The purpose of this study was to use the Sports Policy Factors Leading to International Sporting Success (SPLISS 2.0) instrument and the nine pillars of elite sports success approach to survey and assess the success factors of coaching. Athletes from eight districts or cities in Central Java that had paragliding organizations, as well as chairs, secretaries, treasurers, and coaches were included in the survey. Data were analyzed through SPLISS 2.0 reports and quantitative analysis methods. Potential success factors were determined quantitatively using 96 CSFs assigned to a score of 0–1 based on nine pillars. Findings show that Banyumas, Grobogan, the Semarang district, and Karanganyar are the four regions offering the highest numbers of paragliding sports. The districts of Grobogan and Semarang are best in participation, talent identification, and talent development. The results show that many regions have yet to adopt the nine pillars. It is intended that each region would produce paragliding athletes of the highest caliber, honoring Central Java and Indonesia as a country. Keywords: SPLISS models, paragliding, sport policy

This paper examines the government’s strong interest in Indonesia’s economic activities, especially in the context of post-COVID-19 economic recovery. The objective is to qualitatively analyze economic recovery strategies, especially in the MSME and tourism sectors, which have a significant impact on economic growth. A dynamic systems approach with qualitative methods was applied for collecting data through interviews, observations, and the use of secondary data from authentic articles. The findings highlight the need for support in the MSME sector, including improving the quality of human resources, financial management, tax incentives, credit relief and restructuring, increased working capital financing, product support, and e-learning training. The tourism sector requires innovation and diversification in the areas of product development, destinations, and tourism infrastructure management. This study makes a novel contribution by presenting a qualitative system dynamics conceptual model for post-COVID-19 economic recovery strategies. Future research will focus on testing and validating the components of this model in the context of MSMEs and tourism and will help policymakers, management teams, and relevant stakeholders in their efforts to recover MSMEs and tourism sectors from the impacts of disasters. This will have a significant impact on everyone involved. Keywords: Post COVID-19, MSMEs, tourism

This study aimed to analyze sustainable peatland management to reduce the risk of peatland fires. Data were collected through observations and interviews with 20 informants, including farmers, civil servants, heads of government offices, and the Masyarakat Peduli Api (MPA) or Fire Care Community. Findings confirmed that knowledge of peatland characteristics, economic morals, local wisdom, and adaptation carried out by the community has an impact on sustainable peatland management. Local knowledge about the peatland, economic morals, and adaptations have been passed on from generation to generation by reducing land preparation by burning and using appropriate agricultural equipment and farming systems. Managing peatlands while maintaining local wisdom through the tapulikampar system is a better option to reduce the risk of land fires. If the community continues to maintain the local values in managing peatlands, the risk of fires on peatlands can be reduced. Keywords: Ce4ommunity, land management, sustainable, fire reduction, peatland

This research aims to develop an innovative learning model to cultivate students’ critical thinking skills. The formulated model is anchored in Problem-Based Learning (PBL) principles, a pedagogical approach highly endorsed by experts for its efficacy in enhancing critical thinking abilities. We endeavor to optimize the application of PBL to enhance the overall joyfulness of the learning experience. This research method uses DBR by Reeves, which includes: (1) identifying and analyzing problems by researchers and practitioners in collaboration, (2) development of solutions informed by existing design principles and technology innovation, (3) iterative cycles of testing and refinement of solutions in practice, and (4) reflection to produce “design principles” and enhance solution implementation in practice. Currently, the research is in stage two. In the first stage of DBR, the data were collected using a questionnaire to determine the obstacles to PBL from the teacher’s perspective and diagnostics of students’ critical thinking using tests. In stage two, we used a literature study to provide theoretical support for learning model developers. The research results are a draft of the Integrative Collaborative Problem Solving (ICoPS) learning model. We developed this model from the PBL and Jigsaw methods involving the TPACK approach. ICoPS syntax is a combination of the three constituent contents. ICoPS syntax includes (1) problem orientation, (2) formation of an expert group, (3) Jigsaw discussion, (4) investigation, (5) presenting of findings, and (6) evaluation. The syntax maximizes students’ critical thinking while maintaining ease and practicality when applied in the classroom. Keywords: problem-based learning, jigsaw discussion, TPACK, critical thinking

Taxes are the main source of state income. The research aims to examine the influence of the contribution of the service and the industrial sector on tax revenues. The difference in research is that it uses per capita income as a moderating variable. This research uses data from countries, such as Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, which have several similarities in terms of prosperity, education, and a strong and stable economy. The data used comes from the World Bank and spans 2002-2019. The research results show that the contribution of the service sector, industry, and per capita income positively influences tax revenues. Supported by high tax rates, increasing donations to the service, and industrial sectors means that tax revenues are growing. Interestingly, using per capita income as a moderating variable negatively affects the service and industrial sectors’ tax revenues. With the moderating influence of per capita income, tax avoidance can grow in the service and industrial sectors. One of the tax avoidance measures is using a transfer pricing scheme. This was triggered by high tax rates and the Human Development Index (HDI). The higher the tax rate, the more loopholes the taxpayer will look for to avoid taxes, to lower the tax burden. A high HDI will enable a high level of tax knowledge. Apart from increasing tax compliance, a high level of tax knowledge will also allow tax avoidance. The issue of gender in global cross-generational consciousness must be urgently addressed. Gender equality (Sustainable Development Goal 5 or SDG5) should be the responsibility of all countries around the world. As a result, this study intends to draw a map of knowledge on gender issues in consciousness across generations to investigate the state of research and future possibilities. This study aims to build a knowledge map that provides a comprehensive understanding of gender issues in awareness across generations. Vosviewer was used to perform bibliometric techniques on 370 English articles from Scopus on cross-generational awareness and gender equality themes. The study emphasizes the continued focus and upward trend of publications after cluster analysis and time series analysis and outlines the important authors, and research countries on the issue. The US has made significant contributions and influenced the UK and Australia. Gender, generation, gender equality, awareness, generational differences, gender issues, culture, education, gender inequality, feminism, health equity, diversity, social psychology, policy, and sustainable development are some of the groups of terms generated by the author’s collaboration. As a result, the conclusions propose that research on gender issues could be expanded to include more authors, fields, subjects, and other diverse cooperative sectors. The implications of this knowledge mapping go beyond academia, holding practical and policy relevance, especially regarding gender equality and cross-generational awareness. This study is critical to inform future policies and practices aimed at fostering inclusivity and equality across generations.
