State of charge estimation at battery level from multiple cells management 从多个电池管理中估计电池水平的充电状态

Accurate State Of Charge estimations are one of the critical functionalities of Battery Management Systems, whether it is for single-cell batteries or multiple-cells batteries. However, battery-SOCs are usually generalized without any consideration about cell disparities. In this presentation, we propose to define a more relevant battery-SOC by analyzing the already existing studies about SOC estimation for single cell (cell-SOC) and by developing a battery-SOC which takes cell disparities into account. A focus is also done to explore how to link uncertainties of cells estimations and accuracy of the final battery-SOC in order to give reliable information to the user about the charge amount stored in the battery. The algorithm is then implemented for numeric analysis and comparisons.

FreDy - An electric vehicle with intelligent chassis-control systems FreDy——一款配备智能底盘控制系统的电动汽车

The present paper focuses on the model-based development of an electric vehicle, FreDy, equipped with direct drives of the rear axle that are positioned close to the wheels. FreDy combines electric traction with an intelligent chassis consisting of four independent active wheel modules and is a fully active electrical vehicle. Using a hierarchically structured vehicle management the research vehicle FreDy enables motoring that is optimized with regard as well to energy consumption as to driving dynamics and driving safety. Conception and realization of the vehicle are performed by means of a structured procedure in a model-based, hierarchical mechatronic approach and will be detailed in the following.

Hybridization factor and performances of hybrid electric telescopic heavy vehicles 混合动力电动伸缩重型车辆的混合系数与性能

In the present paper is studied the effect of electric hybridization on dynamic performances of a telescopic vehicle. A new hybridization factor for working vehicle is introduced taking into account both drive and loading requirements. The numerical MATLAB model is used to simulate the performance level of the vehicle in different conditions. The research is inserted in the frame of a cooperation project between Politecnico di Torino and the main producer of telehandler in Italy, Merlo. Simulations and tests have been performed in different condition in order to realize a typical cycle for a telehandler. The comparison of experimental and simulated results shows a very good agreement in different operation conditions. The performance level of the hybrid vehicle satisfies the requirement and reaches the same performance level of a conventional telescopic machine but with a remarkable reduction of fuel consumption.

Modeling of six-phase Double Fed Induction Machine for autonomous DC voltage generation 自动产生直流电压的六相双馈感应电机建模

More and more applications requires DC voltage for operation. With growing demand comes a need for high power DC generators. One of the most popular machines used for AC power generation are Double-Fed Induction Machines (DFIG), due to fractional power rotor side converter. But such machine is not fit for DC voltage generation. Nonlinear load produces torque pulsation causing mechanical stresses and acoustic noise. One of the methods of reduction of this drawback is increasing stator phase number. The paper presents the model of Multi-Phase DFIG with stator connected rectifier and control algorithm. Simulation results of such system are presented.

Performance investigation of a novel multi-tooth switched-flux linear motor 新型多齿开关磁通直线电机的性能研究

A multi-tooth switched-flux linear motor (MTSFLM), with a novel armature structure, is proposed. In its armature the height of permanent magnets (PMs) is not the same as that of iron cores, which is different with conventional switched-flux motor (SFM). Firstly, a MTSFLM with the same tooth-slot parameters as the corresponding rotatory motor is showed, pointing out that its coil areas is much smaller than that of the rotatory form. The MTSFLM with 2.5 times high armature is discussed then to enlarger slot areas. Secondly, it is pointed out that MTSFLM with higher armature may lead to serious saturation if the height of iron core and the height of PMs are still kept the same as conventional design. A MTSFLM with shorter PMs, than the height of corresponding iron cores, in armature is proposed. And the height optimization of the PMs is then investigated to produce optimum output characteristics. Thirdly, the unique impacts of yoke height and gap distance on optimum PMs height value are discussed. Finally, a prototype with optimized structure parameters is presented. The measured back-EMF, detent force data are compared with those from FEM, and the result curves validated aforesaid analyses.

Prediction of the air gap flux density distribution of a T-LSM with quasi-Halbach magnetized PMs: Application to the cogging force minimization 准halbach磁化pm的T-LSM气隙磁通密度分布预测:在齿槽力最小化中的应用

The paper is aimed at a dual sizing-based approach to minimize the cogging force of a tubular linear synchronous machine (T-LSM) with quasi-Halbach magnetized PMs in the mover. The study is initiated by the prediction of the spatial repartition of the no-load air gap flux density. Then, a formulation of the cogging force, based on the predicted spatial repartition of the no-load air gap flux density, is developed, considering (i) the case of an “infinite” length machine and (ii) the case of a finite length one. A case study, corresponding to an initial concept, is treated with a focus on the prediction of its spatial repartition of the no-load air gap flux density and its cogging force. With this done, the study is extended to a first cogging force reduction procedure considering the case of an “infinite” length machine. It consists in the investigation of the effects of two influent sizing parameters on the cogging force, that enables the identification of a pre-optimized concept. The cogging force of this latter is then predicted in the case of a finite length machine. The study is achieved by a second cogging force reduction procedure, consisting in a quasi-cancellation of the end effect. The prediction of the cogging force of the optimized T-LSM with quasi-Halbach magnetized PMs has clearly demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed dual sizing-based approach.

Comparison of parallel connected medium voltage grid side VSCs for offshore wind turbines 海上风力发电机并网中压电网侧VSCs的比较

The goal of this paper is to compare different solutions for the parallelization of grid side voltage source converters operating in medium voltage for application in multi-megawatt (MW) offshore wind turbines. The study takes into account different alternatives in terms of both topology and modulation: in particular it considers whether the DC busses are common or separated, the output filters are isolated or coupled, and, in the latter case, the impact of the coupling coefficient value. The use of interleaving modulation technique is also analyzed. Systematic comparative analyses are reported with the goal of orienting trade off design choices for offshore converters.

Analysis of a grid-connected wind energy conversion system based on complex simulation program 基于复杂仿真程序的并网风能转换系统分析

The present paper details a complex simulation program designed in MATLAB/SIMULINK aiming at the analysis of a complete grid-connected wind energy conversion system. The model contains the wind turbine, a permanent-magnet synchronous generator, a back-to-back electronic power converter, and the grid, as load for the electric energy production unit. Also, the maximum-power-point-tracking strategy is considered in the control of the generator, in order to extract the highest power possible from the wind turbine. The results of the simulation emphasize the behaviour of the simulation program, flexible enough to be used at any power level and any wind or turbine speed.

The model contains the wind turbine, a permanent-magnet synchronous generator, a back-to-back electronic power converter, and the grid, as load for the electric energy production unit. Also, the maximum-power-point-tracking strategy is considered in the control of the generator, in order to extract the highest power possible from the wind turbine. Comparative analysis of rotor losses in high-speed permanent magnet machines with different winding configurations considering the influence of the inverter PWM 考虑逆变器PWM影响的不同绕组结构的高速永磁电机转子损耗对比分析

Due to development in fields of materials and power electronics, use of high-speed electrical machines has boosted significantly in recent decades. They are widely used in number of applications, such as electrically assisted turbochargers, flywheel energy storage systems, spindle applications, turbo molecular pumps, micro gas turbines. In applications where high efficiency and high power density are required, the most suitable machine type for high-speed operations is a permanent magnet (PM) machine. In this paper the performance of several different topologies of high-speed PM machines required for use in a micro-gas turbine application are evaluated. Different winding topologies, retaining sleeve materials and magnetization patterns are considered, where the main criterion for the machine performance are eddy current losses in the rotor. Influence of time harmonics in stator currents caused by the inverter Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is incorporated in the calculation.

Evaluation of stator end-winding leakage inductance of water filling induction motor equipped with two plane end-winding 双平面端绕组充水异步电动机定子端绕组漏感评估

This paper presented an improved analytical method for calculating the stator end-winding leakage inductance of water filling induction motor equipped with concentric twoplane end-winding. The improved analytical method was derived based on the stored magnetic energy. The physical model of the end region was established for calculating the end winding leakage inductance. In the improved analytical method, the active axial permeance factor was introduced for considering the leakage distributed in the active end region. Then three dimensional (3-D) time harmonic finite element analysis (FEA) was performed on a model with all end structures. The magnetic field distribution in the end region was explored and the distribution of the end-winding leakage inductances of the inner plane end windings and outer plane end windings was analyzed. The results of the analysis show that the end-winding leakage inductance decreases when the excitation frequency increases and the changes are nonlinear. Finally, the results obtained by the improved analytical method are compared with the results obtained by the 3-D time harmonic FEA.
