Identifying level and category shift in Legenda Pulau Senua bilingual storybook 识别传奇岛双语故事书的层次和类别转换

to the TL. Adding occurs because TL has grammatical category which SL lacks. Omitting occurs because the TL has a grammatical category which exists in the SL. Purpose: This study is conducted to analyze translation shifts in Bilingual book story. Design and methods: This study used qualitative research method in the form of content analysis. Data analysis techniques is the process of organizing and sorting data into the patterns, categories and units of the basic description so that it can be determined the theme and can be formulated working hypothesis as based on the data. Results: there were 15 data that indicated translation shift in this book, and the category shift were dominantly used. Any shift in the process of translation is normal, as long as it does not change the meaning or the message of the text.

Analysis of Social Values ​​in the Somat Family Cartoon Show Episode “Dudung Is Lost” Somat家庭动画片《嘟嘟丢了》中的社会价值观分析

Background:  Social value is a valuable thing that has to do with the interrelationships and relationships between individuals and other individuals. As social creatures, interaction activities are well adapted and interesting through conventional entertainment media, one of which is cartoon shows. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to find out the social values ​​contained in the "Dudung Is Lost" episode of the Somat Family Cartoon Design and methods: The research method used in this study is a qualitative research with a descriptive qualitative research type. The data analysis applied in this research is using the critical discourse model of Norman Fairclough.. Results: The results of the implementation of this research reveal that there are many social values ​​that can be taken in the Somat Family Cartoon Episode "Dudung Is Lost", including 1) the value of empathy, 2) helping each other, and 3) liking to give advice. These three social values ​​are deliberately included in the Somat Family Cartoon show to provide educational value. Especially when it was disseminated in Indonesia where the majority of the targeted audience were children.

Background:  Interest in reading can be interpreted as a desire to encourage someone to read books available in the library. Purpose: The aims of this research is to find out which types of books are most liked and interested by students. Design and methods: The research was conducted using a descriptive analytical case study, the method used was a mixed method. by using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data obtained are using documents, observations and interviews. This research was conducted on 55 students in grade 1.A and grade 3A at Aligarh Islamic Elementary School. Results: The result of this study reveals there are 79 books that students like and are interested in. The books that students like the most are books with pictures.

Effect of the Use of Graphic Media on the Learning Outcomes of Indonesian Language Subjects Instructional Text Material of Class IV Students MI Almunazomah Caringin District, Bogor Regency 图形媒体使用对四年级学生印尼语科目教学文本材料学习效果的影响[j],茂物县

Background:  The use of media in the learning process can facilitate the process of communication or delivery of messages from teachers to students. Students can clearly understand the instruction meaning or message that the teacher conveys. Purpose: This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students using graphic media and the effect of using graphic media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects for class IV instructional texts at MI Almunazomah, Caringin District, Bogor Regency. Design and methods: This research is an experimental research. The subjects of this study were all fourth-grade students, totalling 20 people. The test instrument used to determine student learning outcomes is a multiple choice test in the form of pre-test and post-test. Results: The results of this study indicate that the experimental group taught using graphic media obtained an average pre-test average value post-test of 77 with a standard deviation of 16.36. Changes in learning outcomes are 42 by using graphic media. While the mean value of the pre-test in the control group was 37 with a standard deviation of 13.37 and the average value of the post-test was 52 with a standard deviation of 14.76. Changes in learning outcomes are 15 without using graphic media. Based on the hypothesis testing criteria at = 0.05, t observe = 3.59 and t table = 2.10 so that t observe > t table or 3.59 > 2.19 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of graphic media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in the Indonesian subject of instructional text material at MI Almunazomah, Caringin District, Bogor Regency.

Background:  Novel is a literary work in the form of prose that discusses a work of imagination about the problems of a person's life or various other characters. One of the novel literary works that is interesting to analyze and study its educational value is the novel9 Summers 10 Autumns Iwan Setyawan's work which tells an interesting and inspiring story that can be a meaningful life lesson, where the value of education is so important that it is applied in everyday life. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to be used as teaching material for teachers in increasing reading interest, literary appreciation, and analyzing literary works and knowing the value of education in them. Design and methods: The research method used is content analysis (Content Analysis) with a qualitative descriptive approach, by describing the data in the form of words. The data collection technique uses a documentation study of the study of novel texts9 summers 10 autumns by Iwan Setiawan. Results: Research results from the novel9 summers 10 autumns have educational values ​​such as the value of truth, the value of goodness, the value of beauty, and the value of changing attitudes or procedures that can be taken for elementary school children and become teaching materials for teachers.

Cognition-Sociocultural in Tempo Newspaper Article entitled “Evaluasi Pemilu Serentak Mendesak”

Background:  There was a different technique when the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) framework came into effect, from elements, Fairclough analysis frameworks that explained the historical side of text production to the impact on society and the framework of CDA van Dijk that characterized the cognition of the producer of the text (journalist). Purpose: This study tries to find elements of cognition and sociocultural from the article Evaluation of Evaluasi Pemilu Serentak Mendesak from Tempo newspaper with the framework model of CDA Fairclough and van Dijk model. Design and methods: This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods using library methods. Content analysis techniques. Results: The authors found several techniques in dissecting the text; 1. CDA Fairclough model focuses more on changes in social patterns, 2.  Social cognition only reads events and conveys them to the reader so that the responsibility is centered on journalists.

Analysis of pantun writing skills of class v students of SDN Sirnagalih 2 SDN五班学生盘文写作技巧分析

Background:  Skills are the focus of experts, one of the skills that must be achieved is the skill of writing rhymes. Purpose: this study aims to determine the extent to which students are able to make poetry works that are carried out at SDN SIRNAGALIH 2, Bogor Regency. Design and methods: The type of research method used in this research is Descriptive Qualitative Method. Results: The results of the analysis of several rhymes written by class V students have fulfilled the theoretical rhyme requirements (Masruchin, 2017). However, a rhyme that rhymes a-a-a-a is found, but the results of this paper can still be said to be a rhyme because it is in accordance with the theory (Attas, 2022) and (Pasaribu, 2021). The students' rhymes written in one line have 6-14 syllables but are still said to be rhymes because they are in accordance with the theory (Riandi, 2020) and (Mutohharoh et al., 2018). It can be concluded that not all rhymes written by students of class V at SDN SIRNAGALIH 2 meet the theoretical rhyme requirements (Masruchin, 2017).

{"title":"Analysis of pantun writing skills of class v students of SDN Sirnagalih 2","authors":"Yolanda Marsha Santoso","doi":"10.56724/ladu.v3i1.183","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.56724/ladu.v3i1.183","url":null,"abstract":"Background:  Skills are the focus of experts, one of the skills that must be achieved is the skill of writing rhymes. \u0000Purpose: this study aims to determine the extent to which students are able to make poetry works that are carried out at SDN SIRNAGALIH 2, Bogor Regency. \u0000Design and methods: The type of research method used in this research is Descriptive Qualitative Method. \u0000Results: The results of the analysis of several rhymes written by class V students have fulfilled the theoretical rhyme requirements (Masruchin, 2017). However, a rhyme that rhymes a-a-a-a is found, but the results of this paper can still be said to be a rhyme because it is in accordance with the theory (Attas, 2022) and (Pasaribu, 2021). The students' rhymes written in one line have 6-14 syllables but are still said to be rhymes because they are in accordance with the theory (Riandi, 2020) and (Mutohharoh et al., 2018). efficacy of metacognitive and paraphrasing strategy in teaching reading on 11th grade students’ comprehension at SMA Methodist 5 Medan 元认知和释义策略在小学阅读教学中对学生理解的影响

Background:  In search of a solution to the problem that students in Indonesia face in learning English as a foreign language, a strategy called Metacognitive and Paraphrasing strategy is considered to be helpful in helping students develop reading skills.Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of using the metacognitive and paraphrasing strategy on students’ reading comprehension.Design and methods: This study was conducted by using experimental research. The population of this research was the students of the eleventh grade of SMA Methodist 5 Medan. The sample was 80 students of two classes chosen by using cluster random sampling. They were divided into two groups, 40 students in the experimental group and 40 students in the control group. The experimental group was taught using metacognitive and paraphrasing strategy while the control group was taught using the conventional method. The instrument for collecting data was 20 items of multiple-choice tests. It was given in pre-test and pos-test. After collecting the data, then the researcher analyzed the data by using t-test formula.Results: The finding showed that the t-observe was 4.099 and t-table 1.990 at the level of significance ( α = 0.05  ) and the degree of freedom (df) 78. It means that observe is higher than t-table (4.099 > 1.990). Therefore, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It is proven that there was a significant effect of using metacognitive and paraphrasing strategy on students’ reading comprehension of narrative text.

Developing English learning material for grade 4 students 为四年级学生开发英语学习材料

Background:  A task of a teacher or an educator is to create a pleasant learning atmosphere or situation for students. This situation can be realized by doing fun learning by compiling fun teaching materials as well. Purpose: To overcome these problems, it is deemed necessary to renew the development of appropriate teaching materials. Design and methods:  This research method is Research and Development (R&D). This research was conducted at SDN Ciomas 3 Bogor. The developing teaching materials for the English language module uses the research and development method of 4D learning tools which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data analysis techniques in this study used quantitative data and qualitative data. Qualitative data were obtained based on input, suggestions, assessments carried out by two experts, namely material and media experts, English teachers, and students. Then the quantitative data is based on a closed-ended questionnaire that has been compiled to determine the quality of the developed product, namely the English Language Module teaching materials. Results: The results of the product trial design were supervisors, material experts and media experts and the subjects tried 3 teachers and 38 students. the results of this study are the English Language Module for class IV which contains 5 material and has obtained very good quality based on the validation value of the material experts scored 69 or 92% from maximum value of 75, validating media experts with a score of 70 or 93% from a maximum value of 75 assessment by 3 teachers with a total score of 445 or 98.8% from a maximum value of 450, and the actual field trial for students with a total score of 1854 or 97.57% from a maximum value of 1900 with the results explained, the English module teaching materials are very suitable to be used as a supporting book for learning English in Grade IV Elementary School.

Background:  Culturally, language is a one of the cultural elements of a society. Therefore, it is stated that language is a manifestation of the identity of the speaker community. By expressing or explaining something, researchers communicate using different points of view and ways. In the era of globalization, the view of life and modern human interaction has undergone rapid and dynamic changes so that local languages ​​are starting to be forgotten in their use because they are considered obsolete and tacky. The younger generation in urban and rural areas likes to use urban slang in their daily routine interactions.Purpose: This study aims to preserve the smooth Javanese language in daily life.Design and methods: Researchers used qualitative phenomenology method in this study to find social facts in the community. The data are gathered using documentary acquisition techniques by observation and in the form of a qualitative descriptive design. The researcher made a documentary film about efforts to maintain regional languages ​​in social life using shooting methods consisting of Development procedures, Pre-Production procedures, Production procedures, Post Production procedures, and Distribution procedures.Results: The results that the researchers produced Bahasaku documentary film containing efforts to maintain local languages ​​in social life and uploaded them on social media YouTube. This is because YouTube is a social media that is currently easily accessible and has many users.
