will show that the repeal of the PBM Safeharbor granted by the US federal government in 2002, has resulted in major price increases. If the PBM Safe-harbor is removed, prices will plummet to a stable point as determined by market forces.

Famasi Jamii is a fully registered program that focuses on the provision of information about medicines that are used by the community, including their proper use and handling. Author also provides education, with the aim increasing awareness, on various issues of public health importance. According to reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), patients’ adherence to treatment regimens is lower in middle and low income countries, probably one of the reasons being the lack of appropriate information about the medicines. Improp- er use of medicines (antibiotics particularly) is also a major cause of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), a serious problem that has jeopardized public health.

The present day synthetic chemistry demands development of novel carboncarbon bond forming reactions based on the concept of environmental protection. Synthetic chemists have been working in this direction for the last several years. The Baylis-Hillman reaction is one such reaction developed in recent years, on the basis of concepts of atom economy and organo-catalysis that are most important components of environmental protection. Ind-2- en-1- one framework represents an important class of carbocyclic molecules because these derivatives are found in important natural products.

Phytopharmaceuticals are healing the world from millions and billions of years even though their clinical validation is questioned by virtue of their impediments like low lipid solubility, poor stability, large size moiety and needless metabolism in gut. Phytosome technology has emerged as committed and promising targeting novel drug delivery with improved efficacy, quality and target ability of active plant constituents. Novel herbal formulation techniques have assured the researchers to deliver the plant based secondary metabolites to their systemic targets. This review highlights the unique properties of phytophospholipid complex along with their application in the novel natural drug delivery. Various methods employed in phytosomal preparation and characterization along with the phytosomal advantages over conventional herbal extracts is described in the present review. The prospectus of phytosome technique can suggest new directions and endless frontier as novel drug regimen.
