The rapid development of online commerce has led to changes in consumer actions and behavior, which has forced conventional traders to find ways to survive. This study aims to find out the extent to which social capital consisting of beliefs, networks and values or norms to see conventional merchants survive with the rise of online commerce or e-commerce. The theoretical approach used is social interaction theory and rational choice theory, The results of the study show that social capital has an important role in survival, especially social relationships, norms and beliefs. This shows that social interaction is needed as social capital and a rational choice to continue trading conventionally. Social capital becomes a significant source of social power, which provides access to opportunities, resources, information and support within society. E-commerce activities indirectly erode the existence of conventional merchants, thus requiring conventional merchants to follow technological developments to be more competent with e-commerce.

This article aims to examine the effect of social media marketing via Instagram on MSME culinary buying decisions. In the digital era, lifestyle is influenced by something that is trending and viral. The use of social media in obtaining information is the most important stage for making purchasing decisions. One of the marketing media that is currently in great demand by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for sales promotion media is social media marketing. The business marketing strategy carried out by MSME actors by utilizing Instagram to do business by uploading the product content they are marketing is persuasive in nature which can attract buyers. This article uses a quantitative descriptive research method, data collection is done by distributing questionnaires through the Google form. The results of the study show that content sharing, connected has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. But content creation, community building has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions so that the hypothesis proves the truth. The partial results (t test) show that the content sharing variable contributes the most dominantly to purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, simultaneously (F test) shows that creating content, sharing content, connecting, building a community together (simultaneously) has a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Fresh flour holds significant cultural importance for several tribes in Indonesia, often used in traditional ceremonies such as weddings, childbirth, circumcision, and pilgrimage. This practice has its roots in Hindu rituals and was further influenced by the introduction of Islamic teachings brought by Gujarat and Hadramaut traders in the 7th century AD. These animist and vitalistic traditions, intertwined with Hinduism, continue to hold a strong presence in society. The purpose of this ceremony is to seek protection from danger, ward off misfortune, and gain blessings from deities and supernatural forces. The ritual involves the use of leaves and water, often fragranced with substances like kaffir lime, potpourri, or roses. Rice and paddy, mixed with salt and turmeric, are also sprinkled on individuals as part of the ceremony. Additionally, this tradition serves as a means of preserving cultural heritage, passed down through generations. However, there are differing views regarding this practice, with some considering it an act of shirk due to the belief in the supernatural powers associated with the objects used in the flour ritual. In Aceh, for example, plain flour is utilized in planting rituals, believed to bring good luck and provide sustenance. As a result, plain flour holds significant influence as it can impact an individual's faith and beliefs.

This study aims to determine speech acts in pragmatics related to locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary. The source of the data in this study was the drama script Nyanyian Kardus by Puntung CM. Pudjadi which was published by Interlude with a thickness of 94 pages. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The instrument in this research is a documentation study. The data analysis technique is by reading, understanding the contents of the drama script, finding relevant sources of information, making observations, analyzing data, drawing conclusions from the research results. The results obtained are: (a) locutionary speech acts related to the meaning of words that explain or inform something clearly without any other purpose or meaning in it. (b) illocutionary speech acts related to the hidden meaning of a word or statement. (c) perlocutionary speech acts related to someone's meaning or attitude towards a sentence that is heard or read.

This study aims to examine the position of simantek kuta within the current structure of the Karo indigenous community, its legal relationship with customary land, and its authority in resolving land disputes. The research utilizes the legal sociology method, employing analytical descriptive analysis. Secondary data from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources are collected through library research and field studies. Simantek kuta, as a kuta leader, was replaced by the system defined in Law Number 5 of 1979 and Law Number 6 of 2014 on Village Administration, aiming to establish legal certainty and standardize village governance. Simantek kuta holds a joint leadership role with the village head in managing and utilizing customary land of the Karo people. In resolving land disputes, simantek kuta acts as a leader, employing traditional Karo customary law methods such as purpur sage and runggu. Differentiating between government leadership led by the village head and adat leadership led by simantek kuta, the Karo people have established regulations within the Kuta leadership system. It is recommended to establish a Regional Regulation in Karo Regency to protect and recognize the existence of customary land, preventing conflicts and disputes. Preserving the dispute resolution system through peaceful means and family-oriented decisions based on Karo customary law, such as purpur sage and runggu, is crucial. Mutual respect for dispute resolution decisions should be fostered within the community.

This qualitative study examines the responsibility of adoptive parents towards adopted children during divorce, the legal protection for adopted children in such situations, and analyzes Decision Number 1294/Pdt.G/2015/PA Mks. Adoptive parents, according to Islamic Law, should not sever the lineage/blood relationship with the biological parents, as adoption represents a humanitarian mission grounded in faith. Government Regulation Number 54 of 2007 sets conditions for child adoption, requiring prospective adoptive parents to possess economic and social capabilities to ensure proper care and education. In civil law, divorced adoptive parents remain responsible for the child's well-being until adulthood. Adopted children are protected in their rights, even in the event of divorce. The court's decision in Case Number 1294/Pdt.G/2015/PA Mks, granting custody to the mother, aligns with Islamic Law (Article 105). Divorce should be a last resort, with alternative solutions sought to protect children. Strengthening laws and regulations on child adoption is crucial to prevent broad interpretations. The government should provide counseling on the importance of registering adopted children's identities for their rights as Indonesian citizens. Judges should consider age-specific living arrangements for children, recognizing differing financial needs based on age

This normative juridical legal research study aims to describe the legal strength and consequences of sale and purchase agreements and power of attorney related to debt and credit agreements, as well as the legal certainty of their transfer based on a notarized agreement. Data sources include primary and secondary data. Results indicate that sale and purchase agreements and power of attorney made before a notary without lawful cause do not have legal force, and cannot be used as a basis for bonds guarantee of debt and receivables. Transfer of rights based on sale and purchase agreements and power of attorney related to debt and credit agreements also do not have legal force, and can be considered null and void if there is evidence of bad faith. The Supreme Court decision No. 118 K/Pdt/2022 upheld the validity of the sale and purchase agreement and power of attorney in a case where the parties were not under coercion or deception when carrying out the agreement.

The purpose of this research is to describe the legal responsibility of a notary in a land and building sale and purchase agreement, to describe the legal protection of buyers who have good intentions in a land and building sale and purchase agreement, how to analyze the basic legal considerations of the panel of judges in Decision Number 179/PDT/2018/ PT BTN related to the sale and purchase agreement in full for land and buildings. The research was carried out using legal research, namely normative juridical which is descriptive-analytical, which is research that aims to describe a condition or symptom or to determine whether there is a relationship between a symptom and other symptoms. The data collection technique used was a literature study. The results of the research and discussion show that the notary's legal responsibility for the sale and purchase agreement deed he made is that if the notary in making an authentic deed is not thorough and careful, then the notary can be held accountable in the form of claims to compensate for losses in the form of reimbursement of costs and compensation, because of the notary's carelessness and inaccuracy in making the deed. Legal protection for a buyer with good intentions in a sale and purchase agreement in full for land and buildings depends on the contents of the binding sale and purchase agreement (PPJB) itself. The basic analysis of the legal considerations of the panel of judges in Decision Number 179/PDT/2018/PT BTN regarding the sale and purchase agreement in full for land and buildings is that the notary has conducted research and checked and in the signing process, both the seller and the buyer have no objections, until the deed minutation process - deed made by the defendant.

The results of the research and discussion show that the notary's legal responsibility for the sale and purchase agreement deed he made is that if the notary in making an authentic deed is not thorough and careful, then the notary can be held accountable in the form of claims to compensate for losses in the form of reimbursement of costs and compensation, because of the notary's carelessness and inaccuracy in making the deed. Legal protection for a buyer with good intentions in a sale and purchase agreement in full for land and buildings depends on the contents of the binding sale and purchase agreement (PPJB) itself. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign through social media among Communication Science students of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra, where effectiveness includes opinions, attitudes, and behaviors. The theories used in this research are effectiveness, campaign, social media, and students as Generation Z. This research method utilizes a quantitative approach. The population in this research is Communication Science students of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra with a student registration number of 2019, totaling 146 individuals. The sample is determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in 59 respondents. The data collection technique in this research is a questionnaire, and data analysis is conducted using SPSS version 16.0. The research results indicate that the Covid-19 vaccination campaign through social media among Communication Science students of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra is considered effective.

This article aims to describe improving the quality of the process of learning to write scientific papers using Project-based Learning and to describe improving the ability to write scientific papers using Project-based Learning. This classroom action research consists of action planning, action implementation, observation, analysis and reflection. This research was carried out in two cycles by paying attention to completeness according to predetermined criteria. The results of this study indicate an increase in the quality of the process for two cycles in terms of activeness, attention, and implementation. Aspects of student activity are reviewed when students conduct questions and answers to lecturers and other students, are involved in solving problems, carrying out projects, and carrying out group discussions according to instructions in the learning process. Student attention is reviewed when paying attention to the explanation delivered by the lecturer. Furthermore, student implementation is reviewed when understanding and following the instructions given, participating in completing the project, completing the project on time, utilizing all learning resources, and mastering the material presented by the lecturer. Student activity, student attention, and student achievement have increased. The increase in the ability to write students' scientific papers can be proven from the increase in grades in cycle I and cycle II. Thus, the application of Project-based Learning can improve the quality of the process and the ability to write scientific work of students.
