The activity aims to provide Technical Guidance on Broiler Chicken Maintenance Management for Breeders in Puosu Jaya Village, Konda District. The problem experienced was the low knowledge of the farming community about how to manage chickens so that they can increase their productivity. Community service activities are carried out by implementing a chicken intensification technology package so that it was more profitable and develops in the community, especially the breeder community. The method of activity was carried out in preliminary activities, counseling and demonstrations as well as evaluation design. It can be concluded that the community really needs guidance in developing the potential of broiler farms that they have been working on, which has an impact on increasing income and developing chicken population.

Abstract. Jaya Tani is a farmer group in Suka Sipilihen Village, Karo Regency. The members of Jaya Tani group partly farm the fields and raise livestock. The livestock has several problems, namely environmental waste pollution in the form of livestock manure. Based on the situation analysis through the preliminary survey, Jaya Tani group has difficulty in managing cow manure waste, causing environmental pollution and decreasing the health of livestock. Farmers also need to understand the importance of environmental protection in livestock waste management. This community service activity aimed to introduce liquid organic fertilizer production and its application for organic vegetables which can increase the knowledge and skills of farmers by utilizing livestock waste. This community service activity provided socialization and education to farmers on the importance of environmental protection based on Law Number 32 of 2009. This community service conducted interviews, approaches, and empowerment on the introduction and application of technology. This community service activity provided practical training, counseling, and mentoring to group members. Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia have a very large and important contribution to the country's economy. MSMEs currently running in the community consist of many fields, one of which is the use of Indonesian agricultural products. Coconut oil can be used as cooking oil, margarine and white butter, a component in soap making and cosmetic formulations. MSMEs making coconut oil have quite a large business opportunity, one of which is the Maida Coconut Cooking Oil Business which is located in Galang District, Deli Serdang Regency. The amount of coconut oil produced is still on a small scale. This is due to very simple equipment, high selling prices, and limited range of marketing strategies. This activity aims to help Maida MSMEs to increase production by providing assistance in the form of equipment and determining the proper cost of goods sold. The results showed that the cost of goods sold obtained before adding tools based on the full costing method was IDR 41,746/L and variable costing was IDR 39,236/L. Meanwhile, after adding equipment based on the full costing method it is IDR 104,211/L and variable costing is IDR 89,757/L.

The spread of the Corona virus or better known as Covid-19 cannot be estimated when it will end. This condition is very concerning, including Indonesia, which has the highest death toll in Southeast Asia. This virus has also spread in North Sumatra including Deli Serdang Regency. One of the biggest challenges in mitigating Covid-19 is building public awareness about the importance of following the Covid-19 protocol in carrying out daily activities. Unfortunately, this condition is exacerbated by the low level of public awareness by ignoring health protocols during the pandemic period. It is hoped that the role of universities in educating the public can help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and increase community participation in mitigating efforts to prevent its spread. One of them is through community service activities by utilizing traditional ingredients for health drinks which are held at the Villa Mutiara Johor II Complex and its surroundings, Kec. Namorame, Deli Serdang Regency.
