Labour incomes and economic activity in Poland 波兰的劳动收入和经济活动

The purpose of the paper is to examine the impact of labour incomes on economic activity and growth in Poland.The thesis of the paper is rooted in the hypothesis of underconsumption and it claims that a proportion of labour incomes to the domestic product exerts an influence on the structure and the value of the aggregate demand and thus it eventually has an effect on economic activity. Empirical analysis provided refers to macroeconomic data for the period 2010-2019.The results support the thesis; relatively low growth of labour incomes is followed by low rates of economic growth and investment and higher rates of unemployment.The analysis of changes in real production per employee, real wages, the rate of unemployment, the rate of GDP growth and changes in households’ consumption spending strongly support the claim that low wages at least periodically stand behind a demand constraint in the Polish economy and that they impair economic results.

Just Culture assessment tool and its verification in a small seafood organization 公正文化评估工具及其在小型海产食品组织中的验证

Purpose: The aim of the article is to present a proposal for a just culture (JC) assessment tool and the results of its verification. Methods: In the research process the case study method, supported by analysis of the company's documentation, unstructured interview, statistical analysis, and the method of synthesis and logical reasoning were used. Results: It was confirmed that the JC assessment tool used by the studied organization is reliable. The study succeeded in establishing both the overall and partial levels of JC. Although the level of JC can be considered satisfactory, there are important management aspects that need more care than before. Areas for improvement were proposed. Conclusions: Employees' opinions are not statistically different from each other. Employees equally perceive the need for necessary training, safety as a priority at work, the convenience of reporting errors, and the need to respond to problems. Opinions on JC are not dependent on employee work experience.

Forest management as an element of sustainable regional development. Pedagogical and legal aspects. 作为地区可持续发展要素的森林管理。 教学和法律方面。

The purpose of this article is to analyse the processes related to the expansion of the role which forest management plays as an element shaping sustainable regional development. Two specific objectives will serve this purpose. The first of these concerns legal regulations governing forest management arising from both Polish and EU legal systems, and the second pertains to the pedagogical dimension of forest education as a component of education for sustainable regional development. TThe analysis of the proposed research issue will be carried out using the legal dogmatic method and, to some extent, the historical method and the legal comparative method.A key task is to create an appropriate legal instrument, both in the legislative and executive domains. The lack of key legal solutions in these areas may lead to legal stagnation in the implementation of sustainable forest management or the need to recognise the solutions adopted at the EU level, which are not always seen as beneficial to a given Member State.Firstly, a de lege ferenda postulate is to legally regulate the operation of a sustainable forest management system in the Forest Act, by introducing a statutory obligation to prepare a national forestry strategy and regional forestry strategies. Secondly, the process of regulating the above issues should be intrinsically linked to the introduction of legal solutions in the field of forest education in its broadest sense

Sustainability communication on Twitter: disability disclosures of listed companies in Poland 推特上的可持续发展交流:波兰上市公司的残疾信息披露

A rapidly growing corporate use of social media can support corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability advocacy of listed companies enhancing the positive image of people with disabilities and social inclusion. Emphasizing CSR towards people with disability (D), abbreviated CSR+D or CSR-D, is customary. The aim of the study is to examine the use of Twitter to highlight advocacy efforts for people with disabilities by the sixty best sustainability-oriented WSE listed companies in Poland.We examined keywords and their popularity and context using topic modeling and text mining based on corporate tweets. Tweets’ topics were extracted using the DMM model from 154,496 company media uploads. Then, the occurring themes were determined.The results indicate a very limited promotion of CSR activities on Twitter. Accordingly, also limited use of Twitter in communicating disability with no diffusion of topics was observed, despite an overall increase of corporate social media use. Disability issues were are far more often communicated for high-profile events related to disability. Only a few tweets appeared on Down syndrome, with more frequent tweets referring to visual, hearing, or autism disorders. However, tweets about disability receive more users’ reactions and gain a wider audience than example those related to seniors or climate. More results on topics and their popularity due to the sector, time and accompanying events were included.The research contribute to understanding of the evolving social media tools and their corporate whereas there is limited or paid access to data.

The presented analysis of the issue is based on experiences of living during the COVID-19 pandemic. The second part presents the characteristics of provided and received social support. Finally, the third part presents Catholic social coexistence rules as norms which can shape a personalistic social order. Additionally, this final section provides the practical implications of implementing two principles - love and subsidiarity - in order to increase the effectiveness of provided and received support. The last part consists of the final conclusions referring to the possibility of applying the Catholic principles of social coexistence in building assistance-providing relationships. The article attempts to answer questions on the importance of the principles of social coexistence for interpersonal support, both to help other people and to receive support from the social environment. In this context, two research questions can be posed. Are the principles of social coexistence essential for providing help to another human being? Are the rules of social coexistence important for people receiving support from others?

Abstract The world labor market is characterized by growing dynamics and strong volumes of labor export and import, which is realized through international labor migration. The movement of the labor force carries out several important functions in the global economy – from income redistribution to the exchange of professional experience, the spread of new innovative technologies, and the growth of labor productivity. In addition, the socio-economic implications of international labor migration for donor countries and recipient countries are ambiguous, they differ in the short, medium, and long-term periods.The study aims to analyze the impact of the socio-economic consequences of international labor migration. The article also focuses on the world experience in shaping and influencing the socio-economic consequences of international labor migration for the donor countries and for the importing countries of the labor force.

The essay analyses religious experience, which today is far from connoting itself as a rationalistic practice. Especially in the 20th century, the religious has acquired a renewed vitality, more detached from dogma, but more open to faith and the transcendent.The treatment of the subject involved a critical analysis of the scientific literature, both pedagogical and more specialised, with reference to the meanings assumed by religious experience in recent decades. From a methodological point of view, recourse was made to the heuristic method and a historical-pedagogical method was also followed in order to precisely interpret the relationship between the aspiration of contemporary pedagogy to promote a subject that is indeed socialised but in a critical and divergent perspective and the religious dimension.The research has brought to light two fundamental concepts. The first is the desire to bring religiosity back into its formative dimension, thus linking it to the process of the person's development; the second relates to the recovery of the marginalised dimension, with the elimination of what hinders an effective pedagogical-educational reading of man.To conclude, a circularity is re-established between religiosity and development, starting from the incisiveness of religious experience in the development of human beings in the third millennium. Above all, self-centered reasoning loses every fundamentalist presumption, it relates to human realities and responds to the concrete experiences of men thus revealing its essential relevance and importance for better thinking about the complete education of modern man as an intellectual and spiritual being.

How do responsible universities perceive their social engagement? In search of signs of Creating Shared Value by the University 负责任的大学如何看待其社会参与?寻找大学创造共享价值的迹象

University social responsibility still lacks legitimisation and is perceived as a burden that hinders academics from doing research and teaching. Creating Shared Value by the University may serve as a tool to motivate universities to engage in initiatives for society, as this is beneficial for both parties. Yet, some researchers perceive the creation of economic value as inappropriate for academia. Thus, it was interesting to examine how the world's best universities elaborate on this matter.A thematic analysis of textual data published online by universities in the top 30 in THE Impact Rankings 2022 has been conducted to determine if they create shared value and what benefits they create or expect.Signs of indirect Creating Shared Value by the University were observed in the dataset. Some universities create social and economic benefits from the same initiatives, mainly strategic. The observed benefits are both intangible and tangible, but most are related to increasing brand value: receiving recognition and awards, building reputation, strengthening competitive advantage, boosting brand attractiveness, and employer branding. Universities modestly mention that they gain tangible benefits, such as an expansion of research funds, and earned or passive income, which may point out that such values are not perceived as suitable in an academic context yet.The results shed new light on the perception of creating economic value in academia, indicating that CSVU could be a legitimate tool to develop the theory and practice of USR. Still, results suggest that any CSVU framework should focus primarily on intangible benefits.

Cyber threats in rail traffic in Poland 波兰铁路交通中的网络威胁

A rising network of interconnections, new technologies and an increasing degree of digitization mean that the rail sector, both locally, as well as to a global degree, is currently in the midst of significant internal transformations. Both the business model and infrastructure are being transformed, including that for information systems. The purpose of this analysis is to systemic approach to the subject. Cyber threats are treated here not as a cause of insecurity, but as the result of a system's frailty. The subject of the study is discussed in the context of rail traffic in Poland. The author points out the changes in cyber security that Poland is experiencing and suggests possible scenarios for the near future. He points out that train traffic security is one of the main aspects of the digitization of critical infrastructure in Poland. The author aims to show that train traffic security depends on a number of factors. The article presents a proposed typology of cyber threats to rail traffic.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the legal status of a special negotiations team as a temporary participating entity in the Act on companies established as a result of cross-border transformation, merger or division.The article uses the legal dogmatic method.Based on the directive of contractual freedom, I am of the opinion that there are no legal barriers that might prevent the parties from including other important issues in the agreement, for example those related to the legal mechanisms of maintaining the negotiations confidential. The special negotiations team may also include in the agreement a consent for limiting the employees’ participation rights in a company created as a result of trans-border transformation, merger or division of companies.The special negotiations team as an entity of a participatory nature has a temporary status, because its main task is to enter in the participatory agreement with the competent body of the company. Upon concluding the agreement, the team is dissolved ex lege.
