Banana Waste (Musa acuminata Cavendish Subgroup) as A Sources Eco-Feed for Ruminants in Lampung Province: Potential and Nutrient Content 香蕉废弃物(Musa acuminata Cavendish亚群)作为楠榜省反刍动物的生态饲料来源:潜力和营养成分

This research was conducted to determine the potential of banana waste (Musa acuminata Cavendish Subgroup), nutritional content, and phytochemical compounds. This study used descriptive analysis using interviews and field observations, as well as proximate analysis of the nutrient content i.e. whole banana, banana peel, and banana stem waste, and also phytochemical screening of banana peels and banana stems. Based on dry matter, whole banana waste contains 10.23% Ash, 1.80% Fat, 3.82% Crude Protein (CP), 8.81 Crude Fiber (CF), and 75.34% Nitrogen-Free Extract (NFE). Banana peel waste contains 6.33% Ash, 4.12% Fat, 4.67% CP, 18.46 CF, and 66.42% (NFE). Banana stem waste contains 25.84% Ash, 1.74% Fat, 11.64% CP, 41.88 CF, and 18.90% (NFE). Banana banana stems and peels contains flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and terpenoids but they does not contain alkaloids. Whole banana waste, or banana peel and banana stem waste, from the Cavendish banana species (Musa acuminata Cavendish Subgroup) has the potential to be used as animal feed ingredients, especially for ruminants. However, further research is needed for livestock or the processing of banana waste to be optimally utilized.

Evaluation Of The Supplementation Of Bitter Melon Flour (Momordica charantia) As A Feed Additive To Physical And Chemical Content Of Broiler Meat 添加苦瓜粉作为饲料添加剂对肉鸡肉理化含量的影响

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the supplementation of bitter melon flour as a feed additive on the physical (tenderness and WHC) and chemical (protein and fat content) quality of broiler meat. The material used in this study was a broiler Lohman strain produced by PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk., unsex, and rearing for 35 days. This research method used a field experiment with 6 treatments with 5 replications. Each experimental unit was given basal feed treatment with the addition of antibiotics (Zinc Bacitracin 0.01%) (P0), 0% bitter melon flour (P1), 0.25% bitter melon flour (P2), 0.5% bitter melon flour (P3), 0.75% bitter melon flour (P4), and 1% bitter melon flour (P5). Data were analyzed with Analysis of Variance and continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test if there were significant differences. The results showed that the addition of bitter melon flour as a feed additive didn't show a significant difference (P>0.05) in tenderness, Water Holding Capacity, protein content, and fat content of broiler meat. The conclusion of this study was that the addition of bitter melon flour as a feed additive showed relatively similar abilities to produce the physical and chemical quality of meat with antibiotics used as a feed additive for broilers.

ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA AYAM BROILER DENGAN SISTEM KEMITRAAN PADA PETERNAKAN NURHADI DI DESA MON KEULAYU KECAMATAN GANDAPURA KABUPATEN BIREUEN

Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di usaha peternakan ayam broiler milik Bapak Nurhadi di Desa Mon Keulayu Kecamatan Gandapura Kabupaten Bireuen Provinsi Aceh, selama 1 tahun dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Desember 2021 (enam periode pemeliharaan). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari tingkat pendapatan usaha ayam broiler dengan pola kemitraan dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan usaha ayam broiler dengan pola kemitraan  pada peternakan Nurhadi Desa Mon Keulayu Kecamatan Gandapura Kabupaten Bireuen. Komponen yang dipakai dalam evaluasi kelayakan usaha meliputi biaya produksi, penerimaan usaha dan pendapatan yang diperoleh dari usaha peternakan ayam broiler. Parameter yang diukur adalah dengan menggunakan indikator cost-benefit analysis yang meliputi: R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, BEP dan Return On Investment (ROI).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa analisis kelayakan usaha ternak ayam broiler dengan skala usaha 36.000 ekor/tahun (6 Periode) menguntungkan sebagai usaha yang berorientasi agribisnis dimana keuntungan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp. 93.481.176 selama 6 periode (1 tahun), dan layak untuk dikembangkan dengan nilai R/C ratio > 1 dengan nilai 1,06  dan B/C ratio > 0 dengan nilai 0,06. Analisis BEP menunjukkan bahwa jumlah produksi lebih tinggi dari nilai BEP produksi (Produksi>BEP Produksi) yaitu sebanyak 72.938 kg/tahun dan BEP harga terlihat harga yang ditawarkan masih lebih rendah dari yang ditetapkan yaitu sebesar Rp. 19.752.-/kg sehingga telah memenuhi standar empiris dalam hitungan analisis titik impas. Sedangkan untuk Analisa Return On Investment (ROI) masih berada di angka 6,11 %, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha peternakan ayam broiler Milik Bapak Nurhadi di Desa Mon Keulayu Kecamatan Gandapura Kabupaten Bireuen layak untuk dilanjutkan atau dikembangkan.

RESPON PEMBERIAN ASAM GIBERELAT (GA3) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN RUMPUT GAJAH (Pennisetum purpureum) 吉贝拉特酸(GA3)对象草生长的反应(Pennisetum purpureum)

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat respon pertumbuhan rumput gajah yang diberikan asam giberelat (GA3) dengan dosis yang berbeda.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Cot Kruet Kecamatan Makmur Kabupaten Bireuen.Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan bulan November 2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen Rancangan penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang digunakan ada empat yaitu level dosis yaitu dosis asam giberelat: tanpa asam giberelat/kontrol 0 ppm/l (A), dosis asam giberelat 250 ppm/l (B), dosis asam giberelat 500 ppm/l (C), dosis asam giberelat 750 ppm/l (D). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang empat kali, sehingga terdapat 16 unit perlakuan. Parameter penelitian adalah tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter tanaman (cm), jumlah ruas batang, dan panjang akar .Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan bila terjadi pengaruh dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap respon pertumbuhan tanaman rumput gajah. Perlakuan terbaik pada penambahan asam giberelat (GA3) dengan dosis 500 ppm/l yaitu tinggi tanaman 136.20 cm; diameter batang 1.54 cm; jumlah ruas batang 6.28 cm; dan panjang akar 54.92 cm. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pemberian asam giberelin (GA3) berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter yang diuji. Dan dosis terbaik dalah 500 ppm/l

PENGASINAN TELUR AYAM RAS MENGGUNAKAN EKSTRAK JAHE MERAH (Zingiber Officinale Var.rubrum) TERHADAP UJI ORGANOLEPTIK

Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium MIPA Universitas Almuslim selama 30 hari dimulai dari bulan Februari – Maret 2021, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengasinan telur ayam ras dengan menggunakan ekstrak jahe merah (Zingiber Officinale Var.rubrum) terhadap uji organoleptik untuk menghasilkan telur asin yang disukai oleh konsumen dengan konsentrasi ekstrak jahe merah yang berbeda. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah uji organoleptik terhadap warna, aroma, rasa dan tekstur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak jahe merah yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0.05) terhadap uji organoleptik telur asin, pada P1 dan P3 memiliki skor sama yaitu 2,92 terhadap aroma P2 dan P3 juga memiliki nilai yang sama 3,03 terhadap rasa karena semakin tinggi penggunaan ekstrak jahe merah maka semakin meningkat tingkat kesukaan panelis, sedangkan tingkat kesukaan terhadap warna dan tekstur panelis lebih banyak menyukai P0 dengan skor 2,85 dan P1 dengan skor 3,28. Penelitian tersebut menghasilkan telur asin yang bertekstur masir pada kuning telur dan tidak terlalu asin pada bagian putih telurnya.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai infeksi Sarcoptes scabiei pada kelinci dan memperoleh data prevalensi Sarcoptes scabiei pada kelinci di peternakan Romy Rabbit Breeder Desa Cot Buket Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2021 di Peternakan Romy Rabbit Breeder di Desa Cot Buket, Kecamatan Peusangan, Kabupaten Bireuen dan di Laboratorium Kesehatan Hewan SMK-PP Negeri Bireuen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purpose sampling atau yang sudah ditentukan sebelumnya berdasarkan pengamatan terhadap kelinci yang memiliki gejala klinis. Data yang diperoleh akan ditabulasi dan dianalisis dengan uji prevalensi dan dibahas secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan angka prevalensi Sarcoptes scabiei pada kelinci di peternakan Romy Rabbit Breeder Desa Cot Buket Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen adalah sebesar 30 %. Tingkat keparahan Sarcoptes scabiei pada kelinci di peternakan Romy Rabbit Breeder Desa Cot Buket Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen terbagi atas 3 yaitu tingkat keparahan ringan, sedang, dan berat. Tingkat keparahan ringan terlihat gejala klinis berupa alopecia dan krusta pada regio wajah, tingkat keparahan sedang terlihat gejala klinis berupa alopecia dan krusta pada regio kaki, sedangkan tingkat keparahan berat terlihat gejala klinis berupa alopecia dan krusta pada regio badan. Di harapkan peternak dapat berkoordinasi dengan instansi terkait guna memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam penanganan, pengendalian, pencegahan, serta pengobatan Sarcoptes scabiei

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha ternak kambing kacang pada UD. Dua Sepakat di Desa Pante Gajah Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen pada bulan November sampai dengan bulan Desember 2021. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada usaha ternak kambing kacang milik Bapak Safwandi Ibrahim di Desa Pante Gajah Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen bahwa keuntungan yang diperoleh adalah Rp.241.868.028/tahun dengan Total Biaya yang dikeluarkan adalah Rp. 638.131.972/tahun. Berdasarkan perhitungan prospek pengembangan (B/C Rasio), yaitu memiliki angka perbandingan 0,38> 0, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha ternak kambing kacang milik Bapak Safwandi Ibrahim di Desa Pante Gajah Kecamatan Peusangan Kabupaten Bireuen layak untuk dikembangkan.

The Effectiveness of Azolla microphylla Flour Supplementation in Rations on Body Weight, Total Blood Plasma Protein and Total Microbial Contamination of Broiler Carcasses 饲粮中添加小叶杜鹃粉对肉鸡胴体体重、总血浆蛋白和总微生物污染的影响

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Azolla microphylla  flour supplementation in broiler feed rations on body weight, total blood plasma protein and total broiler carcass microbial contamination. The study was conducted for 6 months (May-October 2022) in the broiler cage unit at the Integrated Field Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. This experimental study used four treatments and five replications. Each replicate consisted of five Cobb CP 707broiler strains, bringing a total of 100 broilers. Giving Azolla microphylla flour as a supplement is added to the feed ration with different doses according to broiler body weight, namely P0: ration without Azolla microphylla flour supplementation (control); P1: ration supplemented with 2.5% Azolla microphylla flour; P2 5%; P3 7.5%. Sampling of carcasses and blood serum of 29-day-old broilers was 1 broiler per replication with a total of 20 samples. Samples were sent to the Lampung Veterinary Center to be analyzed for total meat microbial contamination (total plate count) and total plasma protein in blood serum. Data from the test results are arranged in a simple tabular form to be analyzed descriptively. The conclusion of this study wassupplementation with 5% Azolla microphyllaflour in rations were effective to increase body weight gain, maintain total blood plasma protein within the normal range, and maintain total broiler carcass microbial contamination within safe limits for consumption.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Indigenous Microorganisms( IMO) based on soybean cooking water, rice washing water, tofu dregs water, rumen contents liquid, and coconut water as a commercial starter to replace EM4 in the manufacture of fermentation based on the value of lactic acid content, the value of pH, dry matter content, and Fleigh value. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Tidar University. The research method used a completely randomized design with four treatments (P0 = Cassava peel + EM4 (1%) + molasses (3%), (P1 = Cassava peel + IMO 1 (1%) + molasses (3%), (P2 = Cassava peel + IMO 2 (1%) + molasses (3%), (P3 = Cassava peel + IMO 3 (1%) + molasses (3%) and five replications. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and Dunnet's test, using the IBM SPSS 21 tool. The results of this study showed that the use of MOL had a significant effect (P<0.05) on pH but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on lactic acid , dry matter content, and Fleigh value. The conclusion of this study is that the use of MOL can be used as a substitute for a commercial starter because the anaerobic fermentation of cassava peels produced is included in the very good category based on the pH value, lactic acid content, dry matter and the resulting Fleigh value.

Antibiotic Resistance of Escherichia coli Isolate from Broiler Cecum and Organic Broiler Cecum 肉鸡盲肠和有机肉鸡盲肠大肠杆菌分离株的耐药性研究

This study aims to determine the level of antibiotic resistance of Escherichia coli bacterial isolates from broiler cecum and organic broiler cecum using the disc diffusion method on Muller-Hinton Agar as many as 10 cecum samples for each group.Collection of samples using purposive sampling method. Isolates suspected of being Escherichia coliwere further tested using Indole, Methyl Red Voges-Proskauer (MRVP), and Citrate (IMVIC) biochemical tests. E. coli isolates were further tested with the Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing which aims to test antibiotic sensitivity. The results obtained from testing antibiotic resistance against Escherichia coli in broiler caecums showed a fairly high level of resistance to Gentamicin (70%), Ampicillin (100%), Cephalotin (100%), Nalixid Acid (86%), Streptomycin (80%), Erythromycin (100%), Oxytetracycline (80%), and the lowest was the antibiotic Chloramphenicol (30%), while the level of resistance in organic broilers showed Ampicillin (100%), Cefalotin (70%), Erythromycin (100%), the lowest resistance was Gentamicin (10%), Oxytetracycline (20%), Chlorampenicol (10%). Escherichia coli isolates obtained from the caecum of broiler and organic broiler showed a fairly high level of resistance. Conclusions of this study were resistance of Escherichia coli bacteria isolated from broiler cecum showed high results to almost all antibiotics except for chloramphenicol antibiotics, while resistance to Escherichia coli bacteria in organic broilers was lower than broilers but still showed a fairly high level of resistance, except for antibiotics Gentamicin, Nalixid acid , and chloramphenicol.
