AbstractThe problem that occurs in the field is that students' ability to analyze the elements of poetry is still low because students are not aware of the influence of figures of speech in poetry. In addition, the selection of teaching materials for the appreciation of literature is largely determined by the teacher's ability to analyze literary works. The general aim of this study is to find out the elements of the figurative language contained in Chairil Anwar's poem Senja di Pelabuhan Kecil as a means of enriching the intellectual insights of readers which can later be expressed in the form of appreciation of literary works and the creation of literary works. This research is qualitative, namely using descriptive-analytic research methods. The results of the study show that the use of a figure of speech has an important role because poetry is the embodiment of the poet's soul contained in the language medium. Even the figure of speech itself is often seen as a characteristic of a type of literature called poetry, although not all poetry features a figure of speech, in most of the poems, including the poem Senja di Pelabuhan Kecil, the use of a figure of speech is considered to be very supportive of poetic means and arrangement of meaning. The implications of this study refer to the possibility that the results of this study can be applied in the field. The study of the figurative language elements of Senja di Pelabuhan Kecil by Chairil Anwar can be used as teaching material for Literary Appreciation based on its relation to the criteria of teaching materials. AbstrakIndonesia menempati urutan ke-74 dari 79 peserta pada tes PISA yang didalamnya memuat tes literasi. Hal ini berbanding terbalik dengan kenyataan bahwa Indonesia kaya akan keberagaman termasuk keberagaman bahasa sebagai dasar literasi. Keberagaman bahasa yang memuat folklor di dalamnya nyatanya mulai tergerus zaman. Pergeseran budaya menjadikan anak-anak tidak lagi mendengar ataupun mengetahui legenda (folklor) dari masing-masing wilayahnya. Hal ini menjadi pemantik peneliti untuk mengangkat Kembali folklor untuk lebih dalam dideskripsikan struktur dan fungsinya dalam sastra lisan. Peneliti mengambil legenda Joko Satriyan dari desa Sadang, Kec. Jekulo, Kab. Kudus dengan harapan terdapat manuskrip legenda tersebut untuk dapat ditelisik, dibaca, terjaga, dan tersimpan warisan budaya Jawa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan metode etnografi. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan Teknik observasi, wawancara, perekaman, transkrip, terjemahan, dan disertai dengan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian analisis struktur naratif menggunakan teori ala Maranda terdapat 8 terem dan fungsi legenda dari teori ala William R Bascon adalah empat fungsi yang tersirat dalam pembentukan cerita. Dari hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa cerita Joko Satriyan masuk ke dalam unsur legenda yang memiliki terem dan fungsi sebagai folklor yang harus dilestarikan keberadaannya, salah satunya melalui penyimpanan manuskrip dalam riset ini.Kata kunci: struktur, fungsi, folklor AbstractIndonesia ranks 74th out of 79 participants in the PISA test which includes a literacy test. This study aims to develop participants' knowledge, attitudes, and skills about Indonesian dance as an art form. Kemmis and Taggart's concept of action research is included into the study procedure. Data collection procedures use a questionnaire. The study sample consists of sixth-grade students. The information, attitudes, and skills of appreciation for Indonesian dance should be taught to primary school students as part of efforts to disseminate the culture of the archipelago, especially the art of dance. This is significant since it is one of the attempts to summarize the archipelago's culture. Curriculum for learning and enjoying Indonesian dance is comprised of two distinct iterations. Each cycle consists of four sessions in total. In the period leading up to the commencement of the first action cycle, a preliminary evaluation was conducted. Compared to the results of the pretest, the post-test results obtained after the completion of the first cycle revealed an improvement. The results of the post-test at the end of the second cycle shown an improvement over the results of the post-test at the end of the first cycle, and they even reached the stipulated objective. The outcomes of the study project allow us to make the following conclusion: the blended learning approach is a good instrument for cultivating a stronger appreciation of Indonesian dance. It has been suggested that art and culture teachers in elementary schools use a kind of instruction called as integrated learning.

Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil penilaian rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), hasil lembaran pengamatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STM dari aspek guru, siswa dan evaluasi. Sumber data adalah proses penerapan pendekatan STM dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV. Subjek peneliti adalah guru, peneliti dan siswa kelas IV berjumlah 28 orang. Hasil penelitian adalah pembelajaran IPA dengan pendekatan STM akan menimbulkan sikap kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan, memotivasi siswa untuk belajar. Hal ini dibuktikan meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa yaitu siklus I ketuntasan siswa 61% dengan nilai rata-rata 74 dan siklus II ketuntasan siswa 89% dengan nilai rata-rata 84. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disarankan kepada pihak berikut, (1) bagi guru hendaknya menggunakan pendekatan STM dalam pembelajaran IPA karena dapat menimbulkan sikap peduli siswa terhadap lingkungan dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, (2) bagi pembaca hendaknya dapat menambah pengetahuan kepada pembaca.

Leadership is a way of doing something to achieve certain goals, as well as the leadership of the principal which is carried out in order to achieve educational goals. In line with leadership that shapes work culture, ultimately leadership and work culture are believed to be able to shape the characteristics of optimal work discipline. The study was conducted to determine the effect of the madrasa principal's leadership style and work culture on teacher’s work discipline. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was performed through simple and multiple linear regression. The results obtained from this study stated that 1) there was a significant influence of the madrasa principal's leadership style on the work discipline of MTs teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District; 2) there is a significant influence of work culture on the work discipline of MTs teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District; 3) there is a significant influence on the leadership style of the madrasa principal and work culture together on the work discipline of MTs teachers in Pangkalan Lampam District.

The learning process of all students around the world has undergone drastic changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. School R handles it like most other schools, by distance learning through online learning. This change may cause [H1] students to feel unmotivated in studying compared to face-to-face learning. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of motivation of grade VI students in school R in Mathematics. The research method uses the Motivation Questionnaire (MQ) questionnaire. MQ adopts indicators from the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). After the MSLQ was analyzed and edited, the MQ instrument was designed to suit the sixth-grade students of R school. The results of the study showed that more than 50% of students scored lower than the average score in the value and expectancy components (57.14% and 51.02% respectively), and more than 50% of students scored higher than the average score in the affective component (55.10%). Test-retest was conducted to analyze the reliability by analyzing the Pearson Correlation Coefficient and the result was 0.771. This indicates that the correlation between test-retest results is strong. The results of the Cronbach alpha analysis for the MQ of each sample from the test-retest were 0.888 and 0.911, indicating strong internal consistency. The validity of the questionnaire study [H2] uses peer review and expert judgment. In conclusion, the level of motivation of the research subjects tends to be low. One suggestion to overcome this problem is a greater involvement of the role of educators. Educators must strive to be creative in teaching, increase interaction with students and respond quickly. In addition to educators, parents and educational organizations can also provide more support to increase students’ motivation in learning.
