This paper describes the asynchronous performance analysis of permanent magnet synchronous motors including the magnetic saturation and the space harmonics. In this paper, a macroprogrammable PC-data acquisition board-PM motor system by which users can produce the measurement data acquisition software in an interactive way is presented.

Voltage compensation of permanent-magnet generator with capacitors 电容式永磁发电机的电压补偿

This paper presents a demonstration of the permanent-magnet generator (PM generator) with capacitors. In order to improve the voltage regulation, connection of capacitors to the generator is used. The generator consists of a permanent-magnet generator and capacitors. The output characteristics are calculated using an equivalent circuit of the PM synchronous generator.

Analysis and optimal design of the slit type low speed linear induction motor 狭缝式低速直线感应电动机的分析与优化设计

This paper describes the analysis and optimal design of the slit type linear induction motor (LIM) with transformed secondary reaction plate. In an analysis method, we select a unit region corresponding to a single secondary slit pitch and the presence of the rest of the secondary distribution is implied by specifying the pitch boundary condition. From the analysis method, we construct the equivalent circuit and analyze the characteristics of the LIM. Using the sequential quadrature programming (SQP), the optimum design variables are derived. The analysis result by the proposed method is compared with the experimental result.

Development of automatic, continuous partial discharge monitoring systems to detect motor and generator partial discharges 开发自动、连续局部放电监测系统,检测电机和发电机局部放电

Partial discharge testing is widely used to monitor the condition of the electrical insulation in high voltage motor and generator stator windings. In the past, virtually all online partial discharge testing has been performed on a periodic basis, for example every six months. Two different monitoring systems have been developed which enable the continuous measurement and storage of partial discharge data. The first system is a full-featured system which captures all the partial discharge information, including a pulse magnitude and pulse phase analysis. This system duplicates all the features of a portable instrument, and is intended for use on high voltage machines which see many load changes, are equipped with online expert systems, or are in remote locations. The second system which has been developed is intended for medium voltage motors (2.3 to 4.1 kV). For some failure processes on such motors, partial discharges may only yield a few weeks or months of warning of failure. Thus, continuous partial discharge measurement is essential to give the maximum possible warning time. This system has only basic capabilities for data collection, in order to minimize cost. Both systems employ advanced electrical interference separation methods to minimize the risk of false indications and the need for expert intervention.

The adaptive control of three-degrees-of-freedom spherical motor 三自由度球面电机的自适应控制

This paper presents the electromagnetic model and the mechanical model of three-degrees-of-freedom spherical motor (3DOFSM). The vector control and disturbance torque observer can realize the electromagnetic decoupling and mechanical decoupling control of the 3DOFSM. The adaptive scheme is proposed to improve the robustness and the dynamic performance. The correctness of the control scheme are confirmed by simulation results.

Dynamic braking of a voltage supplied induction motor using finite element analysis 电压感应电动机动态制动的有限元分析

This paper presents the simulation of the dynamic braking of a voltage supplied induction motor. The phenomenon occurs when the AC voltage energizing the stator windings is replaced by a DC voltage (applied across two of the three stator leads) producing a braking torque. The resulting electrical and mechanical transients are simulated using Flux2D.

This paper examines the feasibility of using artificial neural networks (ANNs) and genetic algorithms (GAs) to develop discrete time dynamic models for fault free and faulted switched reluctance motor (SRM) drive systems. The results of using the ANN GA based (neurogenetic) model to predict the performance characteristics of prototype SRM drive motor under normal and abnormal operating conditions, are presented and verified by comparison to test data.

Mathematical modeling and analysis of synchronous starting of synchronous machines in three-machine arrangements 三机布置同步电机同步起动的数学建模与分析

The paper presents an efficient approach to the analysis of the synchronous starting of synchronous machines in three-machine arrangements. The analysis is done using the software MATHEMATICA. The software has proved to provide a very simple solution for a large number of problems referring to the mathematical modeling of complex systems. The proposed approach efficiency is confirmed on an adequate test example.

This paper deals with an important issue in adjustable speed AC synchronous motor drive system design, selection of the system voltage rating. Using an integrated system point of view, voltage rating required to achieve a specified system dynamic performance under given motor design parameters is derived. Based on the analysis, a practical method to select the voltage is proposed. Simulation and experimental results show excellent agreement with prediction by the proposed method.

Application of a new optimization approach to the design of electrical wheels 一种新的优化方法在电动车轮设计中的应用

The goal of this paper is the optimization of the design of electrical wheels. For this, a new approach that automatically generates the optimization software is used. It allows the design to be made with an elaborated analytical model of the structure chosen for the wheel. Thus it is possible to obtain a very efficient optimization program. This approach is illustrated using the example of an electrical wheel for a bicycle.
